“High energy reaction detected ahead!”

While Sneck and Fast Fist Man were happily beating up Tanktop Boxer, a cold mechanical voice suddenly rang, accompanied by the thunderous explosion of the primary school research institute’s wall.

Boom!

The wall turned into rubble, and dust gathered.

“Warning! Warning! Enemy attack detected! Enemy attack detected!”

The primary school research institute’s defense system immediately issued an alarm. The robots docked in the storage area lit up and turned to the destroyed wall in unison.

Whoosh!

Their mechanical bodies emitted a sound similar to an engine. Their hands and feet twisted a few times, and then they quickly rushed to the destroyed walls to protect the research institute.

“Who is it?”

Sneck and Fast Fist Man were stunned by the sudden explosion, and they stared blankly at the hole filled with dust and smoke in the wall.

“Hey, Child Emperor, do you have unfinished business?”

King was shocked. Someone had actually blasted Child Emperor’s primary school research institute. Which thief had thought himself a lion?

“From the sound… it should be a robot.”

Child Emperor stared at the wall covered in dust with a serious expression. Robot… Then who sent this robot? After all, robots were different from Monsters. There must be a creator behind each robot. Who was the creator that attacked the primary school research institute? Was it a doctor?

“Robot?”

King nodded in agreement. That cold mechanical voice was very similar to System’s voice in his mind. It was very likely that it was a robot.

The dust slowly dispersed, and the hole in the wall became fully visible. However, no other sign of the robot remained. It was as if the robot had never appeared.

“Where is it? Did it leave after firing a shot? Is it just provoking us?”

King and the others were puzzled.

However, a tall figure suddenly appeared, wiping everyone’s puzzlement. It smashed open the wall of the primary school research institute like a crashing truck. Dust rose again, but the looming tall figure stayed this time.

“Beep! Discovering target!”

“Beep! Target confirmed!”

The cold electronic voice announced from behind the dust.

“Child Emperor, it’s coming for you.”

King glanced at the frowning Child Emperor and laughed. Of course, this little Child Emperor brat also had enemies! This is going to be a good show.

The tall figure stepped out of the dust. The constant sound of moving mechanical joints gave off an oppressive aura.

“It really is a robot powered by artificial intelligence!”

The tall figure’s true face was finally revealed after it walked out of the dust. The robot was nearly three meters tall, made of black metal reminiscent of ancient battle armor. The head was similarly shaped like an ancient battle helmet, with a singular electronic eye in the middle. The angles were sharp, the shape was cold, and the ratio was perfect; it looked equal parts like a fierce gorilla and a powerful Gundam. Continuing the ancient warrior theme, it carried a massive sword and wore a fur cloak reminiscent of noble generals.

“Intruder, stop or be destroyed!”

The fighting robot led other robots to block the intruder.

“Those who get in my way will be annihilated!”

But the “Gundam” was even more direct. Its eye swept between the fighting robots before it, and it suddenly pulled out the two-meter-long broadsword on its back. It swept the broadsword in a large arc.

Swoosh!

The “Gundam” robot sliced the primary school institute’s fighting robots in half with that single slash.

Sneck and the others were dumbfounded. Wasn’t that the robot that tortured them just now? And it was finished with a single move?

“Oops. This is bad. Because the fighting robots were configured to move based on the information given by Bookworm, they would ignore attacks that Bookworm cannot predict.” Child Emperor explained bitterly. “Bookworm predicts attack by analyzing muscle movements, but this robot obviously doesn’t have muscles, so Bookworm is completely useless. The fighting robots also become unable to respond to attacks.”

The Gundam robot stepped over the remains of Child Emperor’s fighting robots and walked towards King and the others, surveying them. It pointed its greatsword at King and said coldly, “I am G1, the combat robot built by the Organization. You’re the strongest Hero—King, correct?”

“Huh? Organization? They came for me?”

King was confused. Hey, hey, you must be mistaken. How could a good-natured otaku like me have enemies?
