The dinner with her parents went quite well and all her anxiety and fear was relieved, she had also forgotten about the new decision she had to make. Later when they waited for the deserts to arrive Jamie pulled out a gift from her bag and handed it over to Rachel. She excitedly opened the gift, it was the latest android phone so she looked at her in surprise "Mom you know I don't like using phones."

"I know darling but y out have to start using it and I have something to tell you so listen to me carefully" she paused and Jamie's heartbeat fast "What is it mom"

Tears welled up in Jamie's eyes when Charles's spoke up "Sweetie we have to travel for a few years for a project and we will be leaving this coming Monday."

Rachel was relieved and held her mother's hand "It's okay mom don't cry, I will be fine on my own moreover I have my aunt and uncle to take care of me."

Jamie smiled "I thought you will panic but yes of course James and Daisy will be there next door, you can always go to them."

Rachel held back her tears and smiled "Obviously I will be fine, you don't have to worry and focus on the work."

The deserts then arrived at the table and while they enjoyed the desserts Charles explained everything to Rachel about cash withdrawal and banking and Jamie explained every other thing to take care of herself and then they said that if she needed anything else or had any trouble, she should ask for help from James and Daisy.

She kept nodding and listened to the instructions carefully.

Later when they reached home, the three of them had a great family time together, watching TV, talking to each other and playing games. After everyone was tired they went to their rooms and Jamie lay down on her bed quiet content when her phone buzzed. She was confused because she just received the phone so how could someone have her number. It was a message from an unknown number that said 'Now that your parents won't be home it would be easier for you to work for us.'

She was excited as well as shocked 'How do you know my number and how do you know about my parents.'

She soon received a message 'We have our sources which you can have access to when you join.'

She replied 'I still need time to think.'

'Yes you can have all the time you need you want because we could fulfill any extra demands, if we could have a talented person like you on our team.'

She said 'Thank you.' and then went to take a bath. She sat in the bath tub, while enjoying her bath she smiled at how she was in demand but then she started thinking if she should agree or not and started weighing the pros and cons of it.
