"It turns out. It's just 500 gil." Soarsie breathed easy. "You must have heard wrong."

"Yeah." I lied. "I was panicking and didn't know what to do."

"Couldn't blame you. We suddenly found ourselves in this game-like world without warning, and now, instead of customers, we're going to fight monsters."

Despite our situation, Soarsie managed a laugh. It was reassuring to see her smile again. At least, it made me feel that everything would be alright as long as we were together.
