Her voice bore some sincerity.

Yu ling looked at Lao Liu, “Didn’t you tell him the reason why I invite him?”

Bao Ye looked at Lao Liu, too. But he had already guessed about the purpose why he was invited.

“I thought it would be better to tell him here.” Lao Liu turned to Bao Ye, “Bao Ye, do you  stille remember the question I asked you a few days ago? About why practice would weaken the person?”

Bao Ye nodded, “Of Course.”

Bao Ye pretended to be surprised, “I thought you were just testing whether I know about this or not, I didn’t expect that you were seeking solutions for your sister. Wasn’t you ever afraid of my cheating you?”

Yu Ling smiled and replied, “ I can tell about it. I invite you to have dinner because your suggestion rescued me. Thanks a lot.”

Bao Ye grinned, “I didn’t do anything except for speaking.”

“Bao Ye, your speaking saved a life! You can ask me do anything for you in the future.” Patting on his chest, Lao Liu promised, “As long as it is within my reach, I will help you at any cost.”

Released from his burden in mind, Lao Liu became more outgoing and smiled a lot.

“Okay, then my job is yours from tomorrow on.”

A touch of astonishment flashed away in Yu Ling’s eyes.

She thought that Bao Ye would take this chance to move closer to her and increase his social status among the slaves, but he simply applied this precious promise on trifle things.

“No problem”

“Time for dinner.” Sis Jing called them from the kitchen.

“Bao Ye, let’s go.”

After the dinner, Yu Ling asked Lao Liu and little fish bone to take Bao Ye walk around the Mess District.

Standing beside the window on the second floor, Jing watched Bao Ye off and turned back to Yu Ling doubtfully, “Ling, you have already known the tie between Boss Jin and the ugly slave was cut off, why did you arrange them to meet each other? Didn’t you fear of their fighting in your place?”

Yu Ling took a sip of tea, “I invited them for two reasons. One is to express my gratitude for telling me about the blocking of my power meridians, as well as helping me to getting through my meridians; the other is to see whether their relationship remained.”

“Does their brotherhood have anything to do with you? Don’t tell me you want to make up their relationship to show your gratitude.” Jing frowned, “You are not that kind-hearted, I think.”

“Have you heard the news today?” Asked Yu Ling.

Jing was still at the sea, “You are talking about the news that the ugly slave made a potion and saved one person? Even though he can make medicine, how could his medicine being so magical? Making the wound disappear in a few seconds? That’s so exaggerating! We are not in the top world, he is not a god, how could he make panacea?”

Yu Ling touched the fringe of the teacup and asked, “Do you remember the medicine Lao Liu gave me few days ago?”

“Yes.”

“I asked little fish bone to give the medicine to Zi. Zi applied the medicine for only three times and her huge knife scar disappeared.”

“Really? Her scar disappeared? What medicine did Lao Liu give you? That’s magical!”

Yu Ling raised her head and looked at her, “Do you know who give him the medicine?”

Jing thought for a while, “The ugly slave?”

“You are right.”

Jing was totally shocked.

Yu ling lifted her lips, “If they really broke up, we can pull the ugly slave to our group.”

Jing nodded.

Outside the building, Bao Ye turned around and curved his lips.
