Giyon struggled to move, but the opponent is just as strong as her and both of them started wrestling.

The opponent seemed to have a special constitution of earth elements. Her body acted like quicksand and particularly when she is in full fusion mode, not only was she able to manipulate her body as she liked, she can even use that flexibility to throw off most of Giyon's ripple energy attacks with proper timing.

Giyon panicked. Not only was her brother in trouble, but now she was in too. She also tried to reach out and crush her escape token, but she was unable to do as the sand covered her palms and she was held in a deadlock.

Gail and Gamin who saw all of this from the wall also panicked.

They were about to make a move, but Sam's voice appeared in their communication tokens.

"Don't move. I will hand this."

Sam said as he took out his cannon. He started loading it with his spiritual energy as he aimed at the group.

This time, the energy he loaded is a very small amount compared to the previous shots he took. The people are in a very close range and it is very easy for him to hurt Giyon and Grivon if the attack is too powerful.

It has to be concentrated and precise.

So, he carefully aimed and compressed the energy to modify the bullet to a short and precise shot.

*BOOM*

A slight explosion shot the bullet and it went straight into the head of one of the persons that held Grivon.

He loaded another bullet and shot it at Giyon's opponent.

*BOOM*

The Bullet was shot and hit the head of the opponent. But to his surprise, the opponent didn't release Giyon. In fact, she acted as nothing happened to her.

The head exploded into a bunch of sand grains and it turned back to its original shape just in a moment.

Sam frowned, but he wasn't that flustered. He just shot another bullet and this time; it is a very close call as it almost brushed past Giyon's face.

"You better be careful Sam."

Gail warned Sam.

"Don't worry. Trust me with this. You just don't make a move. Or you will alert the wrong eyes. They were still not recognized. You make a move and they will be."

"Alright."

Sam kept on shooting three more times, but the opponent was way too stubborn and strong to let go.

She kept on trying to break Giyon's limbs.

At this moment, Sivan who is leading the soldiers saw Sam shooting at the same spot for a while and felt suspicious.

He then looked at the wall. Particularly towards Gail and Gamin who are also looking at the same spot.

He picked a telescope to observe their facial expressions.

Sam observed this and frowned. He immediately changed his aim and started shooting at different soldiers from the Mari clan.

"Gail, Gamin, you guys turn around. Look at different places. You are giving yourself away."

They instantly looked in different directions. But Sivan who is looking at them still felt a bit suspicious. He looked at Sam for the next two minutes and when he noticed that he is still shooting randomly, he became a bit relaxed.

But that relaxation only lasted for two minutes. Right when he was about to join the battle again, he changed his mind and ordered.

"Someone important is battling in that area. Aim a portable energy beam cannon at that spot and shoot. One with the large area of destruction."

"But Sir, our soldiers…"

"Don't worry about them. If my hunch is right, nothing will happen to them."

"Sir, risking it based on a hunch…"

"Just do as I say. Don't question my orders."

Sivan said coldly brushing off his subordinates' worries.

The subordinate followed the orders and a large cannon was aimed at the spot where Giyon and Grivon are struggling.

Sam changed his aim back to that spot and started shooting the woman.

Finally, after changing the frequency of the ripple energy within his attacks, he managed to make one that will affect the woman's whole body making her lose the hold she had on Giyon.

But the moment he shot that bullet, Gail who noticed the cannon prematurely made the move.

"GAIL. Don't do that."

Sam said in his communication channel, but Gail is already on the field.

The bullet hit the Woman and she lost her grip on Giyon.

But in the process, Giyon's disguise is completely gone. Sivan looked at Gail's response and then Giyon's face.

"Gail is running towards his daughter. To save her from the cannon attack."

Sivan said it in the communication channel reserved for the Divine league members.

Avlyn who has been watching the battle carefully, suddenly jerked up and replied.

"Don't stop the attack. Go on with it."

"You are making a move?"

"Yes, this is the perfect timing I was asking you about for so long."

As she spoke, she cut the channel off and called her subordinates.

"Get your weapons ready and hold the tokens on you all the time. This is the moment we have been waiting for all this while."

As she spoke, along with her five more peak stage cultivators made their move and all of them are running towards Giyon at the same time.

Sivan who saw this immediately ordered all of the soldiers in that area to move away.

Grivon who was still struggling a bit was suddenly left alone along with a few of other Giyon's subordinates.

Only Giyon was still struggling with the opponent, but the surrounding area was emptied within a few seconds.

The cannon was charged and was about to be attacked.

Sivan eagerly waited, but all of a sudden…

*BOOM*

A bullet was shot and the energy cannon exploded right before the trigger was pulled.

The soldier operating the cannon and another dozen or so around were all dead and a few dozen were severely injured.

Sivan widened his eyes in disbelief and looked at Sam hatefully.

Gail who was running suddenly relaxed.

"Why are you behaving like an idiot? I told you to trust me. You also Gamin, keeping your fucking sword back in."

Gamin who is standing on the wall had his sword in his hand. In fact, even Yuvana had one and is about to make a move, but when they heard Sam's voice, they immediately stored them away.

Gail sighed in relief. But then he noticed that the peak stage cultivators are still making a move.

Avlyn looked at Gail and didn't want to lose the opportunity, so she gritted her teeth and called her subordinates.

"I don't care anymore. Don't stop the attack. We are going with this and we are seeing through this."

As she said, she raised her hand, the surrounding dust gathered into small spherical bullets around her and within a moment hundreds of them were formed and all of them were shot at that one spot.

Gail, who stopped until then, suddenly made a move once again.

He was shocked and his heart was filled with trepidation.

"YOU FUCKING BITCH."

Sivan yelled at top of his lungs as he looked at the situation.

This is the worst thing that could happen to him now.

The unspoken rules are there for a reason.

They exist to keep some form of morality in these unnecessarily stupid and cruel wars that are causing so much bloodshed.

If powerhouses on both sides keep on killing the weaklings from the other side, things will not be peaceful anymore. All that will be left are corpses.

He panicked and looked at the remaining powerhouses that still stood on the wall of the Gaja city.

He hoped that they will not make a move no matter what.

If they did, then he will be in deep trouble. His soldiers, his ambitions, everything will be gone, because it will be impossible for him to gather what he did today, once again if he loses all the manpower of his own and his clans.

As hundreds of thoughts are running through his mind, his soldiers, elders, and Grand elders also understood the implications of this and all of them stopped battling for a moment.

This caused some of them to take the full brunt of attacks of the Energy beams from the sphere, but even then the battles were stopped between the cultivators and beasts.

They all halted and looked at this one scene.

Gail who was shocked reacted fast enough. His body turned into a glowing ray as he went through a Spiritual energy fusion and he jumped straight towards his daughter.

He reached the spot even before the bullets reached the place and hugged Giyon.

A large energy barrier appeared around him instantly. It covered Giyon, Grivon, and other subordinates around, but before it could completely surround them without any gaps, the bullets reached them.

Some of the subordinates who are too far away died on the spot.

*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*

The bullets hit the barrier with explosive noises and it shook while almost causing a dust storm.
