(Akane): "Because... I think I'm a Succubi."

My brain pauses for a moment when I heard that. You telling me she's a Succubi...

(Rin): "What do you mean by 'I think'?"

(Akane): "I'm just able to sense the charms they place on their targets. I'm an orphan so I don't know either of my parents but I assume either is a succubi or an incubi."

Akane shrugs her shoulders as she shakes her head when answering my question. An orphan, huh.

(Rin): "Wait than what's with your blood manipulation ability?"

I've pretty sure a S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s only has the ability to charm someone. A charm can have many effects like invoking a person's l.u.s.t or to give an illusion to a target. If what she says is true than her blood skill can't be from her Succubi side. Oh and if an Incubi has a daughter than she has a chance of becoming a S.u.c.c.u.b.u.s.

(Akane): "Beats me. I had doctors check up on me since I was young but they don't know themselves and I've been conscious of its abilities since I can remember. It probably has something to do with my other parent, making me mixed blooded demon."

She gives me her reason without caring much about it. I can't believe she's had it rough but it does sort of make sense considering her behaviours. I'd assume her bloodline has something that makes her become a battle maniac, huh.

But I can't imagine her parents being a low or mid level demon for her to be so powerful. I'd say she's equal to Shura in the manga in raw combat but with her blood that might change.

(Rin): "Wait, you said you sense the Charms. How?"

I couldn't sense them but Mephisto probably did. I really need to get pay back on the guy.

(Akane): "How should I say this... Its like a warning to other Succubi that you're already marked. I think it's something to do with claiming their prey and not wanting to have others take their prey."

Oh, that makes sense but why wasn't this covered in the Demon Guide I read? I can understand that they briefly explain the abilities of the Demons but a little more detail would've saved an Exorcist life!

I guess the education system is to be blamed, huh. But why keep this hidden?

(Rin): "Lets head back. I'm sure that you've missed curfew by now and you'll only get in trouble if you go now. Wanna come to my place?"

The dorm has a lot of spare rooms though they are a bit dusty, I'm sure she'll be fine sleeping in one of the rooms though one I clean them up a bit.

(Rin's and Akane's stomach): "Grrr."

Before Akane could answer, our stomachs did the talking. What's with this shounen cliche all of a sudden?

(Rin): "I guess that's a yes. By the way, how are you talking to me normally? You'd usually be nervous still and speak really softly again."

Usually after the Adrenaline loses its effects she'd go back to her shy self and hides but even after a while its she's still the same.

Did her androphobia suddenly get cured or something?

Akane looks at me in shock and talks.

(Akane): "Strange... I haven't had a conversation without hating a guy before."

I thought crossed in my head when she says that. You are a half succubi with Androphobia. How does that work?

(Rin): "Oh well. If it helps cure your androphobia then it's a good thing. Let's head to the dorm before anyone finds us here."

I guess I need to call Mephisto for repairing the park. He better not f.u.c.k.i.n.g send me on another mission or something.

We went to the nearest door before I inserted the dorm key into it and walked into the dormitory.

(Rin): "Hey Yukio. Did you get something to eat while I was gone?"

I walked to the cafeteria since I was a bit hungry and so was Akane.

(Yukio): "I already had something to eat with the other Teachers. Who do we have here?"

Yukio answers my question before questioning Akane presence. Hmm, they never met in Canon, did they? I wonder if this'll change the storyline if the club members interact with the Cram School students.

Hehehe, looks like I found something interesting. I know I shouldn't f.u.c.k up the storyline but it intrigues me to see how much the story changes if I do. It'll probably change the final outcome of the story if I do so.

(Rin): "This is Akane, a member of the Culture Club. She's staying over in one of the spare rooms if that's okay with you."

I just realised that this makes it seem like I got a girlfriend over or something. I wonder if he'll misunderstand?

(Yukio): " I see. Thank you for looking after my older brother."

Yukio gives a short bow as he says that. Haah, looks like I was right.

(Akane): "O-okay."

Akane quickly hides behind me when she says that. When did she get there? It looks like her androphobia sorta got cured? She's fine with me but not with others, huh.

What's with this Anime logic?

(Rin): "I'm gonna make something for us to eat. Want some?"

