OverGod Of Yggdrasil

Chapter 5 - Treasure Hall

After adjourning the meeting with his family, Lain decides it was time to visit one of the most forbidden place inside his palace, the Treasure Hall.

The Treasure Hall is one of the most essential place inside the palace. It alone could save the Guild even if the Guild was about to fall.

The importance of the Treasure Hall wouldn't be lower than an entire floor of the Guild which is shocking, considering that each floor of the Guild was a world.

A place was more important than a world!

The items inside would cause bloodshed if taken out, as they were far too rare.

The Treasure Hall didn't just have weapons, no, it had mountain range of gold coins, scroll sealing incridible power, summoning scrolls.

The resource inside could create one of the most famed Guild inside YGGDRASIL easily and still have many more resource to create more.

Each of the items inside wouldnt be too inferior to World Class Items, especially the ten most powerful Fake World Class Items inside the treasure.

These ten Fake World Class Items are Divine Class Items that were infuse with many rare metals and high grade materials that cause them to become more than a Divine Class Item bit below a World Class Item, thus making them a Fake World Class Item.

From all the above mention, one could tell that the Treasure Hall is a very important place that could benefit the Guild in a Good or a Bad way depending on who is using them.

Because of the importance of the Treasure Hall, the security for this place was higher than even the combine power of the floors.

This place alone had a being capable of fighting all the Guardians, expect the Gaurdains of Golden Nation, Dual-headed Dragon.

The Łórd of Many Colors is a Nine-head Hydra, which is as rare as Dragon. This Hydra is also a very high level Npc that would be hard press to defeat without a team of professional players.

Each head of the hydra has an affinity to an element, making fighting it as hard a fighting nine level hundred players at once, even while being a level 100 being.

The Hydra had said to have fought the strongest Npc, the Dual-headed Dragon, of the guild and came out uninjured. This didn't mean that it won but it still showed that the Hydra was not a being to mess with.

Inside Yggdrasil , the most powerful race is the Dragon Racs. Even the youngest could battle a player of equal level and win. Little had to be said about an Ancient Dragon that are far more powerful than even the NPc Gods.

An Ancient Dragon is above many but below one, the Primordial Dragons!

These creatures are on the level of event bosses, while some powerful ones being a World Boss.

Lain teleported inside the treasure hall, which was far from one would expect of a place that had such a unique status.

The Treaure Hall was pitch black that one could not see anything. From the ceiling of the treaure hall, droplets of water drop from the ceiling.

At the end of the treasure hall , there huge black gate that seem to lead into a dark abyss. The darkness surrounding the door fluctuated, blocking the eyes of whoever wishes to look deeper in its depths.

Since Lain had [Night Vision] he was able to see the area in a single glance. Lain wave his hand, creating a fireball that became many smaller ones, which lit up the torches that were place on both sides of the walls.

With the emergence of light, the hall became plain and ordinary before his eyes. With the light, Lain could see the gate clearer than before.

An ordinary being would freeze the moment they look at the gate as they would looking at a frightening beast.

In front of the gate, was a freaking Hydra, a huge Mammoth size beast. The beast was far bigger than many of the beast of the Dragon Race, espically with all nine heads combined.

The Hydra was currently sleeping peacefully, creating a weird scene. Each time the Hydra inhale, the hallway would lack air, and when it exhale, it become full of moisture.

Looking at the Hydra, Lain signed and walk towards the gate with Gaia and Diana walking behind him.

Lain has brought them along so they could pick weapons form the treasure they could use protect them in the event they were separated.

As Lain approaches the Hydra and the black gate, the snoring stopped as the Nine-head Hydra opened its eyes, glancing at the figure before it.

Lain ignore the Hydra, however the same couldn't be said about Gaia and Diana as they were fuming at how insolent the beast was to the great Lain End Chaos.

Looking at the two as he sense the presence of killing intent, Lain spoke, " The two of you that's enough. Casf is not to be blame about his attutude as I creating him to be so. Also, it's only naturally as a powerful being that protect the secrets of the World Tree Guild he would become arrogant. Epically considering that his job is twice as important than many others in the Guild." Lain explain the best he could less a battle start.

Lain didn't lie as he indeed created Casf to be this way. He wanted a determined Npc that would put the protection of the Treasurey above everything else, including its life.

Casf would only attack a person if they are not of the Guild when they arrive inside the treasure hall, other than that, it would protect the treasures behind the door with its life.

