My Mysterious Wife Had Seven Affairs

Ziwei lowered her head in shame and with eyes gazing at the marble flooring.

Yifeng, who was mentally in a complete different world of his own thoughts physically kept staring at the lady before him.

The silent room heard a screeching sound as someone from outside slided the room door.

The young couple alerted on hearing the sound and noticed Rushi walking in.

Rushi realised that something went wrong between the couple as she saw their pale whitened faces.

Rushi after knowing about the issue of Ziwei falling down on stage next to Steve Chen, lost her appetite with worry about Ziwei. She wanted to visit her daughter in law right in the morning, but was requested by both of her sons not to disturb Ziwei for a while.

Even now, Rushi couldn't bring that topic because she knew that it would effect Ziwei's mental well being.

Seeing the elder, both Yifeng and Ziwei replaced the awkwardness with joyful smiles on their faces. But Rushi still sensed something fishy happening.

She wanted to ask them the reason, but thought it would be better to pretend like she didn't sense them being different.

Both Ziwei and Rushi sat on the bed to talk about some stuff and Yifeng was left alone. Just then Rushi brought up the topic of Zhao Yue.

"Ziwei, how do you know Dr. Zhao? You both seem very close to each other"

Ziwei, who was already ashamed of Zhao Yue's, on hearing her name again startled and gazed into Rushi's eyes with a perplexed face.

Watching Ziwei's expression, Rushi felt weird and immediately tried to change the topic with some other entertainment stuff.

Both the women again involved themselves in chatting but they had their own thoughts in mind. The young man in the room was left behind alone and was indirectly asked to move out of the room.

Leaving the ladies alone, Yifeng walked out of the room and when he was about to close the room door, he saw a similar figure walking towards him.

The lady walking towards the room stood still on seeing Yifeng near the door. Yifeng slowed down his pace and reached the lady after a few steps.

Seeing into her eyes, he spoke his words in pleasance.

"Miss Zhao Yue, Can I have a minute of talk with you"

Zhao Yue hearing him, stiffened her body in shock but inside she was filled with fury and her body heated up.

Stuttering her words she replied "Yeah... Sure Mr. Liu".

"Good to hear that you care for Ziwei.....and investigated about me behind my back. I don't care even if you know about the marriage contract. As her best friend, you have a right to know. But I don't know from whom you found the fact of me paying a treasure to have Ziwei sing with Steve. But What All I did was for her happiness. I just hope you'd never trouble...her and also me". His words sounded strong and blunt.

She understood that Liu Yifeng came to know about her working behind the door. She wanted to reply in the same blunt tone as Yifeng talked. But she didn't want to create further troubles and calmed herself before speaking in a humble manner.

"Mr. Liu. You don't have to worry. I'll never let my people to get hurt. And I too hope you'd care for Ziwei from now and never let her down".

"Hmm..." Yifeng softly chuckled hearing Zhao Yue as he understood the meaning behind her words. But his smile was something fake to cover up the spreading uneasy effect in his heart.

He knew that Zhao Yue's indirectly asking him to let Ziwei lone on her own. He was already much upset on realising the reality that he used a girl to clear up his troubles but the girl turned out to be his love. Now with Zhao Yue's indirect poking, he turned completely awful and he felt like she called him as a truly shameless person.

"Don't mind the recent issues. Everything will settle down" he spoke softly before walking back to the patient room.

Behind him, Zhao Yue walked towards the room after giving out a little sigh.
