Rushi was totally impressed seeing Ziwei's action in the press meet.

She knew Ziwei was faking a pregnancy but her strong instincts said her there was something fishy behind Ziwei's actions.

She wanted Ziwei to meet a gynaecologist. She wanted to knew if Ziwei's reproductive health was affected due to the recent chaos. With a thought of taking Ziwei to hospital, Rushi came to Ai Villa. But she could not find her daughter in law at home and soon she found out Ziwei went out of the country.

Disappointed on knowing Ziwei was not there, Rushi was dragging herself out of Yifeng's room. When she was leaving the room, she heard her son call her.

"Mama..."

"Enn..?"

"Will you kill me if I say you a truth..?"

"What...?"

"Mamaa... That that... About Zi-Ziwei... I....I..St-stev.. " Yifeng wanted to tell his mother about his marriage contract with Ziwei.

And why he ended the contract.

How he sent away Ziwei with Steve.

But seeing Rushi's face, he couldn't say anything that could hurt her and ended up hesitating.

Because he knew his mother was already upset with Ziwei leaving her without saying a word. He doesn't want to hurt her even more by saying her the truths.

Hearing Yifeng stutter his words, Rushi sighed.

"Haahh...What...? Is that the truth you wanted to say? Don't think just with a simple apology of yours, I'll forgive you for parting Ziwei and me"

"Mama... Didn't I already talk to you about it. Didn't I explained I was sending her for a change. Don't you know, I was also not happy sending her far away"

"Aha...If you are missing your wife that much, then ask her to return soon"

Ziwei got herself dressed and was seated in the makeup room.

She thought Steve after knowing about her from the agency manager, would soon reach the concert area on his own.

Unaware of the hectic activities of Steve, she stayed peaceful and happy as she was alone without him on her side.

'Urgh... This guy truly have no basic senses. How can he be this stupid..' Ziwei cussed Steve for being tactless. Only after reading all his texts, her anger hit the peaks.

When she was about to read the last message, her ears received a hoarse voice mixed with gasps..

"Ziwei... Ziwei.. You okay..? Why did you leave the hotel on your own? Why didn't you pick my calls? Uff... Uff... I was really frightened thinking you were gone missing"

"Sorry.. I'll be back soon" Ziwei excused herself out of the makeup room to have a chat with Steve personally.

Conscious about Ziwei's actions, Steve followed her to outside.

"What.... Why would you even think I went missing? Hah? Do you think I'm a kid? And what's with these texts? Urhhh..... Steve. You already know I have no special feelings on you. To me you are just a friend. Just a good friend. And why are you still pestering me?"

"Ziwei...listen. I.. I know you had no feelings for me. I know to you I'm just a friend. But but from the first time I saw you.. I really lov--"

"Steve, thank god you came. The concert's about to start soon. You should hurry" the concert organiser interrupted Steve when he was finally about to speak out his heart and express his feelings to Ziwei.

Hearing the organiser, Ziwei walked back into the makeup room.

'Urgh.. This man....Really have no time sense...Can't he see me talking to her..' Steve internally cussed the organiser.

"Ziwei...wait. Listen to me.." Steve grabbed Ziwei's hand as she kept walking forwards.

Sensing his fingers on her Ziwei turned back and raised her arm to slap the man behind her.
