As an old driver, the written test is naturally easy to pass, and the Permit is obtained, which is equivalent to a temporary domestic driver's license.

The entire exam process, including vision testing, etc., only cost $20, which is not very expensive.

With this temporary driver's license, you can start buying car insurance, and you can drive on the road accompanied by a licensee with a legal official driver's license and a driving experience of more than 3 years, regardless of driving areas or roads.

But getting this step is not complete.

Temporary driver's license is valid for 1 year, and this period is actually for you to practice training.

There are 3 road test opportunities in one year, and you can exchange for a formal driver's license if you pass the test.

The US road test does not provide test cars, you need to bring your own car to take the test.

Because it is a novice, and it is a temporary driver's license, so I have to be accompanied by an old driver on the road.

Americans are generally taught to drive by their families, so they don't need a driving school.

International students are different. Those who are unfamiliar in the United States have fewer family and friends. Most of them will honestly find a driving school and spend more than ten dollars an hour to find a coach to accompany them to practice driving.
