24. You Were Well-Matched

 “Here we are?” Looking at the shops around, Bao Ye saw a huge crowd of people hustling in the stores, but they were not like purchasing.

“Yes, I am going to apply for it.” Zisang Yanruo bounced merrily into one queue.

Bao Ye looked at the black plague above. There is no characters on the plague, only a  house made up with a simply triangle and a square. But such a simple shape stood for the area of Boss Jin. Thus, they burned all the books in the Lower World, and deprived the education of the younger generation. If anyone dare to challenge the owners, they would be sentenced to death.

After hundreds of years, less and less slaves could read, and the one who could read didn’t dare to reveal themselves.

Bao Ye walked beside Zisang Yanruo and asked, “ What are you applying for?”

Zisang Yanruo replied excitedly, “I heard that the Boss Jin of South District is recruiting personnel into their team, I want to join them.”

Bao Ye laughed. He thought she came here to experience the poverty since he didn’t suffered by them.

The male slave stood in front of her turned back and said, “I heard that Boss Jin intended to recruit people who are willing to go to the forest of Fallen.”

Zisang Yanruo nodded, “Yes, I am here for this! I just wondering, if the forest of Fallen is interesting.

Bao Ye raised his eyebrows.

It’s a piece of cake for her to go to the forest of Fallen, she can reached there with by flashing movement.

The male slave glared at Zisang Yanruo and corrected her, “The forest of Fallen is dangerous, it is not your playground.”

Zisang Yanruo stuck her tongue out with embarrassment.

Everyone in Jin’s team knew Bao Ye. For fear of their bad relationship affecting his mother’s application, Bao Ye left the queue and waited for her outside the crowd.

She completed application after ten o’clock.

Zisang Yanruo was in a hurry, “It’s near half past ten, I should go now. If my brother know about this, I can’t go out to have fun anymore.”

Bao Ye told her his address in the construction site.

Surprised and happy to know that he was working for Dongling Ce’s site, Zisang Yanruo felt it’s easier to see him in the future. “Okay, see you next time on the site!”

She waved to him happily and walked into the crowd, then disappeared.

Bao Ye felt pity that he didn’t chat with his mother much tonight, but it’s marvelous to make friend with her.

Lao Liu and little fish bone walked to him and joked, “Fell in love with that girl?”

The smile on Bao Ye’s face was widened. “Yes.” Replied him.

She was his mother, how could him don’t love his own mother?

Even if she was not his mother, the charm of her kind, lively and cute characteristics was hard to resist. What surprised him most is that, she didn’t discriminate his looks, and was willing to speak to an inferior slaves and even make friends with him! She was a god, but she never mind these.

Little fish bone commented, “You are well-matched.”

They were same in the same ugly dark complexion.

Lao Liu patted his shoulders, “Come on Bao Ye, you can get her heart.”

Bao Ye knew that they misunderstood, he didn’t explain much and left directly.
