" Master, we should pick Sakura ourselves and not let her go to the hospital like the other students. " said Alexander.

" Why? " asked Shirou.

" I believe that assassin's target was Sakura and she was the reason of this attack on the school. " said Alexander as he carried Sakura in his arm.

" Is that related to the man you talked about in the Matou Residence ? " asked Shirou

" Yes. I believe that this man is the master of true assassin and the one that is behind this formation and attack. It seems that Sakura is truly important for him and he needed to retrieve her. Therefore the safest move would be to protect Sakura ourselves. " said Alexander

" I see. Well we have rooms to spare at home so I don't see the problem. " said Shirou.

The group was about to leave the building to escape the people that were here to rescue the students, they decided to head towards the small forest to escape the school first.

" Shirou! " said Saber as she stopped her master's mouvement and placed herself in front of the group and made her sword appear once again.

" I'm surprised to see Saber with you. " said Archer who appeared in front of them.

" Archer! What's with you showing so late ? " asked Rin

" Isn't that obvious ? I sensed a threat to my Master and rushed to her side. But it appears I was too late. " said nonchalently Archer with his arm on his waist.

" Yes of course it is, it's all over. I'll make sure to fill you in on what happened while you took your sweet time so just stand there and listen ! " said Rin looking pissed at Archer's attitude.

" *tch*, looks like I arrived at the worst time possible. " said Archer, exhasperated by Rin's behavior.

" You cannot be more right! Sakura was nearly abducted and another new servant appeared and now you decide to show up? " said Rin with her arms crossed.

" All right, all right. Next time I'll rush to your side immediatly. Well, what exactly happened here ? " said Archer now looking serious.

" Let's not talk here Archer, let's move to the forest east. " said Rin as she looked through the window and saw the ambulances taking some students in.

The group arrived in the forest with the unconscious Sakura and Rin explained the situation to Archer.

" I see, this new assassin could be more troublesome than the other samurai, even though he was stupid, atleast his mouvements were predictable. Now a true assassin has entered the frey and he fights like one. " said Archer.

" Archer, you are in no position to call assassin stupid. " said Saber, slightly unerved by Archer's comments.

" Of course I am, although his skill were decent as a swordsman, he was ultimately just caster's dog and apart from his swords skill, he truly had nothing else. " said Archer, looking for some trouble with Saber.

" You would dare insult a hero's pride? Archer. " said Saber as she looked even more angry at Archer.

" Hero's pride ? Don't make me laugh, he was just a lackey in the end. " said Archer looking at Saber's behaviour.

" Well said. Then would you like to fight me, Archer ? " said Saber as she made her sword appear.

" I am compelled by a command spell to not fight you. If I were to fight you right now, I would just die uselessly. Is that the extent of your code of chivalry, Saber ? " said Archer with a small grin on his face.

At his word, Saber stayed silent but she was gritting her teeth at Archer's words and if it wasn't for the command spells, she would have probably engaged Archer already. To break the silence and the tense atmosphere, Alexander sighed and thought that Archer truly had a way to get under people's skin for absolutely no reason.

" I know I may be interrupting your childish banter, but I believe we have more important things to do, I would like to remind you that we have an unconscious person targetted by a servant right here so it would be wise to just not stand here and fight amongst ourselves. " said Alexander.

His words stopped both Archer and Saber from continuing their verbal fight and Saber made her sword disappear.

" Anyway, now we need to make plans on how to engage on Caster's master. " said Alexander, earning a surprised look from Archer.

" You know who is caster's master? " asked Archer.

" In fact, everyone except you knows since you're always away when something big happens Archer. " said Rin looking slightly pissed.

Archer wanted to refute that statement, but he realized that what she said was right and decided to just not say anything, which earned a slight smug face from Rin.

" Then, does caster's master still possesses free will? Considering caster's persona, I doubt that she would let anyone not under her thumb. I think her very first move was to turn her master into a puppet. " said Archer.

" I didn't check, but yes it's possible. Obviously, Caster wouldn't let her master without defenses in the first place so maybe the fact that her master is still coming to school without any apparent prevention tactics is a trap for us. After all, Caster knows that Shirou and Rin are in this school aswell. " said Alexander with Sakura still in his arms.

In the end, Both groups retreated and went home after today's events.

At the Emiya residence, Sakura was put to sleep into one of the extra rooms the house had after Alexander checked her status and if there was any danger left.

" Ehh? You want to sleep in the same room as me? " asked Shirou as he nearly dropped his bowl of rice.

"Of course, to prevent last night's failure, I shall sleep in your room. I hope that you have no problem with that." said Saber as she drank her tea.

" I do! Big problems moreover! " said Shirou.

" When it comes down to it, it's your fault for falling victim to remote hypnosis from such a great distance. I cannot protect you from Caster's magic, so it's natural that I atleast stay in the same room. " said Saber.

" Well, that's a pretty sound argument, but wouldn't it be better if Alexander was the one to do this instead ? " said Shirou.

When she was about to slam her cup on the table, Saber was stopped by Shirou's sentence. She looked at Alexander who was accross her to ask for confirmation but she saw him looking at the walls. She noticed during the war that he could see a lot more things than normal people could with his eyes and he could probably look through walls aswell. But she became mesmerized by Alexander's face that she kept looking at him with a dazed expression.In the end she was still as curious as before about his identity. Meanwhile, Shirou was very uncomfortable looking at Saber's expression. He felt like some sort of third wheel here and was about to say something to get Saber out of her daze, Alexander stopped looking at the wall and turned around and saw Saber's expression.

" What's wrong ? " asked Alexander and his words got Saber out of her thoughts and she blushed a little before dismissing the issue.

" Anyways, we wanted to hear your thought on our suggestion for you to sleep in the same room as Shirou for protection. " said Saber.

" I don't mind, in fact I guess we could answer faster if something happens again. " said Alexander as he drank the last bit of tea inside his cup.

In the end, Alexander was sleeping in Shirou's room and Saber was sleeping in the room next to him. While Shirou was dreaming and Saber was simply resting since she didn't need to sleep as a servant, Alexander was frowning thinking back at the things he saw after dinner. The situation in North America wasn't pretty, the threats he had to eliminate were getting more and more territory and Type-Mercury was having trouble with these invaders. The threats weren't getting stronger, they were simply just showing more of their powers over time and ORT couldn't keep up with it. The counter force was already starting to realize the problem and was stirring.

Alexander spent the night thinking about the multiple problems he had to deal with in this timeline and world.
