Laws Of Cultivation

After Luke unlocked the (Training) function,he started to use it everyday.Other than sleeping and eating,most of his time was spent training.

~ 1 day before the family gathering ~

"Hmph!Looks who's here?! Isn't it the clan 'genius'Luke?" A purple clothed youth sneered as soon as Luke walked past him.

Luke and the many bystanders around him turned and identified the youth whom the voice belonged to:Joven.

Joven was the previous genius that the clan elders doted on,before the advent of Luke that is.

After that,life was never quite the same for Joven.

The treatment from the Elders was colder,distant.It got worse,until no one paid any attention to him anymore as Luke outshone him in every category.

Be it looks,wealth,status and age,he outclassed Joven.Joven,being the proud and arrogant genius he was,despised Luke for stealing everything he had and wished for nothing but revenge.

However,it was not to take his life,rather,it was to beat him fair and square to regain his recognition and reputation as a genius.

Hence,although Joven had a slight grudge towards him,he did not go too far.

He recognised that it was not really the fault of Luke,but,he still could not bring himself to admit his loss and wanted to fight Luke and beat him so that the clan will once again recognise him as the genius he once was.

Luke,with the wisdom he had in his previous life,did not that the provocation to heart as he could tell that it was merely Joven being jealous and had no malicious or killing intent within him.

"Luke,when we meet during the family gathering,I will not show mercy regardless of your age!"Joven declared.

Luke felt admiration towards Joven's straightforwardness and decisive nature.

Although the bystanders may feel that Joven was bullying Luke as he was older then Luke by 3 years and thus had more time to cultivate,he decisively announced his intentions.

"I won't hold back too.Let us have a good match."Luke replied,without a trace of arrogance nor anger.

"Actions speak louder than words.There is no need to boast."Joven retorted,as he thought Luke was boasting,as having a 3 year head start was no joke.

That was usually correct,had Luke been a normal person.But was he?He had the assistance of Gaia,a nigh omnipotent system,with him.

Even the bystanders around him thought that Luke was unnecessarily boasting.They felt that Luke was too arrogant,even if he had heavenly talent.

Luke's heart was clam and his thinking was unperturbed:he knew with his current strength,as long as he doesn't offend any of the clans' Guardians,he could roam in this world unhindered.

He had more time to catch up due to the time dilation in the (Training) dimension and the Qi in it was much more pure when compared to the cultivation room he had been alloted to.

Whenever he goes to the (Training) dimension,he uses the excuse of cultivating in his room to advoid suspicion from his parents.

This was slightly why he could cultivate up to his current stength in such speeds.Most of it was from his natural talents.

This was why Luke was very confident in obtaining the 1st place in the gsthering.
