56. You Are Uglier (2)

Translator: Guy Gone Bad

The tornado finally stopped at the off hours. A strong smell of blood prevailed in the air, and a rain of garbage began.

Various rubbish and bodies fell from the sky, crushing to the ground with cruel sound.

Suffered from two catastrophes, the City Arrow was almost turned into ruins.

The three days in the next were peaceful. According to the previous experience, three days’ no disaster marked the end of the gods’ game.

The slaves were so happy that they would like to gather together and celebrate, but when they saw the corrupted and stint bodies on the ground, they couldn’t smile anymore.

With the encouragement of several slaves, the inferior slaves began to clean the garbage and the bodies. They carried the bodies to the body pit to burn, then found back the hut and bed blown away for reconstruction. If the material was insufficient, the slaves could only apply for material purchasing from the owner.

As long as the material was not expensive, the owner would approve their application.

The top slaves were responsible for helping the badly injured slaves and help them to stand up again—with the premise of the top slaves got a sympathetic boss, otherwise, the inferior slaves could only pray for not being harmed by the top ones.

However, was it really the end of the game of gods?

Staring at the crystal blue sky, Bao Ye curved his lips ironically. The gods must intend to crush their current happiness, that was the real purpose of the game.

“Arrived at the factory. Get off, all of you.” Deacon Zhu’s voice cut Bao Ye’s thought.

Bao Ye noticed that Jiang Yu didn’t dare to jump off the truck nimbly as before, instead, he looked around to find the proper angle for him to scramble off. “Jiang, what’s up?” Bao Ye asked.

Jiang Yu sighed, “I am too old to jump off like before.”

He was frightened badly by the game of the gods. The fear weakened his body and blunted his limbs.

“Let me check for you.” Bao Ye began to feel his pulse.

Jiang Yu got bunches of roots of diseases due to the years of hard working. Now as the increase of his age, all the roots began to grow into illness.

“Do you know medical? “Jiang Yu stared at Bao Ye in shock.

Bao Ye held Jiang Yu down, “Let me massage your legs and arms, you will feel better.”

Seeing Jiang Yu sat down, Deacon Zhu whipped his lash at him, “Get off! You buffer!”

Jiang Yu was frightened and almost to stand up, but he was held back to his seat by Bao Ye.

Bao Ye got hold of the lash whipped to him and spoke in a low voice, “Just a few moments.”

The slaves got off the truck all looked back at them.

“Ugly slave, how dare you resist my order?” Zhu raised his lash again.

Bao Ye glimpsed at him coldly. His sharp eyes throbbed Zhu’s heart with fear and held back his whipping lash.

Jiang Yu looked at Deacon Zhu in fear, then looked at Bao Ye, who was massaging his legs. He whispered, “Let’s do this when we are back.”

Bao Ye replied, “Just a few minutes.”

Du Peng and Xiao Wei looked at each other, they were both astonished at Bao Ye’s resisting for Jiang Yu.

Bao Ye relieved Jiang Yu’s strained tendons and recovered the damaged bones with his power. “Stand up and see if it gets better.”

Jiang Yu rose up to his feet and replied merrily, “My joints are not hurt anymore! Ugly slave, how did you do it?”

Bao Ye smiled without saying a word.

Deacon Zhu glared at Bao Ye. A touch of contemplation flashed across his eyes and he asked the driver to start the truck.

Staring at the leaving truck, Jiang Yu murmured, “The ugly slave seems to change.”

Xiao Wei sneered coldly, “Bowls of rice and a massage on your leg makes you feel that he is good. Don’t cry when he mounts on you some night.”

Jiang Yu turned pale.

Du Peng snorted, turned around, and headed for the factory.

Other slaves all followed behind him.

On the truck, Bao Ye noticed that the truck didn’t follow up the usual routine. “Where are we going?” He asked in doubt.

Deacon glimpsed at him, “You’ll know when you get there.”

Bao Ye thought it as another trick of Dongling Ce and he didn’t ask for more.

The truck drove them to the Western District.

The Western District was in extremely chaos and filthy. The garbage was not cleaned, the bodies were laid everywhere, and the injured got no helping hands. Mixed fumes and stint smell floated in the air, disgusting everyone who breathed it.

The truck hauled at the gate of a certain site.

Deacon Zhu jumped off the truck. “The slave is here.” He spoke to the two top slaves guarding at the gate.

One of two top slaves spitted on the ground, walked to the rear part of the truck. “Get your ass off!” He shouted at Bao Ye.

Bao Ye frowned and jumped off the truck.

“The slave is handed to you.” Deacon Zhu said to them.

“My boss said thank you to your owner.” Said the top slaves.

“Hem.” Deacon Zhu flipped up to get on the truck. “From now on, you work at the Western District. Boss Lu will arrange your job, and I won’t come here to fetch you back.” Looking at Bao Ye who was looking around, Deacon Zhu ordered.

Bao Ye frowned heavier when he heard Zhu speaking of Boss Lu. It shouldn’t be arranged by Dongling Ce, he didn’t need to put him in the Western District for tricking him.

Who was the owner they mentioned?

Bao Ye thought for a while.

Yes, the real owner of the ugly slave was not Dongling Ce, he was the slave owner who assigned him to work at Dongling Ce’s construction site.

“What does his majesty want me here?”
