Lord of Pets

[Important Notice] The new book

【important Notice】

I have been preparing for it for three months, with anxiety and anticipation, and I dedicate it to my readers and myself.

For a new book, the new book period is very, very, very important, especially for "follow-up reading". Whether it can get recommendations and whether it can get better recommendations all depends on this data.

[Note: Follow-up reading refers to the number of readers of the latest chapter within 24 hours. It must be the starting point, and other ends are not counted.

In addition, the statistics are for "paying readers", who need to have recharged and consumed points before, even if it is only a dime, in order to be counted as valid data. (I actually don’t understand the rules very well, so I’m trying to be conservative, so I hope I understand)]

——————————————

Comes with [small easter egg]

The new book has just been published, so I don’t have much chance to reveal too much about my creative motivations and ideas outside of the text of the new book.

(It will affect the reading experience. Secondly, the best introduction method is only the main text, and the rest is virtual.)

I secretly write a little bit here, just as a rumination. I hope that when I look back a few years later, I have not forgotten my original intention and am still shining in the field I love.

Even if you succeed, don't be proud and complacent. If you fail, don't be discouraged. The results are important, but you should also remember to appreciate the scenery along the way.

——

After writing "The Master of Pet Beasts", I am not tired of the subject of beast control, but I am quite troubled by cheats such as system lottery (when I thought about recipes with various effects, I really dug a hole for myself. Very troublesome...).

Therefore, when I was imagining the setting of the new book, I have been thinking about it. Instead of writing a system, how can I give the protagonist some interesting cheats that are powerful and not easy to trick myself?

Then, I didn't give a clear definition.

Compared to those gold-finger settings with clear ideas, I prefer "Ascension" to be a hodgepodge. The protagonist's uniqueness is reflected in all aspects, including but not limited to his own wisdom, ability, choices, opportunities, life experience, and connections. , bloodline...

In theory, big and small, in fact, all are golden fingers.

This is a direction I want to try.

(For details, please read the text, it is difficult to describe.)

Then, let’s talk about the favored spirits.

Why is it called "the spirit"? The main reason may be that I have read too many words such as "pet beast", "master" and "master beast", and I am tired of aesthetics.

I always pursue original backgrounds and construct my own fantasy world from beginning to end. Using such repetitive vocabulary always feels a bit "cheap", which I don't quite accept.

For the time being, Black Pepper Immortal, I am still full of exploratory spirit and trial and error cost at this stage, and I am brave enough to try new ideas.

In the end, after much searching, the word "Holy Spirit" was finalized, and other related settings were developed on this basis.

Also, why "ascension"?

This should be easier to understand, I won’t spoil it, just read the text.

(At the beginning, my mind was filled with the idea of "Lord of XX". This kind of book title is in line with my style. It is simple and crude. If I keep it consistent, when I open my book column in the future, there will be a list of "Lord of XX". Think about it. Quite interesting.

Later, I knocked out the previous idea and replaced it with the word "ascension", which felt more flavorful and easier to stick to the theme. )

Then, in "Ascension of the Ascension", between humans and beasts, I took the risk to increase the proportion of humans.

(Everyone says that Yuju-ryu focuses on "beasts". I agree, but I am still willing to try flower tricks. If you make a mistake, you will suffer a small loss, but if you win, you will make a profit.)

Specifically, I give humans "professions". Different professions paired with different beasts produce completely different effects.

In the new book, I define it as "authority."

It can be said with certainty that the risk of this setting is huge, and if the proportion is slightly imbalanced, the fun of the beast-control novel will be lost.

But as a creator, I really think this setting is very interesting. There are already hundreds of professions listed in the outline. If they could be presented one by one on the stage... When I think about it late at night, sometimes I will get excited. ! look forward to!

What else can I talk about? Hmm... In "The Lord of Pet Beasts", I discovered as I was writing that some readers are very particular about their taste. If they don't like the protagonist's name, they will lose interest in reading.

Just a name like "Bai Wushang" has caused a lot of controversy.

I won’t talk about old books here. I am always willing to respect everyone’s ideas. If everyone has the same ideas imprinted in a template, then the world will lose its diversity, which will be boring.

In "Ascension of the Ascension", I thought about the name of the protagonist for a long time.

From a balanced perspective, this name should not make most readers feel disgusted or disgusted when they first see it.

Secondly, the name must be something I like. I am a creator and type the name of the protagonist dozens of times every day. If I don’t like the name from the bottom of my soul, then every time I type it, the writing process will be a little more confusing. It's boring and accumulated over a long period of time without any benefit.

Putting it all together, I had an idea.

Hey, the last protagonist's last name was "Bai", right?

The surname "Hei" is too weird. To twist it, let's have a surname of "Ye"!

With "Ye" as my surname, I feel like, wow, it's a bit cool, so special, and so flavorful.

(As an aside, there is a character in Pet Lord that I will never forget, called "Yabuzhan". I have forgotten what contract he made or what he did, but I like this name so much that I even regret it. Give a good name to a supporting role.)

Okay, let’s stop talking about whatever comes to mind, this little deserted corner.

Next, I will work hard and ask for your support.

The new book "Ascension of the Beloved Spirits" will be released in 2023!
