Lucky nodded. This was still a secret, though he wasn't sure why. Anyway, he could tell that Aubrey expected it to be secret by her reaction. He had never heard another whisper so softly.

However, wasn't his bloodline supposed to also be a secret? Lucky wasn't even sure how many people already knew about this. It was becoming very frustrating. He made a mental note to look for that damned scarlet shadow again tonight.

"You should join the trial, then!" exclaimed Aubrey excitedly. If Lucky could go to the trial too, how great would that be? She was becoming excited, "The trial was supposed to start last week, but the honorable Guru Majestic postponed it at the last minute. Now, it starts this weekend! Registration is today, and we depart from campus bright and early tomorrow morning."

"The weekend, huh," this was extremely close in Lucky's opinion, as it was already the third to last day of the week. However, the guru postponed it? Could this be the trial his professor had mentioned to him previously?

'Should be…' thought Lucky Riot to himself. In that case, he was already tasked with registering for this trial today in the first place. However, he knew it would please Aubrey if he accepted, "Yeah sure, why not."

"Really?!" Aubrey smiled at him beautifully, dazzling the males in the area. This primarily included Lucky, who blanked out momentarily. At this time, Lucky truly understood what made Aubrey one of the prettiest girls in the school, the three angels. Her bearing was so graceful and warm, and her lithe frame seems so delicate and precious. However, that smiling oval face of hers had truly moved him. When Aubrey smiled, Lucky swore he could hear birds singing.

This was similar to his fiancé Violet Mercy, but Aubrey's temperament was a bit lacking in comparison. As for Margot, her body seemed to be getting even curvier and was evolving in a significant way that left Lucky stunned.

Lucky paused in his mind. He was left a little baffled. Since when had he cared about the appearance of women so much? However, when he thought back to the nights with his maid Scarlet Mercury he suddenly found the answer. If such magic was possible with a married woman, what of the ones who were available? Were they not lambs for the slaughter?

Lucky shivered at this thought, and suddenly felt the need to develop a tighter control over his impulses. This draconic prince thing was indeed not simple.

Seeing Lucky stare her face in a heated daze, Aubrey blushed, but inwardly felt amazed, shy, and pretty as she replied, "Then… Uhm… would you like to maybe… work together?"

"Sure." Lucky Riot didn't even consider it much before responding. After all, none of his friends had spirit power except for Maggie, and hers was only able to perform healing spells. Also, Aubrey was already his partner in Magi Class. He felt terrible about this, as he spent most of the week with his professor and his friends. This meant that Aubrey rarely had a partner to practice with. Lucky initially intended to head to the Trial grounds alone, but having some company seemed better.

"Ah... Uhm… okay…. well… call me?"

"Sure."

"Um, later, okay! Yeah. Oh! Where's your com?"

"Too smelly. I don't have one."

"What do you mean you don't have one?! Okay. Nevermind."

"Well, see you later then. I'll get Capp to call you for me," said Lucky Riot as he turned to depart.

"Ye, yeah. Bye." Aubrey's mind was currently short-circuited, as she never thought Lucky would agree to her request so quick. She felt giddy and embarrassed. She had to immediately give Capital Blacc her number.

'Could he like me, too?' thought Aubrey to herself as she ran to her friends like a panicked kitten. The pack of females whispered and giggled away, a couple of them making sure to wink and wave at Bravo, who looked goofy as he waved back.

Lucky inwardly found this adorable, but his face was without emotion as he spoke to Bravo, "I've got things to do, bro. I'm out of here. Tell Mags I'll see her when I get back, yeah?"

"Get back... from the trial?? What?! So you just want her to go all batty on me instead!" snapped Bravo Frenzy in disp.l.e.a.s.u.r.e.

"Well, it's not like I can tell her before I leave," laughed Lucky while dashing away.

Bravo grumbled under his breath, before looking to the students on the training field, "Okay, this daddy feels warmed up now. Who wants a beating?"

After bidding farewell to Bravo and spying on Capital's Water God Fist Art with his Profound Instinct for awhile, Lucky made his way to the student government's temporary station at the student union hall in Thoth Academy. Similar to the Student Government's building at the advanced academy, the Student Union Hall was also located in the center of the academy. It was a building of sophisticated design and had four floors, with the top two levels being combined into one. The stories were separated into one for each school.

Just like the Student Government's building itself, the student government's temporary station was also on the third floor of the Student Union. Specifically, at the top of the grand staircase on the third floor. That staircase used to separate the upperclassmen from the lowerclassmen. Now, it housed the core facilities of the student government. Such as the Judiciary Hall, who was in charge of enforcing the rules among the student warrior disciples.

Especially the school's number one rule: absolutely no murder among students was tolerated or permitted. The consequence was death! The lowest level punishment you would receive is 50 years imprisonment in the dungeons of the Twelve Judment Stars.

After returning to Thoth Academy via the bullet train, Lucky entered the student union and observed all the kids on the first-floor bustling about and enjoying their youth.

"This could almost be considered mayhem," mused Lucky silently. In the crowds, there was everything from kids with gaming systems, to kids wrestling in a mock arena. The sight was somewhat nostalgic.

