"I didn't hear you, what did you say?" the girl asked despite hearing him.

"I say I'm...you know what forget it, I'm going to learn it anyway" Alex frowned his face and increased his steps.

"Wait...I said wait" the girl shouted as she ran after Alex.

Both of them arrived at the merchant shop, this time Alex chose the bigger merchant shop that was recorded on the map.

Naka dashed inside without waiting for Alex, a small line of three players was standing in front of the counter as the seller assessed the items in front of him. The player didn't even turn around to look at Alex as he joined the line.

"So what are you here to buy, how much do you have?" she asked.

"I have about 30,000 coins, though I'm not planning to spend all of it" Alex spoke.

In an instant all three players in the line turned around to look at him, even the seller stuck his head to look at Alex.

'Shit...I shouldn't have said that out loud'

"You shouldn't have said that out loud, but its fine none of them can come after us"

"You were the cause, why did you ask me such questions in the first place" Alex sneered.

"I thought you didn't have enough coins, I have 50,000 coins so I wanted to share with you but looks like you can take care of yourself" the girl shouted loudly.

Three more players who entered the store stood still in front of the door after hearing what the blond girl said.

"You are getting us in more trouble" Alex whispered.

"Yes and I'm doing it on purpose" she smiled.

"You want us to be targeted, why?"

"XP...or don't you want to level up?" she asked Alex.

"It's a bad idea coming here with you, six players now have their eyes on us, and we don't have any information about them, their class their weapons, nothing"

"Don't worry, both of us are skilled assassins so I'm sure we can pull through, and in case you haven't chosen your skill, I urge you to do that now, shadow camouflage" the girl told him.

"Buying right," the seller asked with a smile as he placed a piece of paper in front of Alex.

It was now their turn and the three players in line had gone out, and three different players were at their back, Alex already checked them out.

The three players who left were at levels 8, 8, and 9. The three who were left in the shop were all level 9, and none of them could compare to Alex and the blond girl who were level 17 and 21.

Alex looked at the paper handed to him by the seller, it had the names of different items that the merchant had in his shop, and most of them were at the back.

"He sells throwing knives," Alex told the blond girl.

"How much for one of your throwing knives, and mind you I can easily get them at the weapon shop"

"It's not much, just 200 coins each, they are new and of great design," the seller said.

"Show me a sample," she said and the merchant rushed through the back door.

"What's your name?" Alex asked.

"Huh...you are interested in me, too bad I'm not interested in you," the girl said and faced away.

"What are you talking about, I just asked for your name because 'Naka' sounds a bit weird, ohh I forgot you were a weirdo" Alex snorted.

"You are just trying to make yourself feel better, I'm Bridget by the way"

"I'm also not interested in you, and you were the one who approached me," Alex said.

"Here you go," the seller said as he brought a box of knives.

"These are all nice designs, hunting would be easier" Bridget smiled.

"I'll take 50 of these, how much?" she asked.

"That would be 10,000 coins"

"I'll take also take some, including this dagger, she's going to pay for it," Alex said and looked away before she could speak.

"Then add an extra 20 throwing knives with the dagger"

Bridget handed 20 of the throwing knives and the dagger to Alex and kept the remaining 50 pieces in her inventory as both of them walked outside of the merchant's shop.

"You do have a lot of money, my dagger is breaking apart so I need a new one, I didn't actually think you'll pay for it," Alex said with a smug smile.

"I'm feeling generous today, and handsome boys are my weakness," Bridget said.

"But you are also pretty, so why would you go through all the trouble for one handsome boy, when different boys would probably be interested in you"

A huge smile was on her face as Alex spoke, "I'm also pretty, so you like me" Bridget said cheekily.

"Pfff...I don't" Alex retorted.

"Enough of that, now let's go into the forest so those players can attack us" Bridget spoke.

"Which players, the ones that left or the ones still in the shop?"

"Don't make any sudden moves, the players who left earlier are watching us, it seems they called in more players" Bridget said.

"More, they know they can't take both of us at once so they are bringing in more help, then we should avoid them instead of going to where we can be attacked," Alex said.

"Let's just go, they are going to follow us around, I don't want stalkers following me around and I can't kill them in the city except it's night time"

"Then let's go to the forest, first how many enemies should we expect?"

"Around 10 or so, hey Alex stop wasting time let's go hunting with the knives we bought" Bridget shouted.

"Okay," Alex shouted back, "Is this part of the plan" he whispered.

"Yes, and stop standing close to me or I'll rip your clothes open and see what's underneath" Bridget snorted.

"You don't want to see that, your eyes wouldn't be able to comprehend the monster you would behold" Alex spoke with confidence.

"Maybe we should try it–in the real world not in here"

"Really, do you even know where I am?" Alex asked.

"You are on a train heading for Winterville Northfrost" Bridget replied and Alex stopped.

"How did you know, I don't remember telling you where I'm heading"

"I'm also on the train, that's how I found out, I'm going to see someone there, we should meet up" she smiled.

"I don't trust you, you are scheming something, why did you approach me?" Alex asked.

The two of them were already on their way to the forest and the group behind them was following them while keeping their distance so Alex and Bridget wouldn't find out.

"I already told you, I approached you because I like handsome boys and I haven't seen someone as handsome as you in years, you make my body all tinglingly"

"You are really weird, I just hope you have a good plan to get us out of the mess we are going to face when we get to the forest," Alex said.

"Have you chosen your skill, it's going to help you, the forest is covered with large tall growing trees so most of the forest would be dark"

"We'll use that to our advantage, I hope you know how to use your daggers right?"

"If I didn't I won't be at level 17" Alex sneered at her.

"Okay, that's the plan, we blend in the darkness and pick them off one after the other, how are your other stats, your speed, and stealth?" Bridget asked.

"Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself" Alex said.

"I'm trying to protect your handsome face, anyway just stick close to me so you won't get killed," she said.

"Are you even that good, I hope you are as skilled as you are at giving orders"

"So let's take about the other thing before we get to the forest" Bridget stared at Alex's face intensely.

"Why are you staring at me that way, and what other thing do we need to talk about"

"Sex..."

*Cough*

"You look so cute when you are flustered, I can't wait to..."

"Stop...how can you say things like that openly" Alex shook his head.

"Ohh, so you want us to talk about it in private" Bridget smiled.
