ME LOVE YOU

Ren left after breakfast, Ria started to clean her room and arrange the wedding clothes as her relatives will arrive soon. The day after tomorrow is their engagement and the wedding will take place for the entire next week.

Servants were running here and there, cleaning the place and rearranging the furniture. Valerie was busy inside the mansion ordering people around while Damien was outside given orders to the servants to clean the garden. The little marshmallows were running around helping the gardeners.

The engagement party is to be held in the garden. Lucy and Reyan are talking in phone with a bunch of people regarding the engagement ceremony. By the time Ria finished her work, her cousins started to flood her room.

The room became lively, as sounds of teasing and laughter filled it. After lunch, everyone was assigned with a task and started to go through with it. The next two days went on with people arriving, setting the engagement hall, decorations and most importantly spa for ladies.

Ren called Ria a few times and they talked for a few minutes before someone calling her regarding something. He was a bit irritated not being able to see her or his little kittens. He convinced himself saying 'just a week left'.

On the morning of engagement party, Lucy and the gang was busy with checking everything regarding the ceremony. A car parked in the mansion's parking area and a man with a flower bouquet came out of the car.

He walked straight to the garden and Lucy was there, in an one piece up to her knees. The sunlight made her mild green colored gown look brighter. Her hair danced in the wind and she looked more cheerful as she talked with the organizer.

Reyan was the first one to notice the man in his brown suit smiling at Lucy, she whistled yearning her audience from everyone including Lucy. She pointed her chin towards the man while making eye contact with Lucy.

Lucy turned around and she chuckled a little as he waved at her. She excused herself from the organizer and went towards the man. She gave him a warm smile as she asked, "What are you doing here?"

He gave her the bouquet and said, "Just thought of seeing my girl". Lucy squinted her eyes and said, "Tin?" He c.a.r.e.s.sed her cheek, for which Lucy tilted her head in one direction as if asking him the real reason. He gave her a sheepish smile and said, "I can't make it to the engagement ceremony".

Her eyes became distant but she still kept a smile on her face, "A sudden important meeting which you can't miss?" Martin let out a sigh as he said, "Almost, but I have to leave town". She took a deep breath and said, "Fine".

Martin held her chin and made her look at him, he said with pleading eyes, "You know how much I want to be with you today. If you still feel like you want me here, I can make up something". She looked into his eyes for a minute, searching his sincerity and then she shook her head. She gave him an understanding smile and said, "It is really fine, be careful on your way..."

'Moreover if you really wanted to stay you wouldn't need my word for it', she thought in her mind. He gave her a smile and kissed her cheek. He said, "I would be here for the wedding, Damn sure!" She gave him a curt nod while a throat clearing sound was heard.

Both of them looked back to find Damien standing there with folded hands. Martin immediately greeted him and Damien replied. Amy and Reyan came along then the gang became rowdy as they chatted for a while.

Martin left after he had lunch with the entire family. Everything was set up properly and the whole garden of few acres has been turned into a sparkling place, pulled out from dreamland. All the girls were having manicure and pedicure in the balcony of the second floor.

Ria's was done first and it matched her engagement lehenga. She stood up and then sat up next to Lucy whose pedicure was on process. Lucy was talking and laughing with the others. Ria looked around to find her marshmallows asleep in the lounge, next to Ash's kid. Ash was watching over them.

On the other side, his lips curled up in response as he said, "Anna?" She replied, "Uh huh". And they chatted for while until Violet called him to get ready. There are few more hours before the start of the ceremony and she need a couple of hours to get ready.

Valerie came to check up on Ria and they went over the entire agenda once more. After making sure nothing was missed she stood up to leave. But Ria made sure that her mom received some attention from the beautician.

She turned her attention to Lucy who is now browsing through her phone. She asked Lucy as she placed one her shoulder, "Is it alright for you?" Lucy looked up at Ria in confusion and asked, "What is?"

Ria leaned back in her chair and said, "Martin". Lucy said as she looked down at her phone again, "He has work and I'm fine with it". Ria nodded her head and said as she looked at the garden, "No, you are not".

Lucy's lips curled up a little as she said, "Well, I can't do anything about it". Ria looked at Lucy and asked, "Do you love him?" Lucy's lifted her head up in a sudden motion with wide eyes. Ria's lips were in a pleasant smile but her eyes were serious.

Lucy looked around and everyone focused at anything but her which made it obvious that they were listening to them. Lucy let out a sigh and said, "I do". Ria's eyes bored into her's then she stood up and said before walking away, "No, you don't".
