For our outstanding pair of Ice and Shadow magus, they are currently talking with a first-year student girl with long brown hair.

"Ah Senior Glacia and Peter I'm so glad you came!!" A pretty petite girl smiled with relief as she saw the familiar duo of blonde and albino approaching her.

"Like we had any other choice-" Peter muttered under his breath but before he could voice out more of his protests, Glacia thankfully stopped him by gripping his hand as she enchanted it with the chilly frost of Winter and looked at him with an expression that promised pain and suffering which caused the Assassin to shut up in response.

'Crap, she sure is scary when she wants to be.' Thought Peter with a nervous look.

Glacia then immediately shifted her expression as she faced the girl and smiled friendly.

"Oh, we came here as soon as we can Kate. So, I heard your puppy is missing?"

"Yes, Ms. Glacia. Cerebus and I were just taking a walk at the park when all of a sudden he just runs off and now I just can't find him anywhere." The girl now known as Kate answered them with worry.

"Hmm fine, we'll find this pet of yours." Peter said as he nodded.

"Thank you." Kate answered with appreciation.

The pair then took their leave as they decided to investigate the park where the puppy Cerebus was last seen.

"So, we're just finding some lost dog? Tsk too easy." Peter smirked arrogantly as he cast the spell...

"SHADOW TRACK."

Peter with his potent affinity with the shadows thanks to his magic also has the ability to track anyone's shadow for a considerable distance. This is also one of the reasons why the Earlsongs are also renowned trackers and bounty hunters who can easily find someone and assassinate in the end.

In this case, a lost puppy is something trivial for a skilled assassin like him.

The albino's vision in an instant turned black and white as he tracked down the shadow trails of the puppy as marked by its dog-like appearance.

"Wow, that's a useful skill you got there." Glacia said with amazement as she complimented one of Peter's arsenal of Shadows.

"Heh, we are not the famed family of Assassins for nothing Icy." Peter smiled playfully in response.

"Alright, let's go find Cerebus!!" Glacia said happily as she gestured Peter to lead the way.

As they followed the dog's shadow trail, the duo eventually ended up inside the Hallow Woods.

"Damn it of all f.u.c.k.i.n.g places, that freaking mutt has to end up here." Peter said with utter annoyance.

And he has a good reason to be. The Hallow Woods, one of the Academy's most prestige places is a forest that serves as a breeding grounds for magical creatures and beasts.

It is also renowned for its unusual features. The color of the tree's leaves is violet and daytime no longer exists in here since the time of the day does not in a sense adhere with the current atmosphere outside because of a strange magical barrier conjured by a species of beasts known as the Night Ones and the surroundings is always greeted with the bright light of twilight that shines ever in a nightly atmosphere.

And also, the forest is known for its inhabitants, both wild and unpredictable as they stalk unwary magi who even dared to take a single step inside the Academy's woods.

"We promised Kate that we are going to find Cerebus so there's no backing out now." Glacia said with a sigh.

"Whatever. That mutt will be even lucky to be alive in the first place if what they said about this place is true." Peter g.r.o.a.n.e.d as they took themselves deeper into the heart of the forest.

So, after agreeing to find the dog for the last time, the two set forth once more.

Despite walking for the past 2 hours, they did not encounter anything out of the ordinary, well at least anything that seemed threatening since a two-headed ostrich and a snake with legs is not something that you can define as ordinary.

"Crap this place is a f.u.c.k.i.n.g maze." Peter muttered, clearly annoyed as evidence by his frown.

"Hmm, maybe we should consult with the King of the Forest after all." Glacia suggested.

"King?" The Assassin look at the blonde with a questioning expression.

Glacia nodded "Yes the king of the Hallow Woods, Harus the Magical bunny."

In response, Peter let out a very loud laugh as he clutched his stomach.
