In the tenth planet of the Solar System, the Quantia, the first man-made planet with a living diversity, there was an underground chamber near the energy core which was called the Lab New Dawn inside it were numerous people and cyborgs living in it waking up and turning online for a new day, however today was no ordinary day because their research about solidifying dark matter with Quantum energy has finished and the test run is about to commence.

Even though the lab was built for research purposes, it could be said that it's open to public and not even a secret, one of the proofs were such as the New Dawn Trading Hub.

Outside a trading house in a quiet street...

"Ho ho ho Professor Eyeglasses, what a nice... eyeglass you have.", said a young man leaning to the door as he talked to a white-haired middle age man.

The young man's facial feature is average, but that only makes him more handsome, with his hair that was styled from those ancient anime, in addition to this hair, was his clothes which was also average, it could be said he's the picture of being average.

The lab coated middle age man, Professor 'Eyeglasses' then approached the former with his cyborg assistant grimly and said, "Kid, if we weren't close friends I would've disintegrated you to death, I told you many times even though I'm probably the only human left being wearing eyeglasses it's still not to be proud of!"

"Alright Sir Qin, so why did you call me for today?", asked the young man.

"Well Brian, I need your help, because me and Natalia here would be rushing to the site of the test run I need you to take this badge on the 24th floor, just push the orb like button in the badge to show you the way, alright kid I gotta go see you.", Sir Qin with Natalia the cyborg left hurriedly while giving Brian a golden hexagon badge with an orb in the middle, however the second latter didn't listen.

"Sir Qin didn't mention to who or where on the 24th floor should I give this thing, I'm going to have to use the elevator I guess so.", said Brian.

Brian then ran to the nearest elevator which was 2km away, in ancient times running 2km straight would be very exhausting but now because of the advance technology has enhanced the common people's body condition, running through the said distance is now not tiring.

Not long after 9 minutes Brian saw the elevator, luckily there was no one else using it and entered it and pushed the button with the number 24.

"I'm currently in the 10th floor, this is going to be a long ride."

Beep, beep, beep could be heard as the elevator passes another floor after another until it reached the 24th floor and Brian went out of the elevator and was welcomed by a wide corridor with many strong ventilation ports.

"I should be careful not to let this little thing here...", as Brian was talking to himself the hexagon badge was sucked by an open ventilation port beside him.

"Curse my bad luck and who would leave an ventilation port open, now I have to get it back.", as he jumped in the ventilation port he noticed that the port smells like butter, "Who would even throw butter to a ventilation port?!"

Few minutes earlier...

"Bro, where should I throw this expired butter?", said a man.

"Just throw it on the ventilation port, we should get the cover first so hurry up!", said an another man.

"Woah! Oh my ahhh!!! Where does this lead to?", shouted Brian.

In the 3rd floor, many scientists and cyborgs were finding their allocated seats to watch the test run of the newly finished research about dark matter.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to be simple and concise, everyone should sit down now, I am Richard, the Chief Researcher and Head Scientist, all of you people already know why we are here today, as you can see behind the podium I'm currently standing there is an enclosed space and a ventilation port on top of the table like platform where we will extract and solidify dark matter with Quantum energy laser which will come from the ventilation port above it... yes the ventilation port pierces through have the planet. Reduce brightness of the room at once, let's start and finish this at once and plus..."

Seated on the first row of seats were the core researchers, one of them was Professor Qin, and other notable new recruits while at second to the last row would be ranked lower and lower.

"Did Brian take the stairs? It's already more than 20 minutes since I sent him to deliver the badge and I still haven't received a reply.", Proffesor Qin muttered.

"... through the Quantum energy laser beam we could solidify dark matter, but why? Is dark matter a water or gas? No it's neither, dark matter is actually invisible and if we spread our palm and let's assume we pour dark matter out from a glass, it would just go through our palm and to the core the world because of the gravity, turn on the Quantum laser!", finished Richard.

"Ahh help!", suddenly a shouting voice was heard and few moments later a man was hanging from the ventilation port inside the enclosed space.

Brian was currently hanging from the ventilation port on top of the enclosed space for the test run, "I'm really unfortunate today, I thought I could easily resist the drag of the strong wind inside the ventilation but I didn't expect it to be covered in butter... I'm slipping ahh!".

On top Quantia there was a nameless man-made moon for storing the Quantum laser and also high-tech computers

"Sir Clyde, Sir Richard has given the order to initiate coundown of the laser and shoot the beam.", said an old man.

"Initiate shooting in 5 seconds, all men prepare, all communication from outside the moon is to be cut off immediately.", commanded Sir Clyde, a middle age man.

"Shooting Quantum Energy Beam, 5 seconds starts.", said the former.

5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

The beam was released.

"Sir Richard, you have to tell them to stop charging!", the worried Professor Qin shouted.

"I... I can't, all forms of communication is to be cut off from the moon when the charging and shooting is initiated.", Sir Richard disappointingly said.
