Chapter 42 - What's great with that imitation?!!

Liu Yifeng who was immersed in painful thoughts ended up shedding tears unaware of changes occurring around him.

"My doctor said, My little cutie pie may die.....due to the anaesthetic effects of my surgery"

Ziwei sobbed holding Yifeng's suit.

Hearing her final words, Yifeng came to senses.

He stupidly believed when she said she's pregnant. But now he understood Ziwei was faking a pregnancy.

He understood.. Because he knew every single thing Ziwei does, everything she watches, everything she eats.

Though he didn't visit her when she's in hospital, he had his mother and brother beside him to report him every single thing happening around Ziwei.

Ziwei's acting skills were outstanding, the hearts of the reporters shook in grief.

And Yifeng's tears created additional sadness making the act extremely emotional.

Watching Ziwei's and Yifeng's actions, Steve was rooted on his feet and tried to control himself from spitting fire.

He never guessed Ziwei would enter in middle of the interview and would divert the people.

Steve cursed himself for underestimated Yifeng.

And he never imagined Yifeng would play along with Ziwei, kissing her in return to her kiss.

Seeing Ziwei kissing a man in front of him itself can't be digested by Steve. She even declared herself as pregnant, turning him insane.

'Why... Just why are you acting like this? What's great with that imitation[1]? Why do you have to bluff a pregnancy just to save him? Why can't you see me?' Steve gazed at Ziwei with aching heart.

"Mrs.Liu, you said you were pregnant. But why did you sign a contract to work with Steve Chen? In that too you took up a highly risky task of flying around for tours along with him. Does this mean you are seriously restarting your singing career?"

'What? Me.. Work with Steve..? Urgh.. Steve.. I asked you just to help the company for the time being. I didn't ask you to include me in your contract? Liu. Yifeng. How can you agree for such an unjust contract? You must be truly hating me, right? You are even sending me away' Ziwei stopped crying externally and stared sobbing internally.

Liu Yifeng tried to answer the question, but Ziwei started to speak before he could.

At a corner of the hall, Gengxin and Rushi were watching the film playing on the stage.

"Gengxin... Get me an appointment from your hospital's Gynecology department" Wang Rushi uttered in anxious tone, listening to Ziwei's words.

"Mama[2]....What do you mean?" Gengxin standing next to his mother said in a perplexed state.

"I know she's faking. But my instincts never go wrong. I'm sure there something mysterious happening. Just do what I asked to" Rushi turned back to leave the company building.

Gengxin worried about his mother, followed her from behind.

"Steve, what happened?" Jiang Yu Lan asked in anxiety.

"Don't you know, what happened? That Liu Yifeng bastard..he kissed my Ziwei"

"*Exhaling fumes* Enough. Steve. Don't you dare to talk about my man again? Unless you want me to kill that bitchy woman?" Jiang Yu Lan raised her fist as if she's to bang on his face.

"Jiang. Yu. Lan....You.. You dare call her...? Don't forget that you'll die in my hands if you try laying a finger on her" Steve blocked her fist with his palm.

Both Steve and Yu Lan played with each other for a while out of annoyance.

Just like Steve, Yu Lan was also angered with Liu couple's actions. But she had no special powers to strike against the couple. So she wants to visit her Yeye to ask for his help in destroying Ziwei and Yifeng.