Yukio looks at me with a confused expression, probably thinking 'didn't you already eat with the girls after Cram school'?

(Yukio): "I'm alright, thank you. I just came here to get a bottle of mineral water."

Yukio says that as he walks out of the cafeteria. I wonder what Kuro and Midori are doing?

(Rin): "Well, I'll make something to eat. Sit down wherever you want."

Once Yukio leaves Akane quickly resumes to her original posture and sits down. I feel like this is gonna have a lot of headaches than worth. I have thoughts like these while I make a feast for a family. Two Demons should be enough to eat everything on the plate.

-After Rin and Akane finished their fight-

(Lilith): "Mistress, the charm seems to have warned off."

(L.u.s.t): "Tch, those useless Succubi can't even cast a decent emergency charm. And those Incubi's are just as useless"

An emergency charm is a charm that a Succubi cast when they are being threatened. It's used when they are endangered and want to give their murderers both regret for killing them and to give a waypoint for L.u.s.t to get revenge.

Though the revenge isn't out of familial love or anything but to reclaim some face and if the killer is a strong man, L.u.s.t will bed him to produce more Succubi and Incubi.

(L.u.s.t): "And you, I told you to being him here to me so why haven't you followed your orders~."

L.u.s.t was barely able to hide her anger at her daughters uselessness, though she manages to calm down and listen to her excuse.

(Lilith): "He was being followed by a half-Succubi. I believe it was 'her' daughter."

In an emotionless voice, Lilith replies, not caring about L.u.s.t cursing at her deceased sisters or brothers.

(L.u.s.t): "Oh~. Interesting~. So the wrenches daughter is still alive. Wonderful~. I'll make her suffer like her mother for stealing my prey~. Like mother like daughter~."

L.u.s.t felt an itching feeling after finally having some good news. She may not have gotten her hands on Rin yet but she can get her revenge on one of her daughters for stealing her prey.

(L.u.s.t): "Alright return back. I need you to deliver something to a certain emperor."

Unfortunately for L.u.s.t, she forgot to ask Lilith to tell her about Rins abilities, if he has any, making her regret it in the future.

-Rin's Pov-

Since this was all last minute, I made chicken fried rice but Akane still seemed hungry so I made Omelette rice with beef inside with demi-glace sauce.

At some point Kuro and Midori came so I had to make even more after seeing the look in their eyes. I swear, if I didn't have a stable income than how'd I manage to deal with future familiars when I finish school? Well, I guess that depends on the state the world becomes, huh.

(Akane, Midori and Kuro): "Thanks for the food!"

The trio finish eating and rest their heads on the tables with a full stomach and a satisfied face. I look at the pile of dishes and felt a little annoyed.

(Rin): "Ok get up! New house rules: You eat, you clean!"

I should've done this before but back then it wasn't this atrocious.

It took 20 minutes to finish cleaning the dishes and that's even after coordinating the four of us. Luckily the kitchen is big enough to house the four of us easily so we didn't have any accidents happening.

(Rin): "Here."

I give Akane a can of soda after we finished cleaning. Kuro and Midori have gone somewhere while I wasn't looking but I can still sense their presence on the upper floors.

(Rin): "You mentioned earlier that I'm 'one of those'... What does that mean?"

It's been on my mind. Are the other Club members like me and have unique abilities?

(Akane): "I'll keep that a secret. It wouldn't be fun if I spoil the surprise."

Seriously? Why is it that most Demons have the same playful nature to them? I got a little annoyed with Akane's comment so I stretched both of her cheeks. Hmm, squishy.

(Akane): "Hey, let go!"

Whops.

(Rin): "Sorry. Does it bother you that I done that?"

She may be able to talk to me now but I don't want to accidently trigger her in my dorm. I can already see Yukio giving me an annoying lecture if that happens.

(Akane): "Strange... I didn't get repulsed unlike before..."

Akane says that thinking while posing like a detective. She looks cute when she's thinking like that.

I give her a head pat just for being cute which makes her give me a confused look.

(Rin): "Hehe, sorry a force of habit. My hand just moved."

I put my hands up in defeat. I wonder if the laws of anime have affected me to move unconsciously to cuteness?

(Akane): "It felt... strange..."

