My Instant Marriage

Young-soo called the room service over the room's phone to clean the messes in the room. In a few minutes the female hotel housekeeping came to clean the room, and Young-soo went to the balcony of the suit room. Once the housekeeping left the room Young-soo rested his body on the bed and murmured in a low voice, 'oh! God, what's wrong with this woman? She thinks that she is brave enough to do anything in her mind but she just faint or cry in front of me. Huh! I don't know how I'm going to run my life with her.'

While in the bathroom Eunbi stood in front of the mirror and stared at her face; it looks so tired, and swollen. She opened the water tap and let the water to flow she gathered some water in her palms, and splashed it over her face. She zipped the dress, and decided to spend the night in the bathroom. She sat down in the empty bathtub by hugging her knees, and laid her head upon them. Tears fell from her eyes, as she looked at the wedding ring on her finger; she slides the ring off of her finger and threw it on the floor with rage. 'Why did I make a hasty decision to agree to marry him? I don't know how I'm going to lead my life with him.' She wiped the tears off of her face, 'Eonni, you are the only reason for this marriage, I'll never forgive you.' She said to herself, leaned her back against the bathtub, and closed her eyes.

Young-soo woke up as usual at 6.30 am in the morning and stared at the empty side of the bed. He sat down by leaning his back against the bed-rest, rubbed his eyes with his palms, stifled a yawn, and stretched his body by lifting his hands together high above his head. He gazed at the couch with a thought that she must be sleeping on the couch but she was not there too, so he wondered, 'where did she go early in the morning without informing to me?' He got down from the bed, walked towards the restroom, and twisted the bathroom door knob to open it, but it was locked from the other side of the door so he couldn't open it. He knocked the door and waited, as there was no response came from her, he shouted, "Eunbi, come out quickly I want to use the bathroom."

While in the bathroom Eunbi was sleeping in the bathtub. As she heard the knocking sound of the door, she was startled awake and looked around the surrounding and then realized that it was not her room, it's a hotel's bathroom. And as she heard Young-soo's voice from the other side of the door she quickly gets up from the bathtub, opened the door, and came out.

He gazed at her from head to toe- her hair was disheveled, and her wedding dress was completely crumpled. "What were you doing inside the bathroom for such a long time without responding my question?" he asked, and entered in the bathroom in hurry by slamming the door.

She walked near to the couch and sat down on it.

When he came out of the bathroom he looked at her by drying his face with the help of the towel, she was sleeping on the couch in a sitting position, he cleared his throat to draw her attention, "ahem…ahem." She opened her eyes with a jolt and rubbed her eyes gently with her fingers.

"Where did you sleep last night?" he asked her.

She got down from the couch looked at him and said, "I slept in the bathroom."

"What are you serious?" he asked her and shook his head in annoyance. "Now go freshen up, I'll order some coffee to drink."

Without uttering a word she went to the bathroom to freshen up.

Then he ordered two cups of coffee and some warm water through the telephone in the room. He made a call to his secretary asked him to bring their dresses and accessories to his room. When the orders are delivered to his room he waited for her to join him, but it has been more than a twenty minute yet she hasn't come out of the bathroom. He walked near to the bathroom, knocked the door, "Are you going to spend all day in there? Come out quickly let's have a cup of coffee." However, he didn't get any reply from her, he was annoyed with her, and knocked the door harder, "do you hear me, please say something at-least for the God sake, Eunbi?"

Eunbi's heart skipped a beat as he knocked the door harder. She was scared to go out, but she can't stay inside the bathroom for all day she has to get away at one point. She knew that if she continues to lock herself inside the bathroom like a fool nothing is going to change, so she decided to be brave in front of him and smack his face off if he tries to take advantages from her. She took a deep breath, mustered up her courage, and replied, "I'll come in a few minutes." Then she quickly washed her face with some plain water and opened the door of the bathroom.

There she was startled to see him stood by the door with his hands on his h.i.p.s. "Finish doing your bushiness in the bathroom?" he asked her.

She nodded her head by tugging the few strands of her hair at the back of her ears.

He walked to the dining table pulled out a chair and sat down. He gazed back at her, as she was still standing next to the bathroom he asked her, "Why are you standing there come join with me let's have a cup of coffee."

Eunbi nodded her head and served herself a cup of coffee.

He stirred the coffee in the cup with the help of the teaspoon, held the cup in his hand, smelled the aroma, and took a sip. While drinking the coffee he gazed at her face, "you are looking so weak as if you were discharged from the hospital." He commented and placed the coffee cup on the table, "after having the coffee go get ready we are going to my home."

She did serve herself a cup of coffee, had a sip of coffee, and nodded her head.

He asked her to wear some make-up on her face to look bright in front of his parent. He informed her that her dress and accessories are in the mini trolley bag which was next to the TV unit. Then he took out her wedding ring from his shorts pocket, placed it on the table, and moved it towards her side. "I found this in the bathroom," he took another sip of the coffee and continued, "From this moment I would like to make one thing clear to you that, you have to wear this ring even if you don't like to slide this ring on your finger, and you have no other choice because now you are a married woman."

'Oh yes, now I'm your caged bird but I know how to get away from you cage.' She thought to herself, took the ring from the table, and slides it on her ring finger.

After that, first Young-soo got ready and waited for her to get ready. He waited patiently on the couch by reading some magazines, once Eunbi got dressed up she said, "I'm ready shall we move?"

"Yup," he replied and glanced at her from head to toe, and for a few seconds he was stunned by admiring her beauty. She look so beautiful in the dim blue floral printed midi dress with v neck along with waist tie and butterfly frill sleeves. In addition, the makeup on her face was flawless; she looked so gorgeous, thus he couldn't take off of his eye of her.

She was confused and unable to predict the way he looked at her without waving his eyes. "Is there something on my face?" She asked him.

Young-soo stopped admiring her beauty and answered, "No there is nothing on your face come on let's move now." He said and called his secretary Jaemin through the phone and asked him to bring his car to the entrance of the hotel. When they reach the entrance of the hotel Young-soo's personal chauffeur was already waiting for him in the car at the entrance. The couple gets into the back passenger seats of the car the chauffeur started the engine and drove the car to Young-soo's home.

The car ride was occupied with a silence. Eunbi looked so bored, she kept on yawning, as she didn't sleep well last night, she fall asleep soon and rested her head softly on the headrest.
