Please, It’s Just A Story!!

Meixiu Lee slips away as fast as she could. Knowing that her son was gonna find who the blind date was through her, so she left.

Taking steps towards the elevator, she looked at the kid beside her, and their hand holding each other. During their conversation he hadn't spoken a single word, but was engrossed with reading a comic book.

"Haru" she softly called.

The little boy raised his head and looked at her. His eyes were shining and his innocent face looked at her with questions.

"What's wrong Grandma?" His soft voice was enough to melt her with happiness.

'Look at this angel grandson of mines!!' She kept her crazy thoughts to her self.

"I'm sad Haru, you find a comic on more important than me" Meixiu pouted and look at her grandson.

"No,no,no Grandma, I wasn't ignoring you I was just reading this amazing book!" He said it so innocently and naively that she felt that teasing this child would be a sin!

"Really now" she said and acted.

"Of course! Why should I lie?" He said.

"Alright! Now let's head home." Meixiu and Haru continued down the hallway and was almost at the elevator.

"Hey Haru, why do you like this book so much" Meixiu asked.

"Because I like Detective Izumi! He feels relatable to me as he doesn't have a mom or dad." Haru said and soft tone.

Meixiu froze on the other hand. She felt her heart split apart when she remembered her eldest son. She had a quick flashback.

"What?..he missing..?" when Kazuki said this to her she fell down at the police station.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE'S GONE?!!! WHERE'S MY SON?! FIND HIM PLEASE! I'M BEGGING YOU OFFICER! PLEASE FIND HIM!" The constant yelling of her mourning and grieving she had when she lost her son.

"Please find him..." the silent cries of the past make her feel sad till today.

"Grandma..Grandma!" Haru was calling out for Meixiu when she didn't reply for awhile until she heard the elevator.

"Ding!" Was the elevator. It slowly opened and a slim figure walked out.

Meixiu was taken back when she saw Elaina walk out. Then she smiled gently and greeted her.

Elaina was equally stunned when she saw CEO's Mother.

"Eli,it's nice to see you!" She said in a happy tone and gave her a bright smile.

"Hello, Madam!" Elaina came out of her shock and smiled kindly at her.
