One Night With The Prince

Everyone stood up when President Grant entered the room. Simultaneously, every single person inside the meeting room greeted him.

"Good morning, Mr. President!"

Instead of sitting right away, President Grant stood still and addressed every one of them.

"Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! Thank you for coming. I asked all of you to come here today for one reason only, and that's to give me a piece of good advice in regards to an extraordinary person in my life. " President Grant stopped for a moment and looked around the room if everyone was paying attention.

Once he verified that everyone was paying attention to him and he had their full attention, he continued with his speech.

" What I want to ask all of you is very important to me and my seat as the president. Therefore, please think carefully about what you would advise me to do. It will have an effect on our future candidacy for a second term. "He motioned to his assistant to hand over the folder to each and everyone, including Ms. Garcia, who was sitting quietly unsure what her role in the process was.

He waited until everyone had a copy of the file before he resumed speaking once again. "As you all can see, I have a family member that recently joined. To be more precise, a daughter..."

"A dear one to me. She is a product of my 'first love', who passed away in a car accident right after our daughter was born." President Grant's voice started to crack as he talked about the only woman he ever loved.

"What I want to know and need a bit of advice from all of you about is how I should go about this. I want to announce to the world that she is my daughter, but I am afraid that it would affect many things. For instance, my infidelity would be questioned for sure. So, I want you all to analyze the situation and advice me what should I do?"

Every one of the advisors was quiet while they were reading Alexa's profile. The only sound they could hear in the whole room was shuffling of papers as they read through the doc.u.ments.

President Grant got up and excused himself, thereby giving the advisors time to discuss. He used the time to see what Alexa was doing and hoping she was presentable so he could invite her to the meeting.

When President Grant arrived at Alexa's room, she was nowhere to be found neither were any of her three secret services details. He didn't have any choice but to go back to the meeting and continue the discussion.

They had almost finished what they were doing when Alexa's phone started flashing. Ria saw it and checked it out, in case it was the President looking for Alexa.

Ria did not make a mistake; the number that was flashing was from the President's phone. She picked up the phone and handed it over to Alexa to answer. "It's your father!" Ria said nonchalantly.

Alexa accepted the phone and excitedly answered the phone. "Hello! Alexa speaking, how can I help you!" She spoke as professional as she could, knowing full well that it's the President on the other end of the line. She wanted to show off her professionalism to her father.

"Hahaha! Is that how you really answer your phone or is it just for me?" President Grant asked with a smile on his voice.

"I'm sorry to disappoint you, Sir, Mr. President, but no! I was trying to show off. Hahaha!" She said with laughter in her voice.

"Hahaha! I understand! By the way, do you have a minute? I need you to do me a favor, could you come here to the Oval Office? There's something we need to discuss. It is in regards to your future with Ms. Garcia." President Grant told her straight up.

Alexa was over the moon when she heard that the President was discussing her future with Ms. Garcia. That could only mean one thing; he had agreed to let her train under the best teacher of all.

Alexa quickly finished the conversation and told Ria that she needed to make herself as pretty as she could. She would be meeting with the President and will discuss her future as Beatury Queen trainee under the best teacher, Ms. Garcia. "Hahaha! My dreams would come true, that's for sure!" She was happily telling her three bodyguards.

Meanwhile, the President's group of advisors had finished their evaluation of Alexa's matter. Each and everyone gave an opinion and advice about the case. The President accepted it and decided to comply for the future of his second term as the President of the United States of America.

The conclusion, Alexa would not be announced as his daughter for the time being. They would wait until he finished his first term and wait if he succeeded in winning the second time around, then they would divulge to the whole world that Alexa is his one and only Princess.

For the meantime, he would let Ms. Garcia train her so she could fulfill her dream of becoming a beauty queen while continuing her education. He would prefer she studied Political Science and Law, that way in the future she could also run for office. However, he wanted that to be Alexa's decision, and the President knew that he would let her decide...

Back in Ritz-Carlton hotel, Pierre had been scouting the lobby as soon as he woke up, hoping to run into Ms. Garcia. Unfortunately, luck was not on his side, as Ms. Garcia had just left when he arrived. Leaving him standing guard for nothing!

Prince Alexander got up with a massive headache and did not have any plan on going anywhere. He stayed laying down on his bed while in deep thought. 'I guess I'm being punished for the way I have been playing around and making ladies cry left and right. Now, I'm the one who is crying because of one woman...I guess I deserved it for what I have done.'

"God, If you're listening, I only have one request: please, give me a chance to prove to her that I'm the right man for her!" Prince Alex shouted out loud then, "Sigh!"...

Prince Alexander had no idea that sooner than later, his prayers would be answered and they would see how he would be able to fair with Miss Alexa Grant, who has a lot of dreams to fulfill.
