My Mysterious Wife Had Seven Affairs

Chapter 7 - My name, Yifeng

"SuZYi" on seeing the gold colour printed letters on the cream paper cover, Yifeng curved his lips in happiness and with anticipation filled in his heart.

A world famous yet hidden writer under the pen name SuZYi, accidentally turned into his pen friend and his secret helper.

Except for words in a beautiful cursive writing, Yifeng never saw an additional stroke of ink on the papers.

Its not just him, the whole world was never ever known of the writer's face or details. Its them, the works of that writer which captivated the people.

Yifeng, too loved those writings and started to send letters to the writer like any other admirer.

After sending a series of letters, stuck with problems all around once he wrote a question trapped in his heart to get an answer from the writer and unexpectedly he received a solution for his problems.

Yifeng who always believed that miracles could happen used the writer's answer as his plan in relieving himself out from the cage of troubles.

After his successful escape, he thanked and continued to get the writer's opinion once in a while, when he's stuck at a dead end.

Its the same situation that repeated, where he questioned the writer a few days back "Colour and flavour seemed pleasant, but should I really have to taste the bitterness of this tea to cure my fever?"

He asked the question as he's stuck up in a problem with a lady contracted under his entertainment company. But he never expected that the answer he received would resolve the pain pooled in his heart.

He gazed at the letter before slowly opening it to take out the folded board black coloured paper.

He took a deep breath before unfolding the paper to see lines of silver coloured words of English beautifully carved in cursive writing.

"Know the pain hidden behind a cheerful smile, Find the facts buried under heaps of fake tales"

He frowned his relaxed brows on reading those lines.

To his surprise, her answer created an unknown pain in his heart than giving him happiness. He gazed at those words for a long time and slightly nodded his head making a final decision where to use that solution.

His face brightened and eyes shined with happiness.

He then placed the letter into the table drawer filled with tons of similar covers.

He gazed out of the window thinking of the words in the letter and about the person giving out cheerful smiles all the time.

He heard a tingling sound which brought him back to senses. Only then he realised that he was still in the suit he wore in the morning that got covered with blood.

He loosened his tie before taking out his phone from his jacket. He read the text he received from his brother "Get her admitted tomorrow".

The lost spirits in him came back to their righteous place. He changed his outfit before walking towards Ziwei's room.

On hearing his foot steps and door screeching, Ziwei stopped herself from thinking and got dunked under the sheets. She shut her eyes tightly under the covers, but could still hear the slightest of the sound made in the silent room.

His mind felt fresh as he decided to make her find a complete new person in him. He pulled the sheets covering her in a single stroke to reveal her stiffened body.

He found the fact of her sweating and praying with her hands folded under the sheets, covered up by her fake sleeping act.

"Are you praying to god or to this handsome husband of yours?" he chuckled on seeing her tensed posture. His small chuckle made Ziwei to fall into confusion and her stiffened body slowly turned normal.

To her knowledge, it was her first time to see him that calm and to smile at her. His chuckle unintentionally made her weird expressions and posture to lose their existence.

She tried to raise her body from the bed as if she had remembered something to do.

Yifeng who stood beside the bed guessed her actions and gave her a hand as he decided to favor her in every single thing she does.

Her body again stiffened on feeling his hand around her slender waist. His unexpected actions brought shivers to her eyes and also to her heart. She found his touch different from what she sensed for the past few months.

His warm hands made her body to regain the lost strength but her heart started to thump.

He lifted her from the bed and took her into his arms and lowered his eyes to look at her face with his brows questioning her the way she wanted to go.

Deep in heart, she was confused to see him acting good to her all of a sudden. Not more than two hours back, he almost made her jaw to get dislocated. And still she couldn't remember her words responsible for his sudden rage.

She kept thinking on her own without noticing the changes happening around her. By the time she came to her senses, Yifeng already took her to the place she wanted and was dropping her down slowly.

Only after feeling something under her foot, she came back from her deep thoughts. She turned to her sides to see the wide bathroom before her eyes.

She closed her eyes in embarras.e.m.e.nt as she felt a strange feeling, of someone helping her to such extent and in that too Yifeng bringing her into the bathroom felt like a dream to her. He slowly left her hand only after he found that her posture was stable and balanced.

He looked at her feet and noticed her bandaged ankle floating mid way in air. He soon lifted her back and walked to place her on the toilet seat. His sudden moves left her in shock and her closed eyes widened. He was worried she might lose balance and fall down again but she got all kinds of weird thoughts in her mind. She shook her head to clear her mind and thought for a while before opening her mouth.

He walked to a nearby cabinet and searched for something he had in his mind and that's when he heard her speak in a low voice.

"Master..."

His hand stopped moving in the cabinet and he turned to see her face covered with fear.

"What...?" his hoarse voice reached her.

"About Gengxin, I...I..." her words made him to think of his brother's story and the pile of her medical reports.

"I heard everything from him. You'll get into the hospital tomorrow" his voice sounded calm and pleasant which instantly made the fears she held in her heart to fly away.

She thought in her mind, 'What everything he heard from Gengxin, that turned him this calm?'

"But why you never said about your problem when you are in such horrible pain...?" he questioned her turning back to look for the thing he's searching before. He wanted to know her opinion on him and what she thought about him for the past few months of time.

Hearing him, she got her fears back into heart and thought deeply to give him a reasonable answer.

After a few seconds she took a deep breath before saying "Master...I thought it would unneededly trouble you". Deep internally she cursed him 'You idiot, I thought you would notice me crying in pain at least for once. But.. You.. Urgh.. There's really Nothing wrong in people calling you Cold Monster'

He smirked. "Trouble me?...Now you turned me into a cruel husband before Gengxin. Isn't that the biggest trouble?" turning back to see her face.

He thought that she must have been afraid of him and that's the reason why she couldn't bring her problems to his notice.

His cold behavior was due to some other reasons and he never had hatred towards her. He decided to change his behaviour towards her so that she would open up about herself.

To her, those words sounded similar to how a true husband would talk to and care for his wife.

Yifeng walked towards her and said "And why Gengxin is Gengxin and I'm still Master?" gazing into her eyes in an slight angered voice which made her body to tremble and her heart to gain weight.

He suddenly reached her bandaged ankle and tied a polythene cover around to prevent it from getting wet and said "You can call me by my name, Yifeng ..." before leaving her in awe.
