Basara wakes up early in the morning with Brynhildr nestled against his body. Brynhildr was resting her head on his c.h.e.s.t as she subconsciously inhaled his scent. Unlike humans, all other beings have the ability to erect pheromones using their increased send of smell. Due to forming the Master-servant vow, Basara's body naturally releases pheromones that attracts all females that are of similar age or older than him. After forming the vow with Mio, the amount of pheromones he released have increased by a large amount including their quality.

After watching Brynhildr's adorable sleeping face for ten more minutes, Basara slowly slipped out of the body without waking her up. He covered her body with a blanket and left the room. He entered the washroom to freshen up and take a bath. After doing so, Basara wore normal clothes and sat on the floor. He sat in Otis position and slowly closed his eyes. His mind completely blanked as all unnecessary thoughts were chased away from his mind. His sole focus was the ki that was coursing through his body.

Ki is different from Mana. They are very similar but fundamentally different. Mana is the natural life force energy that permeates the universe. Every living and non-living being has Mana. It is a cultivation or possession of energy and power, rather than being a source of power. Ki is the vital force forming part of any living entity. Magic is the manipulation of a certain amount of Mana depending on the laws of the record. Ki manipulation is the manipulation of the ki in the environment and in their bodies.

When a person uses magic, they can use Mana to manipulate any particular element. To control the elements, however, a person needs to have an affinity with that element. If a person doesn't have an affinity with a particular element, it's impossible for them to control that element. In simple terms, magic is the manipulation of the elements of nature with the help of Mana. But ki manipulation doesn't mean controlling the elements of nature. Because in ki manipulation, people only manipulate ki, meaning pure energy.

Among all elements, pure energy is the most simple but if the person using it is capable enough, it can also be the strongest. Ki manipulation is also more versatile than magic. The characters in Dragon Ball all use ki. Goku's 'Kamehameha' and Vegeta's 'Final Flash' are blasts of ki. Their enhanced physical strength is a result of ki manipulation. Now, Basra was focusing on the ki coursing through his body as he absorbs ki from his surroundings into his body. Though he already has a mastery over ki manipulation, the amount of ki in his body is overwhelming. There might be instances where the ki inside his body goes out of control, that would be disastrous. That's why, he meditates every morning and checks his body to see if the flow of ki in his body has any problems or not.

After meditating for about an hour, Basara opened his eyes and wore his school uniform. It's almost time to go to school. After he was finished changing, Brynhildr also woke up. Basara looks over to the bed to see Brynhildr slowly opening her alluring light green eyes. She got up from the bed and her body glowed with a magical light. After the glow faded her robe appeared on her body and she walked over to Basara. She wrapped her arms his neck with a teasing look in her eyes as she said "You completely devoured me last night, darling. You're like a beast." As she finished speaking she playfully licked her lips.

Basara's mind blanked for a moment when he saw Brynhildr's changed demeanor, she was acting very differently from her usually subservient and reserved personality. But he also knew that for a girl, losing their v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y is something very important. So, when Basara took her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y and the way he treated her last night must've left a big impact on her heart. But Basara didn't mind this at all as he wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her closer to him. He spoke sincerely "If it's you, then I can't help not wanting to completely eat you. From now on, you belong to me. Me beloved Brynhildr." Towards the end of his words, Basara gave Brynhildr a kiss on the lips. The kiss was rather take, but it conveyed the love he felt for her. Brynhildr also reciprocated the kiss in a tame way as she also converted her love towards him.

After separating their lips, Brynhildr disappeared in a flash of green light as she turned back into a sword. Basara held Brynhildr's hilt and returned her back to her dimension. Then he went downstairs to have breakfast as he arrived at the dining table. He was greeted at the table by Mio, Maria and Yuki.

"Good morning, everyone. Yuki, have you managed move in all of your belongings?"

"Yes, Basara. I did it during the previous night."

