Please, It’s Just A Story!!

"Jie Jie, I think you should avoid that hospital and its better if I drop you off to work." Ming Lan laid out her worries for Elaina, but all she got in return was a painful smile.

Ming Lan looked at the dark cloud looming over Elaina when she smiled. She got up and took the mop from her.

"Go rest. It's just mopping and we've already finished most of it, all that's left is laundry so leave it to me! Go on and take a soothing shower" with that Ming Lan mopped away and all that Elaina could do was agree because she knew why Ming Lan did that.

With that she walked away. Ming Lan looked at the lone figure that disappeared and felt helpless since she couldn't help her even if she tried.

She knew what Elaina was going to say even without her voicing it out loud.

Daisuke

She was certain that Elaina would avoid them because of Daisuke. Not only was he young but he was also a boy of the eldest child of the Glowne Family. Nothing as messier as this could bother that strong woman.

Daisuke was practically a secret form the whole family. She knew Elaina and her father did everything to cover this fact and even sent him to elite school and hide the tracks as much as possible. He was the only treasure they had.

They left the country only to lose what was important and now they have nothing left but protect Daisuke from Elaina's father side of the family.

Ming Lan truly pitied Elaina. She remembered the calm woman in a deadly society called business. She brought in pride and admiration to the people around her. She was calm, m.a.t.u.r.e, elegant but most of all talented.

But it ultimately broke her to the point of no return. And now was left with the shell of her original self.
