Rebecca was the only one not making an attempt to attack, the rest of them were sticking their heads to see but Rebecca just hid without doing anything and the Hitman was going for her first.

[Hey Max, Gabriel needs a distraction so he can shoot, I believe the one still in the tree is a marksman so he probably has one shot that's why he's careful, so you need to distract him] Alex messaged Max.

[I would probably get shot at, but I won't die because of my defense, so tell Gabriel to get ready]

"Hey Gabriel, get ready" Alex shouted, he was going after the Hitman but he wanted the marksman gone so he wouldn't be killed.

"Haa..." Max rushed out of the tree he was hiding and openly charged towards the marksman tree.

The marksman had no choice but to change aim towards Max and after he took a deep breath he fired a bullet. Max was running in a zig-zag while protecting his head but the marksman was precise and shot his stomach.

Max was pushed backward by the attack and he fell to the ground, he would have been killed if not for his armor and his defense as a paladin.

[Fireball]

After the loud bang, Gabriel moved away from the tree where he hid and stretched his hands toward where the marksman was and shot four fireball spells toward the marksman.

The fireballs hit the branches and one of them got the marksman spot on, the attacks immediately made him jump down from the trees and ran away.

Gabriel wasn't going to let him go and quickly chased after him, the marksman wasn't really planning on running away, he just needed time for his flintlock to reload so he can kill Gabriel.

The Hitman who was running from one tree to another while hiding heard a loud bang meaning his teammate had shot one of them, and the Hitman believed that the person was dead so he had one less person to worry about.

Alex used the opportunity of the attack and ran to Rebecca and both of them hid there while Alex watched the Hitman, Max had only 10HP left so he dragged himself and sat behind a tree waiting.

The marksman ran and saw Gabriel following him, there were only five seconds left before he could reload and he already had a bullet in his hand, the marksman turned around and pointed his gun at Gabriel.

Gabriel jumped behind a tree and stood there but the marksman didn't shoot, he just wanted to scare Gabriel and it worked, the marksman also hid behind a tree and reloaded his flintlock.

"A big mistake..." Gabriel mumbled as he touched the ground.

[Mud trap]

Gabriel's mud trap spell was easy to use, he just had to touch the ground and visualize where he wants to soften, and Gabriel knew the marksman was hiding behind the tree so he activated his trap there.

The marksman who had reloaded his gun was waiting for an opportunity while checking Gabriel immediately noticed that the ground was dragging his legs down, he quickly struggled to get out and Gabriel ran towards him.

[Fireball]

The marksman struggled to escape from the mud but before he could get out he saw a shadow in front of him, without wasting a second Gabriel launched series of fireballs till the marksman began to disintegrate.

"Finally..." Gabriel smiled as he grabbed the flintlock pistol of the marksman.

"Behind that tree is the girl, she hasn't attacked so she's probably not good at attacking, I just need two bullets to end her life or 1 bullet to the head" the Hitman mumbled as he got ready to attack.

The Hitman dashed towards where Rebecca was hiding but he collided with something and fell to the ground, Alex has dashed out earlier before the Hitman but both of them collided with each other and fell to the ground.

The Hitman quickly regained his composure and raised one of his guns but before he could fire Alex rushed him with his daggers.

*Bam!*

"Arrrgh..."

The Hitman fired a shot before Alex could attack him and it hit Alex in his stomach, the pain was unbearable making Alex lose control but he had no choice but to attack.

Alex sank both of his daggers in his opponent's lap, he was going for the neck or the stomach but the bullet made him lose control, the Hitman screamed as Alex stabbed him but he had one bullet left in his revolver.

*Click*

Before the Hitman could pull the trigger Alex removed his hands from his dagger and held the hand of the Hitman and raised it upward, he quickly removed his second dagger from the leg of the Hitman so he could strike again but a fist hit his face and he fell off.

The Hitman punched Alex and Alex fell off from his body and let go of his gun, before Alex could stand up another bullet was fired towards his back.

"Aarrgh..." Alex screamed but a second later the pain was gone and Alex stood up.

The Hitman had fired both of his bullets from his first revolver and had to wait ten seconds so he was looking for his second revolver on the ground and he found it.

The Hitman rushed towards the gun while Alex ran away towards Rebecca, his HP was down to [40HP] so another shot from the Hitman would end his life and he couldn't risk going after him so he ran.

"Rebecca heal me..." Alex shouted as he ran to her.

Rebecca was watching their battle from where she was but she couldn't do anything about it, she was neither strong physically nor had a weapon to attack with so she stayed put.

Alex reached where she was but the Hitman had found his second revolver and immediately fired a bullet towards Alex to end his life.
