Mana: Goddess Of Destiny

Chapter 65 - 34: Pendragon, Another Familiar Person and the One He Will Lose To.

After hearing the full report of Faith's kidnapping, Arthur's expression remains calm and collected. He asked about Pavall and the other knight's condition, before dismissing them to let them rest.

"Your Majesty, what about Fay? We got to find a way to get her out of there!"

Kai frowned while crying out loud anxiously.

"He is no ordinary man, but the Demon Clamest. Let me scout if it's possible to sneak in the castle."

Terry glanced at Kay and added.

"I'll go with you."

No one finds Terry's offer strange at all.

He has two sides to him in many ways; elegant in demeanor and cruel in the act, serene to his allies and vicious to his enemies. He rarely displays kindness and compassion, nor does he show sadness, remorse, and other emotions. For some reason, only he and Kai managed to hit it off smoothly. Besides, Terry can be said as the first person that managed to withstand Kai's endless gossip. He is also the only one that can make Kai shut up obediently.

"You two don't worry yourself. I'll be the one to save Fay."

Gawain interrupted the two, stood up while holding the hilt of his sword... And not forgetting to put up a POSE while he does exactly that.

"Sneaking into the castle to save Fay won't be an easy task. In any case, let me help."

Lancelot's gentle smile has now been replaced with a serious expression. As soon as he thought of Clamest's famous torture tendencies, he too worries for Faith.

Arthur kept silent while his knights offered to save Faith, his hand on top of an upright stone at the side.

Every time Faith is involved his thoughts have always been in disarray.

Never has there been a night like this, even more so when he found out that she fell into the hands of that Demon Clamest. He almost lost himself in rage.

Arthur knew all along. He knew that the only way to come up with a way to save her, is to calm himself down first.

'Everyone else probably discussing like idiots at this moment' Faith thought as she sipped her tea while reading a book. She didn't look like she had been tortured at all.

"Milord, Rome's secret messenger is here. He's waiting in the reception hall now." Clamest said to Lucius who was doing the same thing as her.

As soon as Lucius leaves the room, Clamest hastily closed the door, walked over to Faith and slams her table.

"Oh! Do you want to fight" Faith glared at him in furry of being interrupted by his sudden action.

"I need to know which path Arthur used to send my brother to Camelot!"

Clamest looked at her eyes seriously.

"My brother is now a stone away from his destination! I need to save him before Arthur locks him up in a heavily guarded prison!"

Fall, Clamest slipped to the ground unconscious.

'opps, did I used to much' Faith thought she might have killed him. But, when she realized he was still alive she turned back to her table and continued on reading and drinking her tea.

Sometime later Lucius returned to find Faith playing with an unconscious Lucius.

He nearly broke out in laughter. As he was position funnily with black markings all over his face.

"Your back, I was just playing with your subordinate. He knows I'm a magic user and yet he still tried to do something. What and Idiot " Faith said with a smile as she was still painting his face.

Lucius's expression is unexpectedly tender. Those splendors hidden in his silver eyes now show weariness. A stare of distant nothingness. It is as if the pale moon hangs in an empty sky. An enigmatic man who detaches himself from others.

This shocked Faith as she was nearly pulled in by his charm magic. 'I really need to pull myself together' she thought as she turned away. Its getting harder to look at him without being charmed.

"Sire, Arthur is--"

Parsi Farkas looked at the clam women who had once kicked him in the face.

"Why are you here?"

"Ugh, such an irritating question? Everyone asks that all the time" Faith muttered but Lucius heard it, making him laugh.

"Continue your previous report." Lucius looked back at Parsi

"Sire, Arthur's army will attack us tomorrow. For the past few days, our troops have taken a massive blow from their siege. We can no longer hold on to this castle. I'm afraid if this continue, we will lose this castle."

"We can no longer hold on, you say... I'm afraid that's not true at all."

Lucius smirked.

"We have her. We may be able to turn the tables."

"Planning to use me are you" she commented with a smile "What do you have in mind"

'D****, it' she pouted and turned her face. "Though I can't say I am not curious. I want to Know whether they'll give up the battle for me or not. I hope they don't."

"The more unattainable an object is, the more we wish to obtain it." Lucius whispered.

"No matter what dirty tricks you use, Arthur will be the final victor"

"Is that so? Even though he is an idiot"

"Yes, an Idiot but he is blessed by 'god', he will only lose to one person…." Faith trailed all as she realized she was talking too much.

"He will only lose to who?" Lucius asked in eyes full of curiosity
