My Last Hunt

The scenario was perfect for the action. Qiao held on to loyal monster and commanded the stones to release needed aura. The enemy stone was behind him.

They were rushing toward the ground at sonic speed. Because of his control over the energy the stones under his command did not let loose the aura for anyone to detect it.

This was the reason that enemy stone could not detect the attack. Lam took sharp turn right from slamming against the ground. Now the path was clear for attack. Lam gave stable flight in next few moments so that master could control the attack.

Qiao moved his hands in the air and hidden stone came chasing the enemy stone. It was sudden and unexpected.

The stones did not want to disappoint master. They used their maximum stored energy to surround and blast the enemy.

The enemy stone was surrounded in the blink of an eye. Rumble was clueless what was happening in the battle because he was not the one controlling his stone instead the stone was using self-made commands.

By the time he felt something amiss it was too late. The loyal stones crushed the stronger stone forcefully. It could have survived if it had been following the orders of some master nonetheless the stone was arrogant to submit to any hunter.

It was staying with Rumble because of their deal. Qiao finished up the first enemy. Rumble felt the meaningful silence. He fled toward where the stone was chasing. There huge wave of blast occured and Qiao appeared with his monster.

Rumble rushed to see what happened with the stone however he could not find its aura anymore. "You destroyed stronger level eight stone? Do you know it was going to cross Requiem state? Do you know what it means for a stone to reach that state?" Rumble blankly asked Qiao.

Qiao casted a glance at him and his beast. He spoke, "I cannot bother to search bio-data of my enemy, only if you know what is bio-data. However you do not need to make search for it. Since you are enemy you will meet same end." Qiao shook his shoulders indifferently.

He would eventually see what was Requiem state. He possessed loyal stones and one of them might reach that state one day. Rumble was tired of seeing similar attitude of this young hunter.

They never crossed paths with some one this caliber. In the wishful struggle to kill him Rucha and his beast got fatally injured.

Now his strongest stone was killed ruthlessly. It was sensitive moment for him to decide whether he wanted to battle or just leave. He did not care whether his old friend was near to death. His own life was on stake at this moment.

His decision could save it or destroy it. He did not want to spent rest of life crippled. Few hunters faced some fatal injury and get retired crippled. It was one of the worst truth however Rumble disliked it from the core of his heart.

He thought to immediately leave and spend retired life in some peaceful town. Rumble did not think twice also he just fled without looking at the ground where his friend was dying.

Qiao was not expecting Rumble to leave like it. It was strange that old buddies separated this way. He could not imagine. Qiao might have followed behind however he was unfamiliar with all continents. He did not want to get surrounded by evil beasts.

Although he sent his stone to check whether he enemy fled or hid for ambush. He looked at the ground. There the beast breathed last before master. Seeing that his friend left without rescuing him Rucha also stopped his struggle to sustain breath.

Qiao got rid both deadly enemies in a strange way. He was not as happy as he should be. Lam was happy. They survived tough battle. The earlier chaos subsided.

The Hightown must be glad to know this battle. They had been thinking to get rid Rucha and Rumble however could not force some hunter to face them.

They always hunt in pair. It was tough for single hunter to defeat or kill them. The Hightown was not ignorant about their recent disloyalty.

They Rank Masters were boiling with the rage. They were preparing to give this task to the young hunter as the test trials. It might have been oddest test trial ever however they could not help with it.

Qiao was ready to start the journey again. It would be tough to tame strongest beast. The signs were pointing that the war would start in another two months. It was the same time when Qiao would face the wicked hunter.

By chance of fate both events were closing in. The strongest beast could add advantage in his battle. He was also thinking to get some beast stones for future battles.

Qiao got familiar how he could use beast stones in his battle methods. He also wanted to know the reaction of the Rank Masters when he would return back to the Hightown.

He was working hard for Hunter King Test Trials. His battles were getting forceful and devastating for the enemies. The added energy of the stones could boast his strength further.

He wished that he could have given some time to hunt stronger monsters. This was only way to increase the level strength. He was stronger than the normal level eight Hunter however Qiao was not contented.

A tough and stronger body could control the force of stones. The commands should need the guidance of the master. Qiao did not want to appear vulnerable in front of stronger stones.

His intentions were clear. Qiao did not want to appear weak in front of wicked hunter. All efforts would go to waste if he fell in the last battle.

The last battle was life and death battle. Falling weak meant death and of course miserable death. He did not want to let this happen.