Calming the two down, Lain walked to the door and push the door open.

This might seem to be easy, but only Lain knew how hard it is to open the door.

To open this door, one must use incrideble amount of strength, which was beyond what a player capable of.

The black gate can only be open after infinite amount of strength course through it in a instant.

This makes iot so that only members of the Chaos Titan Race and a few luckily individuals could open it.

The use of the portal is for an infinite amount of undead to surge through wilting the strength of the opposition. If they were unlucky, the undead would push the invaders into the portal, making them arrive back into the First Dloor.

Leading the two woman into the room, Lain told them to pick some items form the mountain of Divine Class items.

Even though the Guild lack more than one World Class items, the same couldn't be said about Divine Class items.

The room was blinding as inside the treasure room , there were many treasures flying around, some hanging on display but most of the divine items were scatter all over the ground, making a divine item mountain range.

Lain turn to Gaia and Diana. " You can pick any weapon. This new world that I found is an opportunity for the Guild, however I want to grantee you safety first. Since I'm talking about this, I might as well continue. When we arrive in that world, in the event that your life is in danger, I want you to escape. If escape is impossible, make signal I will recognized so I can rush to you sides." Lain face was serious as he spoke as he didn't want anything bad to happen to them, after all they were his precious family members, something he lack in the real world.

If Lain had a choice, he would forbid them from leaving but he knew that he couldn't. They were his family but above all, they were his Guardians, so asking them to sit this out would belittling their abilities and positions.

Lain didn't want them to feel like ornaments to be look at but had no power.

The two woman nodded feeling happy with the concern of Lain. The more they are around him, the more they knew he had change, it was as if he was a different person.

The two went along with what Lain said, looking for weapons that fit themselves. It was actually hard to do especially considering there were too many choices to chose form.

After hours of searching in through the pile of weapons, the two found what the were looking for.

The two were feeling sad as they wanted to equip everything, not just a set of Divine Class Items.

Equipping their Divine Class items, the two woman look complete different than before.

Gaia was wearing a crimson armor cover her entire body, her head include.

The armor was seamline with a draconian appeareance. The head of the armpit was a dragon head with huge horns pericing out at its temples.

The hand of the armor was a dragon arms, each with sharp claws that seem to be able to turn anything into paper.

On the back of the armor, there was a small black cape with a dragon embraided on it. The dragon was going around a circle, with the dragon eating the dragon tail.

The armor look like an item from legends. Just being around the armpit one could cause one to sweat and in constant fear.

Lain nodded at Gaia , " Armor of the Ancient Fire Dragon is able to increase the defense and attack stat of a anyone wearing it. With your main Divine Class item , the Contract Ring, that is able to make beast in the surround to aid you, with these items, your power will increase by at least 25%." Lain turned to Diana, " Divine Robe of Healing increase the casting speed of healing spells and has a one day ability to cast a Ten Tier spell for free. With your book of Divine God, you are a force to be reckon with on the battle field, as you can buff your allies and debuff your enemies."

Lain nodded after telling them what their items could do.

Lain was happy as he knew they had made a good choice, although he would have prefer if Daina had chosen a set of items that could protect herself with in case an enemy broke through her allies, if she had any protecting her.

Lain signed as he secretly cast [ Priest Of the OverGod] which allows the target to gain some levels and racial skills of the Chaos Titans on Diana and Gaia.

Lain then teleported outside the world he found, arrive in space. The atmosphere of space c.a.r.e.s.sing their skins, making them have a sense of peace.

This was actuall an test on his part, as he wanted to know if he, no, them could survive in the fabric of space. Of course Lain knew of the dangers involve, but he knew he had to risk it, less this interfere in their path of conquering the universe.

Lain after sensing the sensation of the voilent deadly air of space c.a.r.e.s.sing his skin, Lain remembered that he haven't heard anything from the two behind him.

Turning around, Lain notice that Gaia and Diana were looking at the world below them in amazement, ignoring the danger involve in the teleportation. Maybe the two didn't realize it? Who knows!

This was different than he expected, as he kinda expect for them to freeze.

Seeing how relax his wife and daughter were, Lain wondered if it was just them that were like this or was it everyone. No, that couldn't be it, it might just be the result of levels, the higher the levels the more they could indure.

Or it could be that every Heteromorphic being could have an advantage over every other race inside Yggdrasil. This would mean that members of the Guild could have an advantage in many situation.
