"Queen Krelanzee, Are you looking for someone who could inherit the War Priestess Legacy?" Alex asked.

"The War Priestess Legacy is special to me, and only a worthy human shall inherit her legacy," Krelanzee replied.

"I am not getting any reward?" Alex asked after accepting the quest.

"You would get a reward when someone inherits the legacy. Right now, your reward is to leave this place alive." Krelanzee replied.

"I will mark this location with a teleportation marker so the legacy candidates can directly teleport here," Alex said as he took a scroll and used it to mark the location in front of the legacy tomb.

"Now, please complete your promise and tell the army outside not to kill me on-site after I leave this place," Alex asked, as he just wanted to leave this place.

"You could leave, and no one in my territory would attack you."

'She doesn't need to lie to me, so let's leave this place and search for the location of the blood basilisk.'

Alex left the underground area, and just as Krelanzee said, not a single golden frog tried to attack him, making the journey to the tree's entrance quick and easy.

'I would get killed after leaving the Golden Frog Habitat without my stealth, so let's wait for the skill cooldown to get over.'

Alex decided to wait close to the edge of the Golden Frog Habitat as he still needed to go to the swamp core area and find the blood basilisk location to complete the Duke's quest.

"Finally, the skill cooldown is over." After waiting more than three hours doing nothing but browsing the game forum, the stealth was ready for use.

"Let's find the Blood Basilisk and leave this swamp." Alex used his stealth skill and sprinted toward the swamp forest core area in the direction of the blood basilisk.

After running for two hours, going to different locations in the core area for a safety plan to protect him in case the Duke questioned how Alex luckily found the basilisk location without searching the forest.

After making sure to visit enough places to make his safety plan work, Alex reached his destination, a small hidden valley between two mountains with big trees and swamps covering the whole area.

"The Blood Basilisk should be somewhere in this valley."

The valley was not big, and after searching it for fifteen minutes, Alex found the creature resting in a small swamp hiding his whole body with only his giant spikey draconic head being the only part of his body visible.

'This Basilisk is way smaller than the calamity I remembered, but given enough time, this would turn into a calamity.' Alex thought after seeing the basilisk state.

'I should mark this place with a teleportation marker.' Alex left the Basilisk alone, and after reaching far enough distance from him, he used the teleportation marker.

'Now, the Duke could confirm my information quickly and give me the quest reward.'

'I should return to the city and complete the Duke's quest.' Alex left the area, and after reaching the valley's entrance, he used a return scroll, and within seconds, he got teleported outside the royal city.

'Money sure makes life more comfortable.' Alex thought, standing outside the royal city.

After entering the city, Alex walked straight toward Duke Harold's mansion to complete the quest and get his reward.

'I Hope Duke Harold can get me the entry into the private auction.' Alex thought about his little plan to get into the private auction held by the Duke of Gold kingdom.

Alex first wanted to ask guild Master Aster to help him get entry into the auction, but things didn't go as planned in the meeting, so he dropped the idea of asking her as it would only make his organization look weak.

After reaching the core area, Alex explained his reason for meeting with Duke Harold, and like last time a guard took him to the Duke's mansion.

"Adventurer, Explain your reason for coming to Duke Household?" A mansion guard asked Alex.

"My name is "Hidden One," and Duke Harold gave me an important quest that I am here to report the result," Alex replied as he tried to look for the guard he met last time to get the entry quickly.

"Duke mansion is closed to everyone today, and no outsiders can enter the mansion. You should leave and come back tomorrow." Alex heard a loud booming from his right side.

'The Guard Captain.' Alex thought after seeing the person telling him to leave.

"The Information is very important, and I believe Duke Harold would want to know about it as soon as possible," Alex replied.

"Adventure, you should leave as no outsiders are allowed to enter the mansion today." The guard captain replied, not budging from his decision.

'I know how to have a meeting with Duke.' Alex thought of using a little trick to meet with Duke Harold.

"I will leave but give my message to Duke Harold that Adventurer Hidden One has abandoned his request, and it's because you have stopped me from meeting with him," Alex said out loud so all the guards could hear him.

"Adventurer, you think I will get afraid of your little threat." The Guard captain replied with a mocking smile.

"I wish You good Luck finding the Blood Basilisk," Alex said and turned around to leave, but the guard captain stopped him.

"Adventurer, You do understand if you are lying, you will be heavily punished for capital crimes." The Guard captain said, standing face to face with Alex.

'He must be an Air Element user with this speed.' Alex thought as he saw the guard captain appearing in front of him out of thin air.

"You could ask Duke Harold if he thinks I am lying," Alex said with a blank expression.

'If I had got the quest from the adventurer guild, I wouldn't need to go through all this drama.'

"He left without asking any more questions." Alex thought, seeing the guard's captain vanishing from his sight.

"Adventurer, come with me. Duke Harold wants to meet you." The captain arrived after less than two minutes.

Alex followed the guard captain inside the mansion, and after couple minutes of walking, they reached a luxury room on the second floor.

The Guard captain knocked on the door, and a maid opened it, inviting the guard captain and Alex inside.

After Alex entered the room, he saw three people sitting on grand sofas, two of them being the Duke and his daughter, but Alex didn't recognize the third person.

After greeting Lady Esmeralda and Duke Harold, Alex took his seat but dint said anything about the Basilisk waiting for the Duke to ask.

"Mr.One, Did you discover any clues about the Blood Basilisk?" Lady Esmeralda eagerly asked with bright eyes.

'Duke Harold and Lady Esmeralda dint seem to mind this person hearing about the Blood Basilisk.' Alex thought, looking at the person sitting next to Duke Harold.

The man was handsome and wearing glorious armor, at least of Unique quality, and had the air of royalty around him.

'He looks like a Royal, but I don't recognize him, and with the aura of confidence and power around him and how he talks to Duke Harold, he could be Lady Esmeralda's fiancé.'

"Lady Esmeralda, I did find some clues, and after searching the forest, I found the Blood Basilisk resting in a valley," Alex replied, making it seem like he worked very hard to find the location.
