"Damn it! He just changed his hair and wear classy clothes to school. Why the girls are all over him?"

The Boys are jealous of me.

"Yeah, aren't you happy because you have such a great boyfriend by your side?"

She look at me with a disgusted face. Well that mean she didn't think so.

from the school start, till the end of school, it's just like that. The boys were glaring and the girls were cheering. Under my table, it's flooded with love letter. Not just at the table, but in the locker, the bag, even in my gym shoes. it's kinda annoying for me, although it is fun at some points.

"You look like you're enjoying yourself." Said Ana who is walking home beside me.

I swear to god she could read my mind. How does she know what I'm feeling right now?

"Because you're saying it out loud."

"Damn it! I did it again.!"

"Well, at least you don't think you're an extra in a movie anymore."

"Thanks to you." I smile at her. But she didn't respond with any reaction.

We separate our ways at some point and go home.

It's almost the time for New Year's Eve. I didn't realise it because so much had happened this year. Gwen is not my real sister, Xavier has a crush for my girlfriend, and the accident. It's bizarre when I think about it.

Everyone just busy preparing at the upcoming festival. It's a festival that annually organized at New Year's Eve.

Every year this festival has so many event, from the fireworks, the food at the stall, and even dance performance. That maybe the reason why it is the most anticipated event in the area, and packed with so many people.

This year, it's expected to be even bigger and better than before. They had prepared so many colourful fireworks and all kind of performance for this time. That's why I'm determined to not miss this year's festival.

I had told Ana about the festival. I asked her to go there together, early in the morning by text. She agreed and told me to wait at the entrance.

That festival is tonight.