I looked at her eyes and noticed a weird glint in her eyes. Yep, we should probably stop this.

(Rin): "I'll go clean up your room. Any room you want in particular?"

Akane quickly recovers from her short daydream as she puts on a thoughtful expression that lasts for a few seconds.

(Akane): "I guess one that's closest. I don't want to trouble you guys too much."

I immediately go to the room and clean it up a bit. Honestly it was just a bit of dusting and vacuuming. I even gave her some spare clothes of mine if she wants to change out of her uniform.

After that I finally got some rest for the day after having a little chat with Yukio about both the regular school and the cram school.

-The next day-

I woke up early again and find Yukio's bed empty again. Looks like I've actually recovered from that s.u.c.c.u.b.u.s charm.

I got up and went to take a bath. It's been two days since I had a bath and I already don't like the feeling of it. I guess I've sorta become a clean freak after reincarnating, huh.

I was still a bit sleep and my eyes were a bit blurry so I didn't notice someone was already using the bathroom and getting changed.

(Akane): "..."

(Rin): "..."

F.u.c.k sake. I forgot Akane was staying over. I was prepared for a kodachi or something flying towards me but surprisingly the person talking wasn't fl.u.s.tered at all.

(Akane): "Morning Rin."

If you haven't realised, Akane is changing, probably to use the bathtub. She's topless with her shirt barely covering her modest c.h.e.s.t, baggy trousers and I get a front view of her little red Succubi wings. No wonder she thought she was one of them plus the tail fits the bill as well.

Isn't it uncomfortable to have your wings under your clothes?

(Rin): "Morning Akane."

Seeing as she was responding normally, I tried answering back normally as well but I feel a little aroused from the sight I'm seeing.

(Akane): "You were going to take a bath?"

(Rin): "Yeah..."

I responding reflexively as I wasn't expecting her to ask such an obvious question.

(Akane): "Cool. Since the bathtub is huge we can share."

She says that nonchalantly as she wraps her body with a towel as she continues undressing with the towel blocking my vision.

I try to casual turn my head away as I get undressed somewhere else. Honestly, what's this situation I'm getting myself involved. For some reason my instincts are telling me to go with the flow instead of acting fl.u.s.tered.

(Akane): "Ahh~ its warm."

Why did that sound stimulating? I also hop into the bathtub and starting relaxing my slightly tensed up muscles.

After a while of silence I decided to have a chat with Akane who has a towel around her head.

(Rin): "Question: How are you composed in this situation? Weren't you scared of me before?"

The question just appeared in my head after realising that things don't click. There's no way you'd be alright with bathing with a guy after getting over your disgust of him.

(Akane): "I'm surprised as well. Since my instincts didn't tell me to hate it, I just went along with the flow."

She gives me the 'beats me' expression as she says that. Haaaah, this really is an anime world. Having one fight to the death, well sorta, and you're now best friends with that person. Though I don't think any go to this stage immediately.

We had a little chat before we got joined by Kuro and Midori. The face they made when finding Akane here was amazing, lol.

I had to make the lunch boxes before making breakfast. Akane was with Kuro and Midori in the training room to do some sparring. Good luck you two.

I made a bigger breakfast than usual to account for Akane's presence since they're all working out, she's probably going to hit them where it hurts.

(Rin): "How'd the training go?"

I give the two cheeky smile after seeing the state of Kuro and Midori. Kuro's having difficulty walking with his hand over his stomach area and Midori looks like he fainted like a pokemon resting on Akane's head. It seems like Akane is alright with Kuro and Midori but I don't know if its because of my connection with them or because Akane's getting along well with them.

Kuro gives me a little glare but quickly has his attention taken when he sees the food on the table.

Geez, these demons.

(Rin): "Can't you hold back a bit?"

Akane gives me a half-wry smile as she has most of her focus on the food. Oh boy...

Nothing much happened for breakfast over than us silently eating over than Midori's sudden revival when the food was served. After that we cleaned our bowls and got dressed for school. I sent Kuro and Midori to the training room but I also gave them some board games that I ordered the two nights before for them so they can have breaks from training.

(Akane): "Hmm... This forest seems familiar..."

Akane has some small talk with me whilst walking to school. That reminds me...

(Rin): "Where did you get that tree from? Did you get it from the forest?"

