My Female Prince

Three years passed since Prince Ling came into rule as the next Crown Prince.

Two years after, the current Emperor had passed and Prince Ling rose up to be the Emperor.

Under his rule, Han prospered and the amount of production increased by a great amount. Peasants and the working class were able to afford and find food and resources while still paying a reasonable tax and from time to time, Prince Ling would go and visit a few villages and give them food more then money as food was more valuable.

No longer did the people suffer as much as they did before and everywhere they praised the Emperor of his benevolence and willingness to listen to the troubles of the common folk.

Back in Suo, the two twins had grown up and turned five, causing troubles wherever they went.

Mei'er and Yue Qi had gotten married and were currently expecting their first child.

Standing outside, Xiao Jun smiled as she watched Yifeng and Liying play with Yu Yan, the trio running around.

She looked up and then let out a little laugh.

Brother Xiao Liu, if only you were still here.. it'd be much more lively.

She wasn't upset anymore, just a little curious what it would be like if he was still here and alive.

But thank you for watching over us from your position up in the sky.

"What are you thinking about?" A voice came from behind her.

She placed her hands over his and shook her head lightly, "Just dwelling a little in some past memories, nothing much. How was the investigation? Did anything come from it?"

"Many things came out from it, but for now, let's focus on us." Yun Long hummed.

Xiao Jun smiled and then pulled away, calling for the twins to come over.

"Be good and stay with Big Sister Ying, Alright? Make sure Yu Yan doesn't feel left out." Xiao Jun asked, the two twins nodded and giggled before running off to Ying, who stood to the side.

[By the way, Ying was that 13 year old maid from before that Xiao Jun had picked up from a slave trafficker. She's a minor character. She's now around 18.]

Ying smiled and curtsied before picking up Yu Yan and leading the twins to the garden.

Confused, Yun Long looked at his wife, whom wore the traditional attire of Suo.

Xiao Jun came back over and grabbed his hand before walking inside and shutting the doors, telling the servants to leave and to not let anyone in for the next few hours.

"Long'er~ it's been a while since you've seen your shameless wife."

"Come~ Come be with this shameless wife."

Yun Long chuckled and a little fire ignited in his c.h.e.s.t.

"Alright, don't blame me for not holding back."

He went to her and let down the curtains before kissing her again and his hands wandered up to the clasps that held her dress together.

"Little Prince! Little Princess! Don't run! Slow down!" Ying exclaimed, she grew breathless as she tried to keep up with Yifeng and Liying while holding Yu Yan.

Liying stopped in her tracks, looking up and exclaiming happily when she saw the numerous flower petals falling from the flower blossom trees.

"So pretty!"

Ying smiled and caught her breath before letting Yu Yan down.

"Just like you and Little Princess Yu Yan."

"Auntie Mei! Uncle Qi!" Yifeng yelled, Liying looked up and her face broke into a big smile again as she walked over with Yu Yan.

"Auntie! Baby?" Liying asked, her small hand touching Mei'er's stomach.

"Not yet, soon you'll see a baby. All three of you will get another playmate soon." Mei'er smiled.

"Where is Madam Feng and Commander Yun Long?" Yue Qi asked.

Ying just smiled and said, "No one is to disturb them for a few hours."

Yue Qi's ears reddened and Mei'er let out a giggle.

"Big Sister is still her shameless self. Yue Qi, let's take these three with us for a while." Mei'er said, she took Liying's hand that was holding Yu Yan's and Yifeng just held her other hand.

"O-oh, Alright. Ying, come with us as well." Yue Qi quickly nodded and walked to follow Mei'er as Ying curtsied and followed from a distance.

Xiao Jun laid next to Yun Long, brushing the hair in his face away, before getting up and putting her robes around herself again before opening the doors and calling for a few maids.

The maids nodded and one asked, "Is there anything that Princess needs to be added into the water?"

"No need, just put your usual flower petals." Xiao Jun shook her head and sent them off.

She closed the doors and went to the bed.

"Yun Long, I know you're awake." Xiao Jun chuckled and poked the others cheek.

She exclaimed in surprise and laughed when he grabbed her and pulled her into his embrace.

"Seems like I can't hide anything from my shameless wife." He chuckled.

Xiao Jun hummed and then sat up again, grabbing Yun Long's robes.

"Get up, it should be afternoon now and our troublemakers must be bored."

Yun Long got up and let Xiao Jun help him with his robe before he gave her a small kiss.

"Alright, we will go on our own. Leave."

Xiao Jun pulled away with a smile as Yun Long followed her into the bathing room.

"You, you have your own." she laughed.

Yun Long gave her a back hug, "Why can't I just take one with you?"

"If you take one with me...it won't be bathing." Xiao Jun clicked her tongue and turned to pinch his cheek.

Yun Long frowned and then pulled away, "Fine, I'll go take my bath."

"Good~ Go get dressed afterwards and see where our little ones have run off to."

Yun Long nodded and went into the next door room.

Cleaning up herself, Xiao Jun got out afterwards and dried herself off with the towel before slipping on her u.n.d.e.r.g.a.r.m.e.n.ts and going to put on her dress.

"I'll wait for you outside, come out when you're done and we'll go together." Yun Long said.

She nodded and watched as he left the room before she got dressed, doing her hair as well, before walking out.

"I'll never get tired of seeing you in your Suo's traditional attire. You're so beautiful in it." Yun Long complimented.

Xiao Jun gave his cheek a kiss, "Thank you, you look handsome in our Suo's traditional attire as well. Much better then when you wore Han's clothing."

Walking through the palace, they passed through the garden and no one was there except for the servants.

"Maybe they're with Mei'er and Yue Qi." Yun Long said.

Going over to Mei'er and Yue Qi's quarters, they heard giggles and running.

Xiao Jun stepped inside and she heard a yell of, "Mom!"

Two figures ran towards her and she was almost pushed down.

She laughed and crouched down to see two dirty children.

"Heavens! What have you two been doing?" She brushed off their clothes and wiped their faces with her handkerchief.

"Sorry, Big Sister, they've been running around in the garden and in the dirt." Mei'er said.

Xiao Jun laughed again and shook her head, "They're my children, it seems they've inherited my wild personality. Don't worry."

Everyone around them laughed at the two naughty twins and Yu Yan clapped.

That night, while all the children were asleep, the couples had a time for themselves outside.

Tea and wine was served and there was many laughs.

Time had gone by and with time, they had all learned new things and had faced different obstacles, some more then others.

The "Prince" was no longer a "Prince" and now had two lovely troublemakers as well as a husband that was just as lovely, just a little cold.

Feng Xiao Jun just laughed to herself softly as she gazed up into the night sky.

Looking up, she thought:

"Brother Xiao Liu, Thank you for always watching us from afar."