Lucky and Capital also used to spend their free time in the Student Union during their elementary years, and even the first year of middle school. After that, due to his lack of talent in cultivating mystic essence, Lucky had been training ridiculously hard to try and make up for it! He no longer had the free time to visit the student union.

The kids in the room all looked at Lucky with stars in their eyes. He was wearing his vermillion color training armor under his acolyte robes that only advanced magi students were given to wear. Lucky was also tall and athletic with long wavy black hair that Margot Frenzy had braided to the back in a unique design. Vermillion was the color that represented a direct student of a member of the elder council. Actually, Lucky's armor should have been gold, as this was the Principal and Vice-Principal's standard.

However, it was an absolute secret that Clear Sky was the principal. Most of the teachers weren't even aware of this. Thus, until Guru Majestic personally brought him into public by her side, Lucky continued to wear the vermillion armor.

Lucky's hazel eyes were bright and deep, and a slight heat emitted from his tall body. The kids didn't know, but this was a result of his active fey lifeblood powers swimming through his divine class spirit circuits. To them, Lucky felt like a walking fireplace as he strode proudly to the next floor. The upperclassman who was responsible for guarding the entrance to the second floor glanced as Lucky once, and simply didn't make any effort to stop him at all once he saw the magi robes and light armor.

Only a Prefect level advanced student would dress this way. Who could block a Prefect??

As Lucky approached the elevator, he decided it would be better to take a stroll through the middle floor as well, as he had barely seen it previously. He was sixteen years old today, and the last time he had come here, he was around twelve years old. After ascending the staircase and reaching the second level, Lucky was immediately greeted with a far calmer environment than that of the wild and active elementary school students below.

The middle school students were actually mainly in study groups, or social groups, with a few loners scattered around reading. However, in the southeast corner, there was a large congregation of students who seemed to be cheering on a fight. There were even a few upperclassmen mixed into the crowd, and this was something Lucky found genuinely shocking.

Could some kids who had barely even entered the Hard Body Stage really be so entertaining to watch? Tightly grasped by his curiosity, Lucky headed over to find out. Upon approaching, he saw a small boy full of bruises on the ground, who was getting wailed on by four or five of these little brats.

"Do you get it now, Banks? Princess Chevy is destined to be my only companion now that we both ascended to the advanced classes. Though she is a commoner, her talent is enough to supersede this point," a snarky brat in blue clothes was talking shit from the sidelines while his lackeys beat up poor Banks.

"Ricky, do you think that I'm impressed with this? Let him go, NOW! You're in AP, the teacher said you're not even supposed to be doing this," at this moment, the Lucky Riot who was losing interest in this play suddenly heard a sweet but mischievous voice.

'Chevy?'

This familiar voice was one that he had not heard in a very long time, and his heart became instantly agitated. Although the tone had changed a bit, it was definitely her.

He could never mistake the voice of this brat.

'Why would she be here? Could it be…'

Could she have been a student here all this while, and no one had told him?!

However, Lucky didn't hurry to step out. He just continued to watch the events play out. He wanted to see what kind of person this girl had grown into. If she was anything like her father, Lucky no longer had any qualms about distancing himself. He knew what sort of poison Marc Raizen was. This man was a calamity on his family. 'Let's see what her relation to this 'Banks' and 'Ricky' are.'

"Hmph, it was you who came here to meet with this trash," said Ricky, visibly displeased. Ricky waved his hand, and the henchmen stopped stomping on the small boy on the ground abruptly and returned to his side. "My father has already been in talks with yours. We will be engaged soon, as soon as your status as a noble gets registered with the County. On the other hand, trash like this needs to be taken out early, before it develops an odor."

"Pah," Banks spat out. "F.u.c.k.i.n.g piss ants. Haha, I'm only at the first level Hard Body Stage, but you all had to gang up against me with so many people! I'm exceptional. You're so pathetic."

"Fool, these lackeys of mine's most crucial element is that they can still deal with you punks in the regular classes," sneered Ricky. "For reasons you could never understand, my exalted self can no longer be involved with you twerps directly. I simply shouldn't even be speaking to you. It's an insult to my status."

Lucky frowned, as this kid was bizarre. Most children didn't act this way, after all. He glanced over to see a petite figure in a pure white dress with white hair rush over to the wounded Banks, before stuffing a pill into his mouth. The pale complexion of the boy recovered a bit as he looked at the little beauty supporting himself. He was undoubtedly infatuated, and also embarrassed to the extreme.

Lucky Riot was able to gather from the previous conversation that this Banks kid used to be in the same class with the former two, but they had been promoted this year. This initially would have caused quite the commotion, but Lucky and his friends had stolen all of the spotlights inadvertently.

At this moment, the girl stood up to reveal a delicate face that kept changing rapidly between stern and fierce expressions. That playful countenance that Lucky was accustomed to seeing seemed to be repressed right now, as she currently raged in her heart because of the treatment of her friend. Nonetheless, she was as lovely as a painting. Lucky felt like he was staring at a tiny version of his mother. This girl was surprisingly his baby sister, Chevy Raizen!