I remember seeing the bark of a tree when I was running back home but I assumed it was due to Akane.

(Akane): "I think so..."

The rest of the journey we talked about our interests and favourite foods. I found out that Akane's favourite food is Sukiyaki and that she likes watching/reading anything with horror, comedy and action in it.

As we got closer to the school building I noticed that Akane put her hoodie up. Haah, I guess she doesn't like that other students are looking at her.

(Naneko): "Akane~!"

Coming from the school building, we hear Naneko calling Akane's name as she displays her demonic speed to the entire school and charges towards Akane with a dust trail behind her.

I thought Akane would've dodged her charge but she just stays still and sighs softly as if resigning her fate to the tackle hug.

I kinda didn't want to see that so I put my hand around Akane's waist and pulled her towards me causing Naneko to miss her target and fall to the floor face first.

Honestly what's with this anime-style dive?

(Naneko): "Ow...!Hey! You weren't at the dorm room yesterday and you even dodged my hug...!"

Naneko quickly gets up after rubbing her nose and shouts at Akane. She looks at me in surprise as I still have my arm around Akane. Hmm, this feels comfortable.

The other students notice our commotion as they start talking about us with voice 3 Demons will easily be able to pick up.

(Female Student): "What's this? Neko-san and Nightmare-san are having an argument?"

(Female Student): "Yeah it looks like it about that boy… He's holding Akane-sans waist!"

(Male Student): "Wait isn't that Yukio Okumura's older brother? The guy who makes the lunch boxes that everyone's talking about on Instagram and other social media."

(Female Student): "Really? But he doesn't look anything like Yukio. Looks like there's going to be some drama."

We hear rumours like these fly around as Naneko and Akane are stunned. Maybe this was a bad idea, oh well.

(Akane): "Nano, I told you I was sleeping at Rin's place."

Akane drops the bomb. Probably not the best way of saying things.

(Naneko): "That's not a good excuse! And what do you mean you were 'sleeping at Rin's place'? Wait you two aren't lovers, are you?"

I facepalm mentally as Naneko says that with her finger pointing at me. Seriously? What's with this anime like misunderstanding.

(Naneko): "Awu, I'll remember this Rin!"

Before I had the chance to say anything she runs away leaving a trail of dirt in the air behind her again.

(Rin): "Is she always like this?"

I don't remember her sounding like a clingy girlfriend when she was talking to Akane in the clubroom.

(Akane): "She's a bit overprotective of me since we grew up in the same orphanage. By the way, how long do you plan on holding me?"

Akane tells me in a somewhat tired voice. Seems like this wasn't the first time Naneko acted like this, huh. I'm aware that my arm is still around her but I don't know, it feels comfortable like this but it's probably making her uncomfortable, huh.

(Rin): "Sorry about that. By the way you should go after her and make up. I'm sure she's just a bit confused."

(Akane): "Sure."

Akane says that as she follows after Naneko. Haah, I just realised that Naneko is the childhood friend that easily gets jealous, huh.

Since my walking buddy left me I carried on walking to the classroom. When I got to the entrance I bumped into Izumo and Noriko.

(Rin): "Morning."

I said my greetings and we had a small chat about what lessons we had before heading to our designated classrooms. Great, more English.

Lessons went by in a flash and it's already lunch. When English was over I got a wet willy from Yanno making me jump. The cheeky shit laughed his head off when that happened so I gave him a headlock until he tapped out..

I need to get my revenge.

We headed to the Economics room and business carried on as usual but today the student number has increased again along with the complements and complaints for not being available yesterday.

While I was having thoughts of the profit for the day, they came in.

(Sorano): "Hey Rin!"

(Kasamugi): "What's up Rin."

The entire Clubroom came in and gave me their greetings. The other students glance at the group but carries on eating and chatting.

(Sorano): "I heard from Naneko that you stole Akane away from her. Nice going RIn."

Sora gives me a thumbs up as she says that with a grin.

(Naneko): "Traitor! What would you do if he takes Natsuno away from you?!"

Naneko refutes Sora's thumbs up with her own point, making Sora have a stiff smile as a flash of realisation appears on her face.

(Sorano): "There's no way my Tsuno will leave me."

