The eve dropping ape quickly came back to his tribe to meet the chief. After passing many caves he arrived at the biggest one and kneeled before it. After hearing the approval to enter the ape without wasting a second entered the cave. Inside the cave was a gigantic ape that was as big as a dragon of course only in size.

The servant ape kneeled and said, "Oh great overlord I bought some great news. That foul creature that killed the Wyvern leader was beaten by one living creature. I saw it with my own eyes. That foul creature was angered by his loss from the other creatures hands! He created a statue of the creature and I could see his face!"

The chief looked at servant ape and asked, "What does it have to do with us?"

The servant answered, "That living creature looked just like us. He was smaller than us and had almost no fur. But I'm sure he is too one of us. I suspect he is chosen one from our race!"

Hearing him Chief asked that servant to continue. He did as commanded and started saying, "That foul creature was chosen one from lizard race. I think if we try like them chosen one would eventually be born in our race. Just like that living creature that beat the foul creature!"

Chief was in deep thought and asked, "How do we start?"

The servant answered, "We have to be more like that living creature. He had no fur so we too have to get rid of it. He was shorter so we too have to get shorter." Just after he said those words servant was sent flying.

Chief was clearly enraged by the servants words. He said, "How dare you say this to me. Our fur represents our glorious Origin. How could we get rid of them. Our bodies are inherited from our ancestors how could we just abandon them. For insulting our pride and ancestors you have to be locked up for years to come." After he said that he looked at his guards and said, "Lock this traitor up and never let me see him!"

Servant wanted to say something but was quickly taken out. And was taken to the prison.

Chief's anger quickly subsided but he just couldn't forget that servants words.

That same night when Chief was asleep he dreamt of the chosen one. In his dream he was teleported into the library full of books. He could see them but can't touch any except for one. He touched that book and information flooded him. Information about a human race. After that he woke up and looked around. He was still in his cave. For the following days Chief always dreamt of the humans. He saw those beautiful creatures and wanted be as beautiful as they are. Slowly it became an obsession. Every time he looked at his tribesman he couldn't hold himself but vomit.

They were too ugly. Every time he looked at his wife he would have the greatest urge to puke. The once beautiful wife turned into a disgusting monster that was hard to look at. Over time his obsession took over him and he ordered all the apes to shave their furs. Many disagreed but he quickly silenced them. Only the strongest could be Chief that's why nobody could go against his orders. His orders were like a death sentence for the tribe. Without their fur how could they survive harsh winter?

But still nothing could change Chiefs mind. After that every ape shaved their fur. Chief thought after they shaved themselves they could be more beautiful but in the Chiefs eye they became more hideous. He looked at his reflection on the mana crystal that was everywhere and was enraged what he saw. I'm beautiful he thought to himself not some hideous monster. He ordered every mana crystal to be destroyed.

His orders were devastating for the tribe as the mana crystal was their core treasure. This cave was full of mana crystals that could increase the power of anyone that it's close to. That was the reason for their immense strength and if all the mana crystals were destroyed it would be a lot harder to increase their power.

Sadly no one could go against Chiefs orders and all the mana crystals were destroyed. Anger was keeping building up in every apes heart. Only thing they now wanted to do was to get rid of incompetent Chief.

Chief himself too wasn't that happy. He wanted to be like those beautiful creatures that he read about in a book. He wanted to be like them. In the corner of the room his wife was crying. Her face was full of wounds and bruises. With a terrified face she looked at her husband and asked, "Why are you doing this to us! You're hated by the tribe!"

Chief looked at his unsightly wife and roared, "You ugly thing! How could you talk to me like that!"

Just after he said that he heard his wife's cry. She was giving birth. Chief just ignored her and looked at the statue of the humans that he erected using his imagination. He kept touching the statue yearning to be a human. He said, "I want to be a human. A beautiful human just like in my dreams. I would sacrifice all my power for that beauty alone!" Just after he said that he heard a cry.

He looked towards the sound and saw a tiny fur less creature. There were two creatures one big and muscular with a beautiful fur. He made no noise and was full of pride. And other one ugly with a distorted face that always cried. He had no fur and looked weak. But for the Chief he was most beautiful creature that ever existed.
