Multi Space Wanderer

*POV Maege Mormont*

Those damned Ironborns once again showed their true colors. They started another war and even dared to call themselves as King. When they declared war King Robert asked Eddard Stark to participate in this war, so he called all his banners which are under house Stark to come and aid in this war. And as house Stark's banner-man we have to answer their summon. So as the current leader of house Mormont i dispatched most of our army under the command of my elder daughter to the war, except for some of them to keep guard in the absence of main army.

It has been a week since they went towards the twins to join the army of king Robert and in my idea the war has already begun there. I just wish that we don't get too many causalities. As our house was very weak in the north and our numbers are also very low. So this whole time i prayed to the gods to keep them safe.

But i think the gods had other plans for us. Because at this moment my second daughter Alysane Mormant, came and told me that a fleet of Iron borns consisting of about fifty ships is sailing towards our coast. This news rang in my ears just as thunder.

Without our army, the Bear island is as good as finished if the fleet of Iron Islands reached our shores then only a miracle can save our home. But we are proud bears we do not run away from our enemy.

"Alysane go prepare as many people as you can to the fight." I ordered My second born daughter.

"But mother we don't have the numbers." Alysane told me very seriously. "I know that but we are bears all of us are warriors and can fight and we will fight. Go and tell our people that a very hard time is upon us so we need to stand now." I told Dacy, got my sword and rushed towards the shores.

We prepared our formation on the shores and waited for iron fleet to come to our shores. Because we didn't have any means for sea battle. But when we saw the number of Ironborns i knew that we can't win an army of almost six thousand people with our pitiful numbers which counted in hundreds. Although we are brave but somethings just cannot be achieved by only bravery.

I overcame with anxiety, first i thought that it was a two pronged attack from the iron borns but when i saw the banner of House Stark with those riders i overcame with joy. And i thought that 'maybe it is not our last day after-all.'

When i was musing over these thoughts i heard an immature but full of confidence voice who told us to " FALL BACK."

Me and my army of two thousand strong, rushed very fast towards bear islands. Due to the map function i can accuratly see the movement of my enemies. And from that i knew that if we didn't rush there we will be too late.

And at the exact time when the war was going to start we arrived at the battle ground. And the first thing was the order i gave the house mormant was to retreat because from the first glance i could see that most of the people in house mormont army were commoners.

So after i ordered for their retreat i also ordered katakuri to charge at the scum of society, the iron borns. And after which my army fired a rain of arrows on the iron borns. And they strictly followed the rule of 'One arrow for One life'. And after only the first rain of arrows almost two thousand invaders were lying in their own pool of blood.

After which my 'clippers' as i like to call my army put aside their bows and dived head fast into the enemy lines, and then a massacre happened.

While my clippers rushed to the enemies i stopped with Maege Mormont and said "Good! it seems like i was not late." Lady Maege and her two daughters Alysane, Lyra Mormont suspiciously looked towards me and the Lady Maege asked me "Who are you?" well that was the most important question i guess.

"Lady Maege i am Zack Stark and the current lord of Moat Cailin. The second son of Eddard Stark." I answered her.

"You are the genius Zack Stark who is known of his excellent brain?" This time to ask the question was Alysane. "Well i think i am the only Zack Stark in the north." I replied to her in an amused voice.

"How can that be he is only nine name days old. And you looks like the same age as me." This time it was Lady Maege's third daughter Lyra who was thirteen names day. It cannot be helped, i do look a lot older than my real age in this world.

"Well we can discuss about my age after we kill every last one of those iron borns. But for now you should retreat." I told them and was ready to ride off towards the invaders when i heard an angry voice of Lady Maege. "Do you think we are some kind of cowards who will run away from an enemy? We are bears and bears are no cowards." 'Impressive' i thought. .

"Forgive me my lady if i offended you. And i know that house Mormont does not give birth to cowards. But you should think about your people. They are just common people. In this scale of war they won't be helpful instead they will just lose their life in vain. And who stopped you from joining the fun, but first you need to make your people retreat." I told the female bear.

And hearing me her anger also disappeared from her face. "OK Lyra help our people to retreat. Me and Alysane will be joining this little lord." She told her daughter and then looked towards me.

I smiled and nudged 'typhone' to start running towards the invaders while saying to mother and daughter pair " Don't fall too behind." Alysane seemed irritated with my statement and rode towards the invaders while muttering under her breath "Cheeky Brat."