(Naneko): "Oh really? Than look over there."

I didn't notice her moving but Kirihime is standing next to me staring at the food boxes. Hmm, why can't I sense hers and Akane's aura sometimes. I hand her one as I say.

(Rin): "Wants some?"

(Kirihime): "Thank you."

(Rin): "???"

I could've sworn I felt a bit of bloodl.u.s.t coming from Sora as I hand Kirihime a lunch box. I've felt a bit of it when I was dealing with the Incubus but nothing as strong as this.

Interesting. My blood boils up a bit as I want to have a fight with her but I calm down as I remember where we are. I wonder if Akane made me into a battle maniac?

I guess I triggered a yandere, huh.

(Rin): "Well, are you guys here to stare at the food or to eat? I'll be back getting Kuro and Midori."

I quickly leave in order for everything to calm down without my presence to interfere. How did I manage to earn the ire of both Sora and Naneko.

(Naneko): "Rin, I challenge you!"

I walk back into the Economics room with Kuro and Midori and I have my face pointed by Naneko.

What's this all of a sudden? I look at her in confusion before she continues speaking.

(Naneko): "Let's have a cooking battle. Winner gets Akane."

What's this, a shokugeki showdown? And why is Akane a prize all of a sudden?

(Rin): "I don't mind the food battle by whys the prize Akane? Can't I get a different reward?"

I don't want to use Akane as a reward though it does sound interesting but I want to tease Naneko a bit.

(Rin): "If I win, how about a kiss on the cheek?"

I was gonna say lips but I don't want there to be any rumours about me harassing people. Though this still could be counted as one but not as bad.

I noticed a few auras felt a little chilly when I said that. I looked to my left and found Izumo and Noriko eating some food with some other students. They must've came when I left.

(Naneko): "Hehe, so you're not satisfied with only Akane, huh. What's your plan? To make all of the club members to join your harem?"

The thought of a harem never crossed my mind but it does look like my situation is becoming something like that after Shiemi show'd up, huh.

(Rin): "Didn't think of that but it does sound like fun. Though that plan requires me to have people to like me and I don't want to force anyone."

I notice Amethyst is a little uncomfortable with the whole harem talk. I guess it makes sense for someone who's in love with yukio.

The other club members have different reactions. Kirihime and Akane don't seem fazed by it, Sora looks like she's thinking of something, Chelsea, Yanno and Sae are shaking their heads with a 'here we go again' face and Kasamugi looks like he's the most entertained as he has his thumbs up.

Seriously?

(Rin): "I'm not being serious about that but what's the challenge about?"

(Naneko): "Simple, make the other admit defeat with our cooking. We have a single main ingredient that we must follow else you lose automatically"

After hearing that I just pray there's no such thing as a 'foodgasm' in this world. I think I'll start losing my sanity at that point.

(Rin): "Alright, You're on."

(Kasamugi): "Then Chelsea, Sora and I will be the judges. Good luck you two. And the ingredient is... Eggs!"

The other students started to gaver around us as they finished eating their lunches, meanwhile the club members eat their portion as Naneko and I make our food.

I make a one-pan english breakfast since it was the first thing that came to mind other than Omelette rice.

I heated a medium non-stick frying pan and added chipolatas and fried them for 3 mins. Then I added bacon and occasionally turned them over until it starts to crisp. Once they started turning brown, i added in the mushrooms and continue to cook for a further 5 mins. I then drained any excess fat and moved the ingredients so they are spread evenly out.

I lightly season the eggs with salt, then added them to the pan and spread it to fill the spaces. I gently moved the eggs with a fork over a low-medium heat until the eggs began to set.

I scatter over the tomatoes, cheese, and chives, then grill for another 2 mins until it sets, then I cut it into wedges and served the judges and told them to use whatever sauce they want.

(Rin): "Here use whatever sauce you prefer."

It's a good thing that this economics class is loaded with various freezers and cupboards filled with food.

I finish my one-pan english breakfast and handed a slice each to the judges. I made enough to serve four people just in case I want to have some myself.

Naneko looks like she was about to finish so I gave my food to the judges in the meantime.

(Chelsea): "This brings me back. I'd have my father makes me this when I was going to school. But isn't this more suitable for breakfast rather than lunch?"

