My Boss Is My Ex-lover

Nana is feeding Jian.

She always do this for him, though Jian can manage to do this on his own but Nana still insisted.

Jian stared at Nana who is blowing to cool the food for him.

Nana notice Jian staring at her.

Nana stopped blowing the food in the spoon and ask," Why?"

"I haven't thanked you, yet!" Jian replied.

"Thank me, for what?" She asked again.

"For not leaving me." Jian said.

Nana put down the spoon.

"You don't need to thank me, because it was my decision. I did not leave because I love you." She replied.

"But, how about your dreams? " Jian asked.

"Huh?!" Nana knitted her brows, as if she didn't understand what Jian said.

"I heard that the famous designer Mr. Louise invited you to be his apprentice."

"Oh!" Nana is almost speechless.

It took her a few seconds before she reply.

"I can still pursue my dreams even if I am not his apprentice."

Nana shook her head.

"Is it because of me? Because I am not well yet?"

"Jian, I want to stay beside you, as long as I live." Nana did not answer Jian's question.

Jian held Nana's hand.

" But I don't want to stop you from reaching your dreams."

"Jian..." Nana was so touched by Jian's sincerity.

" I will support you whatever decisions you made. Don't stop reaching your dreams because of me, Nana."

"But I can't leave in this state. You have not fully recovered , yet!" Nana said.

"Don't worry about me. I will be alright!" Jian insisted.

Jian notice Nana's doubtful expression.

"Nana, this is a big opportunity for you. Don't waste this chance." Jian cheered her up!

"Thank you..." Nana suddenly said.

"What for?" Jian asked.

"Thank you for showing your support to me and for cheering me up." Nana replied.

"Uh," Jian leaned his back on the chair.

"Why?" Nana thought that Jian might be hurt somewhere.

"I am such a cool boyfriend! " Jian praised his self.

"Hey, Nana!" Jian look at Nana.

" Tsss... " Nana scoffed.

"Of course not! There is only one person here." Nana pointed her c.h.e.s.t.

Jian's expression become serious again.

"When are you leaving?" He asked.

"Actually, Mr. Louise called me the other day. He asked me if I am still interested to become his apprentice, and if I am interested, I can fly to New York anytime I want." Nana replied.

"Oh!" Jian blurted out!

"How long will you stay there?" He asked again.

"One year." Nana replied.

Jian nodded his head.

Nana lifted her hand , "I promise!" She said.

The next week...

Jian sent Nana to the airport.

Secretary Wen was the one who drive the car.

"We're here!" Jian said with a smile on his face, but the truth is , he is just trying to hide the sadness that he feel inside.

Nana get down from the car, Secretary Wen took Nana's luggage at the compartment.

"I-I'm leaving..." Nana said.

"Ennn..." Jian nodded.

"Ennn...'' Jian nodded again.

The smile on his face did not fade.

Nana took a deep breath.

"I love you..." She said to Jian.

Jian embraced Nana tightly, and then he slowly freed her from his embrace, " Oh! I already missed you," Jian said.

"Go! Before I change my mind and stop you from leaving." Jian joked.

Nana tiptoed and kissed Jian on his lips.

" I'll be back after one year." Nana said.

Nana turned and took her luggage from Secretary Wen, " Please be careful on driving, Mr.Wen." she said to Secretary Wen before she head to the entrance.

Before she totally entered the entrace, her footstep stopped and she turn to Jian.

She waved her hand to him.

Jian waved back to her.

After waving goodbye to each other, Nana continue to walk towards the entrance.

On the way back home, Jian stopped in a jewelry shop before secretary Wen sent him home.

Nana is busy since she arrived in New York, but she still find a way to call Jian and talk to him.

Shanghai's time is 12 hours ahead of New York.

Jian will always wait for Nana's free time.

He always wait for her call.

This is so much sacrifice for Jian, but he didn't even complain even if she called him at 12 am.

The distance between them, isn't a hindrance, instead, it made their love grow stronger!

Jian is a busy man, but he's willing to wait for Nana's call even if it is late at night or early in the morning.
