[An: Bonus Chapter 6/7]

Inside the Yuthia Theocracy…

"Sei, is it just me or every town we have been in so far seems like the people have not slept in years. The closer we get to the capital city, this strange condition seems to worsen." Yuthia and Sei had been slowly investigating the surrounding towns and cities to see if they found anything strange. After about a month of investigating they had noticed one trend. The light in the people's eyes seems to be dimming as if there was something sucking out the energy in their bodies. They still went about their daily tasks, but from an outsider's perspective, their movements were slow.

"Yes, it does. We should probably speed towards the capital. I have a feeling that the people there are either unable to move or so slow that it would take them days to even get up out of bed." Sei replied. She was very worried. She hoped that the two of them were not already infected by whatever it was that was hurting these people if it was some kind of strange virus. Their original plan was to do as Sei had just suggested, but this was slowed down when they saw how the people in the surrounding towns and people were behaving.

"Let's head there now." Yuthia grabbed Sei's hand and disappeared along with Sei. They both reappeared just outside the capital city.

"I smell death..." Sei replied, wrinkling her brow.

"Mmm… But I can also sense movement as well. I think we should fly over ahead and see what we are in store for." Yuthia suggested. To this, Sei nodded her head.

The two flew up over the city, and what they saw made them both pause mid air and covered their mouths in surprise. "A necropolis! So many undead roaming around. This city alone is a fortress… To think the capital city of a theocracy has turned into the city of the dead."

" How do you want to handle it?" Sei asked.

"Sei, I want you to head and find our future aunty and tell her what we have found. Tell her under no circumstances are they to invade the Yuthia Theocracy if things come down to it. I have a feeling that if they did, they would just be adding numbers to the undead that are being created here. It seems uncle's assumption was correct. I will not do anything rash. I will only investigate a little more before coming to find you." Yuthia answered. Sei was aligned with the darkness element making her a goddess of darkness. Yuthia was afraid that if Sei was exposed to whatever was causing the humans to turn into undead that she would become corrupt. And the last thing Yuthia would ever want is her lover to become corrupt.

"Mmm… Yuthia..." Sei pulled on Yuthia's hand, turning Yuthia towards her. She then pushed her lips onto Yuthia's lips, kissing her. "Be careful. You must return to me."

"I will do everything in my power to return to you, Sei. I promise I will not leave you alone." Yuthia replied. She hugged Sei tightly before pushing Sei away. "Hurry, I am not sure what this place will do to you."

"I will see you soon." Sei knew why Yuthia was sending her away. Biting her lower lip, reluctant to leave, Sei turned and flew off towards the Rural Kingdom.

Watching Sei's departing back, Yuthia let out a sigh of relief. This was one thing less for her to worry about. "Now then..." Yuthia rolled up the long sleeve of her robe and frowned as she looked at her skin. "If it is doing this to me in such a short time, what was it doing to Sei?"

Long spider like webs of black lines were forming on Yuthia's skin. It was a huge difference when compared to her powdered white colored skin. Yuthia rolled down her sleeve and looked in the direction of the towering Cathedral off in the distance. "Uncle, you owe me big for this!"

Not wasting any more time, Yuthia flew towards the castle she wanted to get this investigation over with as quickly as possible. She just hoped she could last long enough to get in and get out before whatever was in the air consumes her.

In a small town right outside the capital Tilia, Kiliffia, and Tia were standing on top of a tall platform facing a few hundred citizens. Kiliffia was standing to Tilia's right while Tia was standing to Tilia's left. Tilia took a deep breath as she began shouting:  "Hear me, people of Rural! Today I, Princess Tilia, the adopted daughter of our great King, have come here on a mission. The king has ordered that all women and children be evacuated to a safe location. In times of war, especially now and I as a human as it is and ashamed to say that humans are despicable. They act in disgusting ways, and even I, as a human, am disgusted by it. In order to be sure that the women and children of our great kingdom are safe and will not be harmed in any way when war comes knocking at our doors, we hope you will listen to our call. Pack up your things and move into a shelter where you will be protected. We do not wish for anyone to go through the atrocities that come with war."

"What do you mean? Is war really coming?" One man asked.

"Yes. War will come. It may not be today or tomorrow. It may not happen until the next day or even a year from now. But it is coming. We only wish for our people to be safe. The place you will be going is not just some kind of refugee camp. We promise you will be comfortable there and will be provided with all the daily necessities needed. We understand asking such a thing when war has yet to break out to evacuate now seems kind of ridiculous,  but when war does break out, it will be too late to evacuate then. So I hope you will all work with us."