*Alysane POV*

after muttering "cheeky Brat" i also rode towards the iron borns along with my mother while keeping my eyes on Zack Stark.

i have heard many stories about him. About his genius, his intelligence, but non of the stories told me about his martial ability. I didn't think that he will be as gifted in fights as he is gifted in intelligence department, but i was wrong by a huge margin. He was like a death god. Wherever he went on the battlefield while wielding his two long swords he left the road with countless dead bodies. He danced around the battlefield like he was born for war.

Not just him but all the members of his army were also amazing. If he was the death god then his army was like Valkyries who descended the mortal world just to cleanse the filth of this world.

Only one word was ringing in my head at this time which was "Unbelievable".

The fight didn't take long. It ended within an hour after our clash. After so many years i actually enjoyed myself. We didn't leave a single iron born alive. Even the ones who were on the ships were beheaded. And now i was sitting with lady Maege and her daughters in their ȧssembly haul. while my clippers as well as the people of house moment were cleaning the battle field by burning the bodies of iron borns and taking the inventory of all the available weapons as well as armors taken from the iron borns.

"I didn't knew that our north gave birth to such a monster such as yourself Lord Zack. Not only the intelligence but you are also a monster when it comes to fighting." Lady Maege said while i can hear a hint of admiration from her eyes. When she said that her daughters were also nodding with a face that said 'Right! he is a monster among monsters.'

I was amused by their reaction so i wanted to humor with them. "ha~ what can i say i am just that amazing. Sometime i really can't help but be afraid of my own awesomeness." I sighed like i really couldn't fathom as to how awesome i was.

After i said that, the look on their faces was just amazing. I couldn't help but laugh. "Haha. Well jokes aside the other purpose of my visit was to have a trade relation with you." i told them my other purpose for coming here. It was not that i wanted anything from them but i wanted to help their family. And the reason for that was because i quite liked their family.

"My Lord Its not that we don't want to do trade but as you should know that our house Mormont is in a very bad condition right now. We are extremely poor. Even feeding our people is becoming very difficult for us. And there is nothing which we can trade for food or other necessities." Lady Maege said in a very frustrated voice, filled with helplesness.

Well i already thought about it, before coming here so i propose. "Lady Maege! you are very much wrong. You can also become very rich due to one of your products. And only the bear island produces it in the most abundant quantity." I told her with a smile.

I saw her look of realization, but a wry smile appeared on her lips. "You are talking about Honey right. While i admit that it is the only thing on our island which is in abundance, but it is useless for us. And there is no demand of it in any other areas."

"That is why i am here. The demand of raw honey may be very much less but if you convert honey into other things they will be very much appreciated in the trade market." I again told her.

"What kind of things are you talking about." Maege asked me with a voice full of hope. She really was desperate to improve island bear's living condition. "You can make many things from honey like honey cakes, pastries, and the most important one is honey wine. Which will be as much popular as our fruit wines. And don't worry i can provide you with people who can teach your people how to make these products." I told her my well thought out plan.

"It is a very good offer. But i want to know that why are you helping our Mormont family. What is it that you really want. Because from a very young age i have learnt that there is no free lunch in this world." She looked towards me very seriously. "If i say that the only thing which i want from you is friendship, will you believe me." I told her seriously while looking in her eyes.

For a full minute Lady Maege tried to find some falsehood in my eyes but after finding none she smiled and extended her hand towards me and said "Friends?" I also smiled towards her and shook her hand and said " Friends."

After this her behavior towards me totally changed. She started treating me like i am her own pack member. This is what i appreciated about she bears totally forward, just like brave bear.

After discussing with her about the making of honey items and the trading routes, i decided that it was time to return to my own turf. So i motioned towards katakuri who was standing by our side refusing to sit with us. He went outside and after some time he came back with a wooden long box which he presented lady Maege.

Alysane then asked me "What is it Zack?" I only smiled towards her and motioned towards Lady Maege to open the box. She curiously opened the box and what layed in it was a double edged broad sword. This sword was prepared for Lady Maege before hand. The swords blade was extremely sharp while on her blade a roaring bear was carved in red. While its hilt was also made in the shape of bear and its name was written on it which was 'Ferocious'.

When they saw that blade they were dumbstruck by the sheer beauty of it.

After some time when they came to their senses Lady Maege looked towards me and then towards the blade. After some time she sighed and asked me about the blade. I was very much happy that she didn't refuse my gift. This shows that she doesn't consider me as an outsider.

"This Sword is made by a material which is the strongest metal in the world adamentine. It is even stronger than valerian steel and it can easily cut any valerian sword." I told her about the material of this sword.

After which i ordered katakuri to ȧssemble our clippers so that we can return to Moat Cailin.. Lady Maege insisted for me to stay longer but i had many plans to process so as soon as clippers were ready we directly rode towards our home.
