Reincarnated In Testament Of New Devil

{From now on I'll write the novel from a third person's perspective. In this way, I'll be able to portray the plot better}

On the next day, Basara woke up early in the morning. Brynhildr went back to her usual sword form. Today was the day of an important event in the village. All the children above the age of 10, would be taken to the inner shrine. Today all of them will be binded to spirits and assigned a weapon. For them to be able to become stronger. Basara has already received Brynhildr, so he won't be taking part in it. Jin still hasn't returned to the village yet. It seems his mission is of high importance.

Basara got ready and left his house. He wished to meet the his friends who would be going to the inner shrine. Then he would go to have some fun with a certain woman.

In the village square all the children had gathered. The elders and some senior heroes were here to accompany the children to the inner shrine. Basara quickly arrived at the square. He met Yuki, Kurumi, Takashi and his other friends. He gave them his best wishes. Then they were taken to the inner shrine. Basara then walked toward Yuki's house. Shuuya was recently sent out of town regarding a mission. He won't be back for a month. The sacred ritual in the inner shrine would continue for two weeks. After all, it's hard to even establish contact with a spirit, much less forming a contract with them.

Basara suddenly remembered something and went o the Colosseum in the town. Inside the Colosseum, there was a wide battle arena. Basara wanted to go there to test Brynhildr. When he reached there, he summoned Brynhildr from it's own dimension. These two weeks the village would be mostly empty. It's an ideal time to unleash his full power and begin training like hell. He also mastered his space and time magic, along with his elemental magic. All upgraded to the SSS Rank.

Basara swung Brynhildr for some time in several different ways to get accustomed to it. After that, he he started to concentrate the energy flowing through his body. He wanted to come in contact with the four different blood inside him. They were the God blood of Raphaeline, the Demonic blood of Sapphire, the Hero blood of Jin and the Dragon blood of Fafnir. Since Jin drank Fafnir's blood in the past after killing him.

As he peeked into his soul, he saw four spheres of powers. They were glowing Jade green, Bloody red, navy blue and dark green. Each of them contained different powers. The keys to each of these spheres were obstructed. Basara poured ki into the keys. The energy cleared the keys of any impurities. As a result, he could connect to the spheres and began unlocking his powers.

When he unlocked all his powers, he slowly opened his eyes. One could notice enlightenment in them. One by one he activated his powers and got amazed by his own strength. He was surprised to know about his unlimited potential. Finally when he achieved control over them, he felt reply satisfied. But Basara forgot one important thing, that his powers were causing unnatural changes in the village that attracted someone's attention. All the villagers were currently in the shrine, so they didn't notice it. But a person did. The worst possible person. The moment he felt that overwhelming power he headed towards it's origin.

Basara felt someone approaching his location. He quickly scanned the area and found out that it was that bastard. That damn Shiba was coming here! What a fool he was to forget about placing a barrier around the Colosseum! He met Shiba a long time ago. All the children are aware of him.

When Shiba arrived at the Colosseum he saw Basara. He was surprised to find out that such a terrifying set of powers was being eminated from Basara. Four different powers and each of them were enough to pose a threat to him.

"I didn't expect you to hide such powers from us Basara. It's bad to keep secrets."

"Why are you here, Shiba?" Basara said calmly. His eyes cold and his face impassive.

"You already know the reason. You're extremely strong. Maybe even stronger than Jin. I need you."

"Stop your bluffing. You just want to absorb me, to get my powers. I already know everything about you. You are just a clone of my father created by Alberios. Reginleif tried to take your powers, bit you instead absorbed him and took all his powers for yourself."

"It seems you've done your homework. I'm amazed, Basara. What a shame that I must kill you. Don't worry I'll forever remember your sacrifice."

After saying that, Shiba activated his powers. But he knew that Basara couldn't be underestimated. Shiba at once summons Reginleif and envelopes himself in his demonic armor as his appear completely changes and his power rises at an unrealistic level. But Basara was still calm as ice. He didn't even need to use his full power to defeat Shiba.

Basara didn't use Brynhildr. He decided to use the powers of his hybrid bloodline. He activated his demonic powers inherited from Sapphire. Since he wasn't using Brynhildr he didn't transform into his demon armor, rather something strange happened. His demon blood became dominant among his floor bloods and awakened his demonic lineage. His hair and eyes turned red. Not ordinary red, it was the color of blood, so much so that his hair looked like it was dyed in blood! Two long curved horns similar to his mother's grew from his head. His eyes became reptilian and his ears became pointy and elf-like. A dark red aura was being emanated from his body. His face looked magnificent, while his body grew older to that of a high schooler. His body became athletic and muscular, not bulky.

