After Jin left, Basara already knew what was gonna happen now. Basara went inside the living room of the apartment. Currently Mio and Maria were there. Mio was sitting on a chair with a solemn expression on her face. Maria was looking through the window. The room was all dark, because the lights were off.

When Basara entered the room, they seemed to be ignoring him as Maria looked away from the window and looked at Mio.

"Mio, it seems Jin has gone away. It's time to begin the plan."

"Yes, Maria."

"What are both of you talking about? What happened?" Basara said.

"You should leave this house as well." Maria said.

"What are you saying? Mio, what is Maria saying?!"

"Basara, leave this house." Mio said.

" What? Are both of you out of your minds? We are a family now. So, why do this? I'm not leaving."

"You don't get it, do you? In this world, all kinds of things exist. There exist other races besides humans. There exist demons, monsters, Gods and heroes. Mio is the daughter of the Demon Lord. So, whatever she orders must be fulfilled. You should leave this place now. It's going to be our base. It was a good time being with you. I'm sorry, but this is for your own good." Maria said.

A magic circle appears on Maria's hands and she wtargets it towards Basara and uses wind magic to attack him. She plans to make Basara unconscious with the attack, erase his memories regarding them and leave him somewhere else.

Basara stood there without moving as the strong wind collided with his body and dispersed. The shocking part for Maria and Mio was that he was completely unscathed. Basara then released his pressure which caused both of them to fall down on their knees and being pinned to the ground.

Both of them were perplexed. Why can't they move? Is Basara doing all of this? But how? He should be an ordinary human...

Basara looked at both them and his face was totally emotionless. When Mio and Maria saw his cold eyes, a shiver ran through their spines. There senses were screaming with fear for their lives!

"Why are you both shocked? You said it yourself. That demons and Gods exist in this world, so do heroes. I'm a hero."

"What is a hero doing outside their village?!" Maria said with surprise as well as fear in her voice. She's had an incredulous expression on her face. No was also in a similar state. And as far as Maria is concerned, she is doing all of this for Mio's sake. He knew that if push comes to shove she wouldn't hesitate to even sacrifice her life for Mio's safety. Basara lifted his pressure, but they didn't seem to realise as they kept their eyes closed waiting for their punishment. But after several seconds they noticed something was off as they opened their eyes and looked at each other and they also realised that now they. oils also move their bodies. "Toujou." Maria was confused. Why was Basara asking him such questions?

After hearing Basara's question, Maria began thinking. Then she suddenly remembered that Jin Toujou is the Legendary hero who participated in the Great War. Even Wilbert, the strongest Demon Lord was afraid of Jin's strength. As a result of his prowess, e was given the alias 'Wargod'. Maria immediately face planed as she realised her foolishness. The man she was trying to fill was the Wargod!

Then if Basara is his son, he must be the Eusebius! Jin Toujou's renowned son who is rumoured to be almost surpassed his own father at his prime!

She knew that Jin and Wilbert had worked together to end the Great War and became good friends. That's why, she and Mio weren't hurt. She felt incredibly lucky! Cause both of them could kill her and Mio in a moment!

"We're sorry. We will be leaving." Maria said as she held Mio's hand. Both of them began walking and we're about to exit through the main door, but Basara stopped them by speaking.

"You both will be living here. Both of you are my family now. It's my duty as a man to protect my family, my little sisters."

Hearing his words both Mio and Maria felt very happy and guilty at the same time. Basara was showing them so much kindness even though they tried to wrong him.

They again apologized to him and Basara told them not to worry.

"I said don't worry, didn't I? Let's leave the past behind and move forward. Let's have dinner. I'll be going Mio's school from tomorrow. I've never attended a school. I hope it I'll be good."

"I'm sure it'll be good." Mio said. She had a happy expression on her face. She felt happy that even though they and Basara didn't know much about each other, he was still caring for them. He was even willing to be her family. This truly warmed her heart. Maria was also very happy.

The three of them went inside the house. After having dinner they went to their own rooms and went asleep. Basara was quite excited. He would be joining school tomorrow, after all. He would finally be meeting 'her'.
