Please, It’s Just A Story!!

When Kazuki returned to his office.

He was in a daze.

'Dame it! What gift is good for a boy?!' He was muttering over the fact that he hadn't got a gift for Haru.

'2 weeks left and I found nothing!' He sighed.

"Damn it!" He felt like swearing out loud.

He chose to visit his younger brother tomorrow and ask him what gift he bought. But at the same time he wanted to avoid being laughed at by this younger brother.

He took a deep breath, calmed down and pick up the papers next to his laptop.

Reading file after file and going back and forth from his laptop to paper. He felt mentally drained. 2 hours have past and couldn't get his mind off... the present he needed to prepare.

'Ah f.u.c.k it!' He was silently cursing everything.

Kazuki ruffled his hair with his hand and pulled out a cigarette from the drawer.

'Huff. I'm tired.'

He glanced at the photo next the the desk. The man was holding a baby.

He closed his eyes and thought about the time he was in the army. "Tch." He smiled in grief.

Back then his days were alright. He didn't want to take the military route but his father and grandfather insisted, that all 3 sons had to.

They decided that each of them goes to the military for a period of time and then decided if they want to continue training or choose a different path.

It was Kazuki turn. Having a military background for generations he continued his so called-journey....

...until his Eldest Sister-in-law died during birth.

To this day he was haunted by his eldest brother face. When he rushed to the hospital that day he never forget it.

Miserable.

His brother looked like he lost his soul when the doctor said they couldn't save his wife but only could save the 10 month child in her w.o.m.b.

Kazuki and Kioshi were worried about leaving him on his own. The following weeks were hell for them. Going back and forth taking care of the child and their eldest brother.

But the first outburst started with Kioshi

" Katashi Lee! Get a hold of yourself! You still have your son! Mizuki would be disappointed if you didn't take care of him!" Kioshi yelled at his eldest brother.

"You need to calm down! You've been wasting away in your room for the past 3 weeks, leaving your child to cry! If I didn't come here with Kazuki, Hikaru would continue crying forever!"

"Brother, if Eldest Sister-in-law saw you she-"

"She's not coming back..."

"But-" before he continued he felt pain on his back.

"She's not coming back!!" Katashi grab Kioshi by the collar and threw him down.

" Katashi Lee! What are you doing?!" Kazuki yelled as he stop him from beating Kioshi to black and blue.

"You dumbass!! Don't you see your a father?!! Or do you want me to spell it out that the famous violinist Mizuki Lee is dead!" Kazuki yelled at him.

Kazuki was kicked in the stomach and fell down. He was soon bombarded by punches everywhere.

"You think I don't know?"

"..." both brothers fell silent.

" No matter how much I wish it. She'll never come back. She's gone forever. You said it yourself...you know she said after our son was born we would travel to Paris to play our a Music....

But now she's gone..how will I play my music?" Katashi tears were flowing out of his eyes.

"...you idiot. If Sis-in-law saw you she would laugh." Kazuki said.
