51. See How Long Can You Bear

Translator: Guy Gone Bad

Touching his naked butt, Bao Ye was awkward.

This time, his “bird” was really freed.

Thanks to the dust and sand, people on the ground couldn’t see him naked and flied in the sky.

After Dongling Ce laughed to his satisfaction, he conveyed his voice to Bao Ye, “How is the scenery up in the sky?”

Bao Ye greeted each ancestor of Dongling Ce in his heart and horned his hands over his mouth to shout out, “It’s good!”

“How good is it?”

“I saw a beautiful woman…”

Dongling Ce raised his eyebrow: this guy is such a liar, how could him see a woman with sand and dust covering the sky.

“She keeps on crying and apologized to me. She said she is sorry about her son who is a naughty jerk and builds his happiness on other’s torture! She is regretting about giving birth to this animal!”

Dongling Ce squinted. Aha, this guy was cursing him.

He swung the rope in his hand. And Bao Ye was tossed to the east then to the west like a shuttlecock which was stroke back and forth.

Suddenly, something banged on Bao Ye’s face.

He quickly caught the stuff sliding down his face and took a look at it: it was a white dove.

Dongling Ce saw it too. He stopped swinging and commanded to Bao Ye, “Catch some doves and make soup for me.”

Bao Ye looked at the dove in his hand and felt speechless. The sky was fully covered by sand, how could he find more doves to make soup for the psycho?

At this moment, three figures flashed across him at the speed of running huge truck.

Bao Ye saw the profile of one figure and was shocked: he looked like one of his buddies thirties years later.

He immediately chased for them. But before he could follow them further, his wrist was pulled by the rope and he had to watch the three people vanished before him.

“Where are you going?” Dongling Ce’s laziness voice came to him.

“To catch the dove.” Bao Ye looked at the direction where the three figure disappeared and lied. He didn’t see them clearly due to the thick sand and high speed of the figures. Besides, his buddy wasn’t born in this age, it was impossible to see him.

Bao Ye returned to the building with two doves he caught.

Looked at the doves, Dongling Ce curved his lips, “Cook them for me, if it were not delicious, I will insert it into you through your lower body.”

“Let your chief cook it for you, I am not professional.” Bao Ye put the doves on the desk and pulled the tablecloth beside him to cover his naked lower body, “Even if I cook it well, but it would be nothing if your deny. And you will trick me again.”

Dongling Ce never gave him the chance to refuse. He swept him and the doves out of the office and called a mirror of mystery light, watching Bao Ye left with the doves disappointedly.

Dongling Ce smiled, “See how long can you bear.”

Bao Ye walked into the elevator with the doves. He met Lao Liu and other fellows at the third floor.

Lao Liu said to him worriedly, “The wind is too strong for the cooks to come here, and Deacon Tao command us to prepare the lunch. I haven’t seen other people to cook since I was born, I have no idea of cooking!”

Nian Gao replied in gloomy, “Me neither.”

The job of the slaves were distributed at the very beginning and the slaves couldn’t have the chance to watch other jobs. Cooking was the job for a certain of slaves, other slaves ate the meal prepared by the cook without seeing them to cook.

Bao Ye looked at the dove in his hand and asked, “Did Deacon Tao say how many shares we need to prepare?”

“He said that due to the heavy wind, there is only 15 people here, including his majesty.”

“Thanks to that.” Bao Ye came to the kitchen with them and assigned them with the tasks, “Lao Liu, Nian Gao, please help me to wash the vegetables and meat.”

“Can you cook?” Nian Gao doubted.

“A little.” Bao Ye had taken the task of cooking two years before his foster father deceased to reduce his burden.

“You are responsible for the dishes if his majesty dislikes it.” Nian Gao said immediately.

Bao Ye rolled his eyes at him. He handed the doves to Lao Liu, boiled the water and began to cook.

Nian Gao and Lao Liu were shocked at the Bao Ye’s high speed and skill of chopping the food. They thought Bao Ye was as professional as a chief, although they had never seen a chief cooking.

What surprised them more was the good taste of Bao Ye’s dishes. Compared with the food they had all the time, it could be called as delicacy.

The slave cooks needed to prepare the food for thousands of slaves, so being “fully-cooked” had been the top level of their dishes. The slaves ate almost the same food as they had in their workplace. Female slaves like Lao Liu’s elder sisters had neither seen cooking nor gotten any recipes, they even didn’t care about the food.

When it was time for lunch, the deacons and Dongling Ce were all astonished by the taste of Bao Ye’s dishes. Although his skills were still far from the chief, the dishes were delicious enough for them.

“Have you learnt to cook before?” Asked Dongling Ce.

“I learnt a little at my big brother’s dorm.” Bao Ye lied.

Dongling Ce picked up his chopsticks to have lunch without saying a word.

Bao Ye exited the office reverently. Noticing that the wind had paused, he teleported himself to the slave hut. The beds remained in the hut due to the spell he put last night.

He changed clothes quickly, carried on his belt bag and set out to continue his finding with the small notebook of Zhou Xiaochuan.

There were three hundred sixty-four people with a family name of Bao or pronounced as Bao. Leaving out the women and kids under fifteen years old, there were only sixty-four people.

When Bao Ye arrived at the Northern District, all he saw was fallen trees, collapsed huts, cluttered stuff, and wounded slaves lying on the ground and moaning.

They were all blown up by the gale then threw heavily on the ground, so most of them got broken legs.

Seeing such scene, Bao Ye prioritized saving the wounded before finding people. “Dude, your leg is broken, don’t move!”

He held down a male slave who was about to scramble to his feet and said, “Let me check, please.”

Shocked by his ugly face for a second, the man cried sadly, “Will my leg be ok?”

Bao Ye inserted his power into the slave’s body silently during the checking, “It will. As long as you rest well, it will recover.”

“Rest well…” The slave repeated in grief. As an inferior slave, how could him “rest well”?

Bao Ye fetched a piece of rag and wood boards to hold his injured leg.

He was so concentrated in treating slaves and didn’t notice that there were two men looking at him a little distance away.