"Good. I want to tell something to a three of you. From tomorrow, every morning I'll train each of you. Yuki is already strong and good with the sword, but you don't have sufficient control over your powers. You became AAA Rank quite recently, so I'm sure that you don't have complete control over your powers. I'll help you control it during the training. Maria and Mio, both of you are nowhere near Yuki's level. You both need to become much stronger than you currently are. Mio, you've a high potential and also possess Wilbert's power. For now, you need to achieve the full growth of your own power before you can control Wilbert's power. Maria, you need to focus more on your physical capabilities since you are a physical type fighter. I will teach you a trick to increase your physical strength using magic, during the training. I want the three of you to take your trainings very seriously. I'll also be personally forging weapons and armor for each of you, so don't let me down." Hearing Basara's words, the three girls had resolute looks in their eyes. They loved the idea of becoming stronger, since doing so will give them the ability to stand day Basara's side during danger. They wanted to become strong enough to support him, so that they wouldn't be one burdens for him in the future.

After finishing breakfast, Basara, Mio and Yuki left for the school. After arriving at the school, they sat on their seats and began conversing with their friends as there was till time before the classes begin. Basara was greeted by Yahiro as he said "Good morning, Basara. How are you doing?"

"I'm doing great. Tell me about everything that's happening in the Demon Realm right now." Basara said the last part of his sentence with a low voice that only he and Yahiro could hear. Yahiro began answering Basara's question with a similarly low voice, so that only Basara could hear.

"The Moderate Faction is currently watching the actions of the Demon Lord Faction. They are probably contemplating if they should bring Mio to the Demon Realm. They are also preparing their forces in case the Demon Lord Faction launches an attack or declares war on them. The Demon Lord Faction, on the other hand, is sensing new observers to watch over Mio. They want Wilbert's power at all costs. Our current Demon Lord, Leohart, has entrusted this responsibility to Zolgear. Zolgear is a member of the Seven Cardinal Sins, also known as the Demon Council. He is it's weakest and lowest Ranked members, known as the sin of l.u.s.t. Zolgear is sending two observers to watch Mio. One of them is Valga, a very strong demon. The other one is Zest, an artificial demon created by him."

"Zolgear's the same man who killed Mio's foster parents, right?"

"Yes. Zolgear has no intention of supporting the Demon Lord Faction. That old swine is only pretending to be a loyal dog, but he is nothing but a damn traitor. He wants to take Wilbert's power for himself, so that he can destroy both the Demon Lord Faction and Moderate Faction to become the new Demon Lord. He also wants to take Mio his slave as he plans to make her his personal c.u.mdump....." Towards the end of his words, Lars stopped speaking as he looked at the deadly killing intent that was leaking from Basara. He didn't speak any further since there's no guarantee that Basara wouldn't kill him and destroy everything in the vicinity. So he was prepared to run away without waiting for even a second.

Basara already knew about Zolgear and his personality from the original plot. But he couldn't stop the coldness that was spreading in his mind when he heard the last part of Yahiro's words. Mio was now Basara's woman, so if anyone even looked at her with l.u.s.t, then they'll have to pay the price. Basara's knew that he was very overprotective of his women. But he didn't give a damn what other's thought about him. Because when it comes to his women, Basara won't hesitate to take action. If Zolgear does even thinks about doing anything to Mio, Basara would completely annihilate him.

Mio and Yuki had also detected the killing intent radiating from Basara's body. They already knew that Yahiro is Lars and that he is now working for Basara. They understood that Yahiro must have given Basara an information that made him feel very angry and they were sure that the information was probably related to them in someway. So, even though they anted to go and calm down Basara, they didn't as it would make Basara even further angry. Instead they decided to do something else to calm down Basara.

"Chika and Shiho, why don't both of you go and greet Basara?" Mio suggested. Yuki also added "Yes, you should talk and interact with Basara more often. He's now he boyfriend of both of you, after all." In response, Chika replied "We don't mind interacting with him. It's just that we feel a little embarrassed after our kiss on that day." Shiho followed he sword by saying "But now that both of you've said it, we'll spend more time with him from now on. We'll go and greet him now."
