Irvene focused herself and hid the fluffy creature in her bag. The monster was gigantic. Its body was mostly covered with iron plates and a weak attack wouldn't take damage.

Elis kept throwing a big mass of fire to distract it and find its weak point, while Irvene analyzed the monster's movement.

It opened its mouth and release a ball of fire. They avoided it, but the ball of fire exploded like a bomb. Irvene's thrown by the impact of the explosion.

"Master! Are you okay?" he shouted.

Irvene stood up with her furrowed brows as if nothing happened and nodded at him. Looking at her injuries, she seemed not okay, but he shrugged it off and stepped backward after he saw her expression.

'You gigantic creature! My bottle of potions was almost broken especially the bottle of spring of truth. I had a hard time going here and losing it would not be a good thing!' she thought.

A dark aura enveloped her body that the gigantic creature flinched upon her existence. Nonetheless, it threw another ball of fire. She dodged it this time and laughed like a villain.

Elis looked at her. 'She's gone crazy.' he thought. However, he did his best not to say it aloud especially in front of her.

'I had seen through your weak point,' Irvene thought. She called Elis' attention. "Stall that monster for a while. Also, use blue fire," she said.

Elis felt extremely excited upon hearing what Irvene said. "There's no turning back on your words master, I'll burn this one with blue fire," he uttered.

Elis felt excited although, Irvene said one more thing that crushed his plans.

"Who says you'll do that? I said just to stall time and don't let your blue fire near me again!" she said.

His blue fire is incredibly powerful that anyone would get burned in an instant. The last time he used it, Irvene almost got burned by that fire, so she forbids him from using it when they fight together but today, she had no choice.

This gigantic monster is a fire-type one, and using common fire on that monster is useless. The blue fire, however, could burn even a strong fire-type monster.

"I have to be the one to kill that monster!" she said eagerly.

Elis sighed and didn't argue anymore. It's best if she let go of her anger at the monster instead of him, so he used a small amount of blue fire and took its attention.

Irvene waited for her chance to attack its weak spot. Spikes of ice started forming from her hands, and she jumped high and stabbed its throat by a giant ice spike. She distanced herself before the monster's blood would get through her.

Its throat was the only one that's not covered in iron plates, so she took the chance to stab it in the throat before they were the one who would get killed.

The monster fell down on the ground and a fire orb started getting out of its body. It's not a common orb that could be seen easily and a fire crystal appeared after it. She took both and gave the fire orb to Elis.

Fire orbs could be used to strengthen him, so she always spared fire orbs for Elis. The fire crystal could be of use later therefore, she hid it on her bag.

"It's an uncommon fire orb! If this continues, it will not be too long for me to release black fire," he said.

"Hmm.. Then I'll let you wander around in this forest some other time. You can go here while I'm not summoning you but be careful." she said.

Irvene does not restrict her contracted element spirits and wished for them to get stronger. That made Elis stay by her side, and they respect each other, and it makes a good master. Caring for them would gain their trust and respect.

Before she forgot something, she took the fluffy creature which had made a contract with her.

"I'm glad you're okay little one," she said.

She patted its head. This creature took a liking to her easily. "Hmm... what should I name you? I'll just name you Fluff since your so fluffy!" she said.

Elis looked at the creature and asked her about it. "I had recently met him near the spring of truth and after helping it, he started following me, so I decided to have it as a contracted spirit," she said.

She looked at him and saw him staring at Fluff intently. She threw him a sharp look. "Don't you dare do bad things at Fluff!" she said.

However, Elis has been dumbfounded and looked at Fluff with admiring eyes.

"C-can I hold it, Master? Can I?" he said. His eyes are still looking at Fluff. She looked at him weirdly and didn't expect Elis has this side of him.

"Ok, you can hold Fluff while we're on our way to go out of this forest," she said.

Fluff was hesitant at first but it sensed Elis posed no danger, so it let Elis hold him. He first disappeared the fire on his body and finally get hold of Fluff.

He felt its fluffiness and couldn't get over with it. She thought he's even more exaggerated than she was when she saw Fluff. Irvene just let him get hold of Fluff until they got home, so he would not get down.

Thankfully, the gigantic creature was the last one they had encountered after they got out of the forest. She kept the water in the spring of truth in a safe place and had rest.

While Elis decided to stay on her backyard and kept Fluff company. He's still immersed in this cute little creature that he would spare time for it.
