19 Chapter 19 Classes

Alex grabbed the VR helmet and wore it and a message appeared.

"What!!" Alex shouted.

Alex took off the helmet and looked at it, it wasn't broken, it wasn't even scratched, then why was it acting up.

Alex's phone dinged and he looked at it, it was a message from his building manager, he took his phone to read the text.

"Oh, so that's why" Alex sighed in relief as he closed the text.

The wifi password for their floor had been changed, apparently someone hacked the wifi so they had to change it.

Alex used the new wifi password and connected the VR helmet and wore the helmet again.

Alex appeared inside the house where he logged out yesterday, he looked around and saw Gabriel laying on the bed with his hands behind his head.

"How long have you been waiting?" Alex asked.

"Yo Alex, you are finally here, did something happen to you and Max"

"I slept off and my wifi password was changed, Max Isn't here yet?"

"No, I got here like 10 minutes ago, I've been looking through the game information it's really fun," Gabriel said.

A blue light appeared close to them and Max formed out of thin air, he looked back and saw the two of them staring at him.

"Is something wrong?" Max asked.

"You are late"

"I'm sorry, I had an issue at home"

"Before we go, I have no idea which class you belong to?" Alex asked Max.

"That's right you haven't told us yet, since you have more information about the game, what class did you select"

"All classes are good except the support class, but that's also good if you fight in groups," Max said.

"How is the support class good, no one would choose that because they can't deal a finishing blow," Gabriel said.

"Well that's what you think, but there's is a way around that, normally only a player who deals the finishing blow obtains all the XP right?"

"But the support group obtains XP for participating in a fight. For example, if a healer uses a sword to slash a wolf and you kill the wolf, you won't obtain all the XP, some of it would go to the healer for the little damage he caused" Max explained.

"So you mean if a healer slashes a beast and runs away, and I end up killing the beast, some of the XP would go to that healer?"

"Yes exactly, but only if the beast is still affected by the wound, beast heal over time but if the injury is still there when you killed the beast, some of the XP goes to the healer"

"And again, the support class gains more XP for making kills than other classes"

"That's not fair, I should have chosen to be a healer or a medic" Gabriel shook his head.

"It doesn't matter what class you choose, all classes have their advantages and disadvantages"

"You still haven't told us yours" Alex chimed in.

"I'm a paladin," Max said.

"A paladin...is that even good, what's your special stats?" Gabriel asked.

"Defense...I told you all classes have disadvantages, you are stronger than me in real life right, but here you can beat me cause you're a mage" Max said making Gabriel to twitch a little.

"I can't beat you...should we give it a go" Gabriel said.

Alex chuckled a little and sat down on one of the chairs in the room, he wanted to stop them but he remembered that they can't kill each other so he enjoyed the show because it was funny.

"We are only level 2, I might actually kill you, and you would have to buy a new VR helmet again," Max said jokingly.

"You might actually kill me!!" Gabriel shouted and rushed towards Max.

Gabriel swung his right fist towards Max in anger, Max held up both of his arms and blocked Gabriel's punch like it was nothing.

"You can't beat me in hand combat, you're a mage" Max shouted but Gabriel was getting more pissed.

Gabriel swung his fists repeatedly but Max dodged all of them with minimal effort, then Max threw a punch.

Gabriel wanted to dodge the blow but to prove Max wrong so he raised his fists to block the attack.

The blow was so heavy that Gabriel couldn't stay on his feet, he staggered backward and fell to the ground.

"I told you, you can't win against me in hand combat"

"Why doesn't my hit push you backward?" Gabriel shouted.

"Because of my special stats defense, and besides you are a mage you don't have much strength except when it comes to magic"

"So if I shoot a spell at you, it would deal damage" Gabriel grinned.

"Woah, don't try that, I might actually die in the process...the thing is you are stronger than me when it comes to magic and long-range combat, but I'm stronger in close-range combat"

"When we leave the newbie village, I'm going to obtain a spell first" Gabriel smirked.

"Alex please tell Gabriel that I'm sorry, I was just explaining stuff to him, and besides if you kill me there would be no one to explain stuff like this to you" Max pleaded.

"Don't worry he's just joking or is he" Alex looked at Gabriel and smiled, immediately Gabriel smiled back making Max look at both of them repeatedly.

"So we're leaving now," Alex said.

"Shouldn't we change into our normal outfit, I don't know if those NPCs are still after me" Gabriel said.

"That's a good idea, and speaking of yesterday did anyone find anything valuable?" Max asked.

"I almost forgot, I found a powerful weapon yesterday, it's called Demon blade," Alex said as he took off the NPC clothes he was wearing.

"Really, what rank is it?" Max and Gabriel asked.

"I don't know, I should be able to check the rank now that it's in my inventory" Alex immediately opened his status screen and tapped on inventory.

"Huh!!" Alex's jaws dropped as he looked at the rank of the daggers.