Shiba was shocked at Basara's transformation. He could feel that Basara's powers were of demonic origin. Shiba charged at Basara with his sword. He understood that this is a matter of life and death. He must absorb Basara and if not then he must kill him. Wen Shiba swung his sword, he could see that he only cut a blur. There was several blurs of Basara around Shiba. Basara was so fast that Shiba was cutting his afterimages. Shiba might not be able to catch up, but he should at least be able to strike him once. But he couldn't even do that much.

He used the element of fire to strike Basara with his flames. Basara used his space element to create a rift in space that absorbed Shiba's flames. Shiba activated his element of metal to create several spears and arrows to attack Basara. Basara skillfully dodged all of them. Shiba used his element of water to bring forth a huge wave and Basara used his own fire element to vaporize the wave. Shiba used his element of wood to attack Basara, attacks that Basara countered with his own wood element. His earth element was also useless against Basara.

Shiba was astonished from how he was being handled like a child. His calm and arrogant expression was replaced by that of extreme rage.

"Enough! I didn't want to do this, but you forced me Basara!"

He summoned his God sword Totsuka-no-Tsurugi. At once his speed and strength skyrocketed. He approached Basara and swung his sword. Basara summoned Brynhildr at once and used it block Shiba's strike. Basara infused his demonic gravitational powers into the sword, making it stronger and heavier. Basara and Shiba engaged in a sword fight. Basara deflected all of Shiba's strikes and attacked him with his own sword strikes. Shiba dodged Basara's attacks and kept fighting him.

Basara blocked another of Shiba's strikes and kicked him in the gut. His kick was infused with his gravity magic with blew off Shiba a few meters away. Shiba did a summersault and landed on his feet. Basara flew into the air with his control of gravity and infused Brynhildr with crimson aura. The flame above Brynhildr's hilt turned scarlet while it was covered in a crimson aura. Basara released a Gravity Slash at Shiba. The slash of pure gravity made a large cut on his c.h.e.s.t and at once pinned Shiba to the ground.

Basara kept repeating his Gravity Slash over and over again. The impact of each of them shattered Shiba's bones and his demon armor. Blood gushed from his wounds creating a truly pitiful and gruesome site. Basara stopped and send Brynhildr back to it's dimension. He landed on the ground and slowly walked over to Shiba. Shiba slowly tried to get up but his wounds were to severe. He only got up on his knees.When Basara got close to him, he revealed a grin and activated his Corruption Absorption to absorb Basara along with his powers. Basara was absorbed by Shiba. Shiba laughed like a maniac at his success.

"Hahaha! HAHAAHA!"

Inside Shiba, Basara was drowning in an abyss of darkness. But a smirk flashed on his face and he used his gravity magic to create a strong barrier around himself. Then he unleashed the full force of his gravity magic on Shiba. The gravity crushed Shiba and ruptured all of his internal organs and his Corruption Absorption became distorted. Using this opportunity, Basara escaped from his corruption safe and sound. Shiba was completely dumbfounded at everything that was happening. Reginleif, one of the ten gods, couldn't escape his corruption, but Basara, a ten year old kid, managed to escape it. How could it even be possible?!

But Shiba came out of his daze and now his face had a grim expression. He looked at Basara with a chilling gaze.

"Don't blame for what happens now. Yu forced this date on yourself. I will destroy this entire village along with you and myself. Goodbye, Basara."

Saying so, Shiba's aura became black as he closed his eyes. He was about to release all the corruption he absorbed throughout his entire life. The corruption would be released in a huge explosion that will destroy the entire village and everyone in it, including himself and Basara. For a second tension flashed on Basara's face, but immediately it turned into an arrogant grin. She released all his corruption in a dark explosion. Just as the explosion reached him, Basara activated his time magic and stoped time. Everything stopped before Basara's eyes. Using this chance, Basara summoned Brynhildr and cut Shiba in half killing him in an instant. He fed Shiba's soul to Brynhildr along with all his powers including his entire corruption.

Basara returned time back to normal and returned to his normal form. He sent Brynhildr back to it's dimension and looked at his surroundings. The sky was dark and twinkling with stars with the arrival of night, seven hours had passed since the afternoon. The Colosseum and the arena returned back to normal due to the barrier Basara placed around the place. He now headed to Yuki's house to bang her dear mother.
