Now, Where Am I?

Kyle: "Mam, I have betted my chance with Colonel Phillips, I have no mood of fearing expulsion."

We reached the resting area and waited for others to come. We were than excused to rest for rest of the day. I was waiting for the clock to reach 5 so I can have my match with Colonel Phillips.

{5 P.M. the same day}

Sun was setting down, the sky was red. I was standing in the shooting range with Steve, waiting for Colonel Phillips. Suddenly I heard a sound of footstep approaching us. Yes, colonel was coming near us. {Using Col for Phillips}

Col: "you are really stubborn, right? Wait I have asked for some people to witness so you don't w.h.i.n.e later on."

Suddenly a group of 4 people approached including Agent Carter.

Carter: "Don't mind me. I am just here to watch."

After 5 min of preparation.

Col: "Are you ready, boy?"

Kyle: "Yes sir, seniors first."

Col: "Don't w.h.i.n.e later."

Saying that he picked up a rifle and started shooting the 50-m targets. He shot 3 targets in 30 sec more or less. Everyone was applauding for his feat.

He asked the instructor to check the score.

Instructor: "Shot 3 50-m targets 2 bullseye and one yellow. Total 29 points."

Col: "Still want to continue?"

I just picked up the rifle and locked its sight on targets. 'Just you wait asshole'. Locking the target, I put the rifle back down.

Col: "What pissed your pants? No one can handle the pressure of arms and out tried to challenge me. Now get your a.s.s out here."

I didn't say anything for the moment and I was adjusting myself to the high flow of knowledge regarding the marksmanship. After a moment I spoke.

Kyle: "I have locked onto my targets. Waiting for your orders."

Col: "Good, never forgot the discipline. Now fire on your will."

I went to Agent Carter and asked for her pistol. She was a little hesitant but gave it to me.

Like owner like gun, a pure beauty, black in colour.

Col: "You want to shoot 50-m targets with a pistol. Whatever just it fast. Now fire."

Listening to his command I shot three rounds in less than 2 seconds.

BANG! BANG! BANG!

They were shocked.

Instructor: "Shot 3 50-m targets all missed. Total 0 points"

Col: "You sure talk big."

I asked instructor to check the 100-m targets and returned the pistol to Agent Carter.

After some time. The instructor came back.

Instructor: "Shot 3 100-m targets 3 bullseye. Total 30 points"

There was silence in the surrounding. You can hear breathing of people. Then colonel said.

Col: "Soldier, unpack your bags and report to me at sharp 0800 hours in the morning."

Kyle: "Yes sir."

Everybody just went to their way. Steve was looking at me.

Kyle: "What happened, Steve."

Steve: "You won; you jerk. I thought you was a goner. How do you shot without looking and when did you learn it?"

Kyle: (shrugging my shoulders) "A magician never reveals its secret."

We both started moving toward our beds and we found Hodge in near the shooting range. He wasn't making eye contact with me, maybe he has seen my marksmanship.

Next day in morning 0800 I was near Col. Phillips office he asked me to change my instructor and assigned me to Sergeant Paul Roods. He is our special combat instructor. I got under his special group. Today was my day of I just slept rest of the day.

Next day I went to Sergeant Roods. He started showing us some combat techniques. I was just dozing off as I know all the forms of HH combat.

Ser.: "Soldier Kyle, would you mind giving me a hand in our exercise"

Kyle: "It would be my p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e sir."

I went near him, he asked me whether I know some combat or not. I told him a part of truth that I know some combat.

Ser.: "Soldier Kyle, would you mind sparring a little."

Kyle: "No, problem sir. I would love to learn from you."

We then started fighting with each other. I started slowly as I had to extend my fight to copy his skill so I initialised copier.

I understood every other skill but true soldier's body. I asked system. 'System explain true soldier's body'.

We were fighting without stopping the other people watching me as a monster who is going toe to toe with an experienced fighter. I was using hand to hand combat and counter attacks. Obviously, I was on the loosing side. After 15 min I heard a notification.

[Fusing Militarised Close Combat]

Suddenly all technique for less movement and more damage got inside in my head. It was a surprise element for him as well as I was now using MCC but that only was for a moment. He again got the upper hand.

15 more minutes passed. I was huffing but holding back.

Ser.: "Want to surrender soldier."

I just denied and started fighting again and heard another notification.

[Fusing Mixed Martial Arts.]

Then the same happened and now I was not much worried as only half an hour more and it will be finished.

Agent Carter and Col. Phillips came and asked a soldier.

Carter: "Soldier, what is going on here?"

Soldier: "Mam, they have been fighting for the last 30 minutes and no one is going down."

Both of them were shocked, which monstrosity they have recruited now. I smiled watching shocked expression on Carter and continued to fight.

I went fighting on fighting attacking and defending, throwing jabs at each other. But no one was going down. Then I heard the sound I was waiting for.

[Fusing True Soldier's Body]

My breathing style changed completely. It was now following a rhythm. I felt a sudden surge of power in my body, I stopped huffing. Have you ever breathed in a fog? I was just feeling the same. Sergeant was also shocked but then I surrendered as there was no point in continuing the fight. I got what I wanted.

Kyle: "Sir, I surrender. Not an ounce of power left in my body."

Ser.: (In my ear) "You asshole, why did you stop, don't lie about being tired.

Kyle: (Softly) "Sir, how can I win to you. You are the instructor; you have more experience than me."

He was happy by my reply so he just dismissed us. Agent Carter and Col. Phillips also went away.
