Never Forget Me

Modesty walked around the desk and hugged HuaHua because right now in her mind she was Hua Hau her friend. Not Chu Hua Huan her capable assistant.

"I have no plans of sending you back to the secretarial pool. You are my assistant, and even if you couldn't come back to country A with me, you would still be my assistant. You would still have your office and you would have to put some stamps on that new passport I just got you. Now stop worrying about baseless rumors and help me finish this work so I can get ready for my dinner tonight."

Chu Hua Huan smiled and wiped her eyes.

"Right away boss. Oh, I'm going to go pick up a dress for you from the store that I ordered online. I chose in-store pick up because I know you won't have time to go home and change. Don't forget to let Su Jin Wei know that you won't be going home with him after work."

Modesty nodded and pulled out her cellphone to shoot Su Jin Wei a quick message.

"Assistant Chu, remember you're going with me to dinner just to help me keep an eye on this man. I don't know him or his intentions."

Chu Hua Huan grinned at Modesty back to business, she thought.

"I know, that is why I bought myself a dress as well. You can reimburse me later for all of my expenses."

They both turned to the doc.u.ments piled up on Modesty's desk. But before Modesty picked up a piece of paper she turned to Chu Hua Huan.

"HuaHua, you would tell me if someone is bullying you right?"

Chu Hua Huan smiled at Modesty.

"Of course."