Chelsea takes a whiff of the food before speaking. I forgot that she's originally from europe. Looks like I may have scored a point just from that.

(Rin): "Normally it is but who said you can't have it for brunch?"

I quickly make up an excuse since this is normally a breakfast food but I enjoy having it for dinner sometimes

(Kasamugi): "Well regardless of when it's meant to be eaten, Let's have a taste. The aroma is enough to make my belly rumble."

Kasamugi says that as he starts to drool. Yikes someones hungry.

The three judges ate the slice, each giving a different reaction.

(Kasamugi): "Delicious! Man you should've told me you were this good at cooking!"

Kasamugi says that after talking his first bite. He then begins devouring the rest.

(Sorano): "I like the texture. The temperatures just right and the cheese amplifies the flavour and the tomatoes don't ruin the experience."

(Chelsea): "I agree. It's just like when i was a kid, growing up with my father who'd wake up early to buy the fresh ingredients in the market and make me this everyday

Everyone gives their evaluation as they begin scarfing down the food, forgetting that a certain neko was finished with her cooking.

(Naneko): "Hehe, looks like you got the headstart on them but don't think you won with just that, Rin~!"

Naneko says suddenly as she hands over her plates to the judges. She made baked eggs with potatoes, mushrooms and cheese. I wasn't paying attention to the process of how she made it but I wonder if she'll share her recipe to me.

The judges have a taste of the food, each giving another set of commentary like you'd see in Shokugeki no Soma.

(Kasamug): "Looks like you improved as well, Naneko, the inside is smooth whilst the outside is a little crunchy."

(Sora): "And the flavour that explodes in your mouth. Its simply wonderful~"

(Chelsea): "I agree, and its neither too cheesy or not enough. It's just right."

After thinking over with themselves about which dish was better, the results came in.

(Chelsea): "I like Rin's cooking better."

Alright that's one for me. Next is Sora who gives me a short glance before giving her verdict.

(Sorano): "I like Naneko's cooking the best."

Looks like she's still annoyed at me, huh. I turn to Kasamugi with hope in my eyes since I want to win this one.

(Kasamugi): "Hehe, looks like I'm the deciding judge. You were both excellent showing the love both of you have for your cooking. Unfortunately only one gets to leave as a winner and that is… Rin!"

I mentally jump in the air as I laugh victoriously. Hehe, I won.

(Rin): "Hehe, looks like I win. About the forfeit..."

I was going to say let's change it to her owing me a favour if she didn't want to follow it but before I could say that she gives me a quick peck on the cheek.

Its was only for an instant but I felt her soft lips leaving a slightly moist patch on my cheek

(Naneko): "There, It's done. Happy now"

(Rin): "Very."

I try to act compose from the surprise kiss. It's the first time that happened to me so I'm very happy right now. I wonder how my first kiss will be like?

Naneko doesn't seem fazed by it and carries on acting like her usual self. Honestly, what was the point of this little showdown? She doesn't seem sad from losing but the opposite. I can't tell if she was even serious with the cooking contest in the first place.

Haaah, girls will always mystify me.

(Kasamugi): "Well it looks like it's time for class to start. Let's get going!"

Kasamugi somehow manages to take the crowd of gossiping students out of the classroom and into the hallway, leaving me, Naneko, Yanno and Akane remaining. The four of us cleaned the dishes before heading to our next lesson. Great, its PE.

(Authors notes:

I'm curious of you guys think I've made rin a little too overpowered to quick or not over powered enough because I have the feeling that a lot of the readers haven't read the manga of blue exorcist and only the first season of the anime.

If you have, I'm not here to shame you or anything but i'll tell you that the reason rin was affected by the Succubi's charm was due to him not having a perfect resistance against mental attacks. You could say that he should since he's satans son but that doesn't make sense since he only has blue flames that burns whatever he d.e.s.i.r.es and if you think I'm doing this on purpose, in the manga, rin faced off against a dragon god that had the ability to paralyse someone if they made eye contact with it. The dragon god is only a high level demon but it still had a big effect against rin who struggled against him in the manga.

Well this is just my thoughts and I'll continue writing how I want to write (not in an arrogant way but you know) and I won't be nerfing Rin. Any way have a good day!)
