Treasures and Snatchers: Level Three (part 4)

Zura was not expecting his opponent to be tricky. The wavy move along with the weird weapon both moved with a strong force against him. To be precise, it was evident that Qiao was well learned or sharp in context to face such brawls beforehand. Should he call him an equal opponent? Whatever it is, Zura could not digest this equality between a beggar and rich, so he furiously made a move only to end up failing. 

"If you have do not have the means to face someone, you shouldn't dream to take the hunt. You should know your arrogance is not going to make you win." Qiao voiced in a way which was enough to boil the blood of opponent. He was instigating him to lead him to make mistakes.

"You stop your loose tongue or else I will tell you what is real arrogance." And sure enough, Zura could not help but get riled up. he gritted his teeth and shouted back at Qiao. 

"Work hard, you rich brat or your father is going to regret having bred such a son." Qiao punched with one more trash nonsense. He felt it was easier when facing young chasers like him by making them lose their cool. And as expected he could see flaws in this guys moves now.

"There is only one thing and that is that the hunt won't be yours." Zura answered back. He was greatly annoyed at the words of this beggar. "Believe it or not, you are the one going to lose," with a direct attack after getting an opening, Zura was forced back and fell on the ground. 

He didn't stand up though as he was not injured much. He had decided to deal with this brat in a twisted manner. First, he would let him feast on the hunt for the time being. Later they would be tired and hurt after completing the hunt, when he would teach them a listen.

His team was not displeased to see that he intentionally gave up as they knew that treacherous mind of Zura was planning something else. 

Their team left soon after that. Quipu and the others were amazed how at skilfully Qiao defeated the arrogant chaser. But they could also tell something was wrong from the expression with which that had left right now. They could guess something was awaiting in the future. 

"Brother, we'll see them when they would come to bother us later. For now, this is your win." Linwin patted him on the shoulders. 

"Indeed, but the main problem right now is not their grudge but the fact that the monster might be more dangerous for our hunt. If any of you worked without collaboration or did not follow my orders it would turn to be extremely difficult. We are sure to lose and if perhaps if I remained alive I will definitely drag the one responsible for our loss toward the hell with me." Qiao strictly warned them especially the new team member who seemed to be indifferent. 

He was sent in this team only to make the team quarrel each other or intentionally let the monster harm them. If not so, he was to plan something cruder. Qiao was cautious against him.

The water started to ripple furiously in the lake because the monster was now coming on to the surface for breathing.

"Everyone get ready, if the monster happens to be more powerful than our expectations then we will leave in a hurry. Keep that in mind." 

They were not big hunters with sources or having high grade weapons so running for life was a choice they should avail in the time of trouble. Though he gave them option but inside his head there was no option for running for him. If he let himself fear this once then he should forget to save his younger brother. Fear cannot stop him nor the people who gave threat of grudges. He knew one day he would settle all those grudges and the people. 

The water splashed around when the monster appeared on surface. It was water type level three dragon with a shining pearl on its head. The only thing which was noticeable for all was the dragon's fast reaction to the hunters. It immediately dived in the water and swam to the depths of lake. 

The team saw this and speechlessly looked at each other. If the dragon was going to hide in the depths of lake how they were supposed to hunt it. Qiao was also thinking the same. 

"We can wait till the dragon comes at the surface for breathing again and then plan." Almost all such monsters of the water reach the surface of the water for many times a day to take breathing. That was true, even though dragon knew the hunters waiting there it still need air for life. 

"Till then get ready and be vigilant as we won't be having much chances." This specific water dragon comes at the surface every time after an hour or so they might not be having much chances. Moreover, the fast speed of dragon was also a challenge for them. 

"Sure, we'll put our full efforts." Linwin and Quipu both spoke in unison while the new team member only nodded. Qiao was starting to feel something off about this person as time passed. It seemed as though he was not here to help them hunt or become a member of their team but was instead seeking trouble. 

Linwin was also keeping eyes at him.

Finally, after waiting an hour, there were signs that the dragon was reaching to the surface. 

"Get ready." Qiao reminded. There was visible tension in them. They didn't know from which part of the lake the dragon would show up so they spread to be able to leave a single attack on it. 

They changed their positions.

Why Zura left was also a compelling fact that the hunters need to have at least an aqua pearl which was used by hunters for hunting water type monsters. It easily can let a hunter live under the water for at least half an hour. It was one of the rarest Stone and the water type monsters which could bear such stones were scarce, this was the reason that a special team of rich chasers was given this mission in their guild. 

Zura was waiting from afar for this team to end up in failure. Then he would not only hunt the monster but also that specific beggar who was audacious and ignorant.
