Mana: Goddess Of Destiny

Chapter 79 - 48: Pendragon, She Actually Doesn’t Care

Faith laid on the Grass close to Claudius grave, Durandal is on the verge of breaking its binds. She already noted the intruders of the grounds feet's away.

Lucius must have lost; He may have given up his ambitions. Celine will Live with Ellipsis from now on. Avalon will be destroyed and by Morgan and her son's betrayal.

It will all turn to dust.

Faith twitched as she heard the doors of the chapel open

As soon as the group opened the door, they saw a familiar black-haired young woman lying on the grass. Seemingly asleep.

"Hey, stupid Women" Arthur was the first one to yell. Then a waved of vicious aura hit them and pushed them back.

Edward was the only one to stand his ground he was stunned; it was the first time he had seen his mother in years.

Faith who laid still on the grass had slowly gotten "Ed"

Edward softened at his nickname.

"Come here" she called, and Edward felt obligated to come forward. Durandal's pressure was still active but it didn't affect Edward as he kneeled down for Faith to see him clearly.

"Hello, Mother"

Faith smiled "Little Ed has grown so big, your no longer then twitting little bird but a man. Such a disappointment I wanted my adorable little Ed to stay cute forever."

Edward shook his head in embarrassment. "I heard you met Morgan…What did you think of your Nephew"

"…."

"What's wrong"

"I didn't think I would be allowed to call him that"

"Nonsense, Rose never said anything like that either."

"….."

"Mother I-"

Faith hugged him "Don't be like that, cause right now you have a wonderful family don't you, Kai is a wonderful boy with a big mouth, but a wonderful person nonetheless." Faith dropped her arms "You should go"

"Mother will you be coming back"

Faith smiled before casting a spell, and Edward disappeared.

"Durandal" Faith whispered

The swords pressure had dropped just like that. Allowing the others who were held down by it to stand up again.

"It broke, it looks," Faith thought "Well, magic the manipulates memories isn't stable at all."

She looked at their near broken expressions as their memories returned.

"Durandal if you want to come with me, your going to have to do better."

Shake, Shake

Faith stood up "Arthur do I still look weak to you, now," she said she folded her arms with a cold-hearted expression.

"Did you really erase everyone's memories of you?" he asked

Shake, Shake

"I did"

Shake, Shake

"Why did you?" Lancelot stepped in.

"Why can't I, I wanted people to forget I existed. Was I not allowed"

Shake, Shake

"Faith, that is too much" Kai voiced out "Hey, wait where did my dad go?" he said confused.

Snap, a chain broke.

"Faith, did you perhaps hate us" Lancelot couldn't help but voice.

Snap, another chain broke.

"No, I don't" Faith signed "Men, Knights to have always seen women as weak beings. But, Have I not proven how strong I was time and time again.

So, why is my strength a lie to you…."

Snap the last chain and the Durandal fell to the ground hard.

Faith picked it up and sighed once more "Arthur, never think just because someone is a woman, they are weak. In fact, it can be women that are the most frightening. But you will soon understand what I mean.

Was the last thing Faith said before she disappeared.
