After binding Basara with her Divine Artifact, Afureia put her hand on Basara's forehead and channelled her golden aura in his body. Basra tried to resist, but his attempts were futile as Afureia's aura quickly spread throughout his entire body. The light green flame in Basara's left eye faded away as his aura retreated back into his body. Basara closed his eyes as darkness covered his vision with a gentle stream of energy emanating in his body. After Basara had fallen unconscious, Afureia retracted the chains and caught Basara's body tightly as she hovered in he air while embracing Basara. She then restored the city back to normal and return all the citizens to what they were doing before any of this happened.

She also used her aura to erase everyone's memories about this incident including Mio, Maria, Yuki, Lars and Basara. But though she though she'd erased his memory about this incident, Basara still remembered everything with Rose's help. Afterwards Afureia just laid Basara on the bed of his bedroom. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and returned stop her own house. After about five more minutes, Basara finally opened his eyes. This time tears streaming down in cheeks.

Today he'd almost lost everything he cared for. If not for Afureia, Basara would have probably lost Mio, Maria, Yuki and all of his other loved ones. But even though all of them were safe an sound, Basara couldn't help but blame himself for everything. Because of him all seven billion people on the Earth's surface were on the verge of death and millions of people had even died. He was deeply thankful to Afureia for saving everyone and returning the dead back to life. He get an extreme amount of guilt for everything that happened. Brynhildr manifested herself in front of him and hugged him tightly. She knew about everything that happened. She wanted to stop Basara herself, but a strange force was constricting her at the time. Basara hugged Brynhildr back and buried his face into when cleavage as he kept crying. All the while he was shedding tears, Brynhildr stroked his head and kept comforting him. At this point, Basra knew that one the women closest to his heart was Brynhildr. But Basara very well knew that there are four other women that held the same place as Brynhildr in his heart or probably even higher. They were Raphaeline, Sapphire, Afureia and Kaoru.

Raphaeline is his second biological mother in this life. She had sacrificed her entire existence for his sake and always loved him. Sapphire is Basara's first biological mother in this life and though he doesn't know much about her. He knew that he'd originated from her w.o.m.b and that she also loved him more than anything in the entire world. Afureia is Sapphire's younger cousin and in a way, she's Basara's aunt. Though the perfect way to describe their relationship is she is his first cousin once removed. Even though most of the Ten Gods were in favour of Basara being killed, Afureia was against it and she even came to the Human Realm to watch over him and protect him. She even went as far as to sacrifice her Divine Power all for his sake and she'd always been protecting him from the shadows and she also loves him. In truth, Afureia was always his favourite character from the novel and anime of The Testament f Sister New Devil in his first life. It's a matter of fact that if a question was asked who held the highest position in Basara's heart from a romantic point of view, it would definitely be Afureia. Then last but not least, Kaoru. Since the night Basara took her v.i.r.g.i.n.i.t.y, she had become fully dedicated for him and she loved him the most in the entire world. She was also the woman Basara had been in a relationship for the longest time.

After three hours, Basara finally calmed down. Brynhildr returned to her own dimension and Basara began contemplating everything about today's incident. When he was thinking about Zest in ten restaurant, a sudden pain began spreading through his head and from the eon Basara went berserk. So, why did that pain occur? Why did he go berserk? Basara was sure that it had nothing to do with his instinct regarding Zest Though he did feel a compulsion in his mind to make her his in the future, it doesn't have anything to do with his power.

Basara's instinct only creates a strong d.e.s.i.r.e in his mind to make a woman his, it doesn't have any connection to his power and Aura whatsoever. So, that theory's out of the question. He remembered that when he was thinking about Zest besides his instinct activating he felt an incredible source of danger causing his danger instincts to trigger. He felt as if his life was in mortal peril. But with something like 'The Aether' Basara's soul was absolutely immortal. But at that time when his danger instincts had triggered he felt as of his soul was also in danger of being destroyed. If that is the case then it means that the threat that Basra felt was something higher than Tier 20, even stronger than 'The Aether.' Thinking till here, Basara understood that this incident had nothing to do with the record he's living in at all.

'You're right, Ethan. Your earlier outburst was a result of something even more powerful than 'The Aether'.'

'But 'The Aether' is an artifact created from the Void's chaotic energies. Nothing's should be be greater than it. Except....!'

'Yes, you guessed correctly Ethan. The Void itself is the reason behind this incident.'

'But why? And how?'

'When you were in the restaurant, the Void had suddenly released a large burst of chaotic energies. Those chaotic energies actually transfered into your body due to your connection with The Void. That energy was too strong for you. As a result your soul was on the verge of getting destroyed, that's the reason for the pain you felt. 'The Aether' had quickly reacted to the situation and began absorbing the chaotic energies. But even then the energy had instead started rampaging around your soul, resulting in the activation of your [Hero Aura] skill. Once you couldn't control the chaotic energy, it took over your body and started wreaking havoc. When that woman arrived, her aura manged to return a bit of calm down your [Hero Aura] skill. Using that chance, 'The Aether' absorbed the remaining chaotic energies.'

'Hmm...I understand. But why did the Void release those chaotic energies suddenly?'

'Ethan, you already know that the Void has become unstable as of late. It's constantly on the verge of exploding and destroying the cosmos. Though there's no guarantee when it may explode, it could explode this very second or tomorrow or next week or even next or after a hundred million years. The Good could explode at any moment. Though the chances are more of it exploding after a few million years, almost 60%. There are changes of it exploding sooner. Though at the most soon, it would at least be ten thousand years before it exploded. But it would release occasional bursts of energy, unless it becomes fully stable which you've to do in the future.'

'I see. Then how do I prevent myself from getting berserk like this in the future?'

'It's simple. You need to do more quests. The moe quests you accomplish, the more powerful 'The Aether' gets.'

'Alright. I guess I'll have to finish these two quests pretty soon.' Ethan suddenly heard a *ping* in his mind when thinking about when about the two quests he'd received previously.

After seeing the both notifications, Basra was happy. He finally had more than zero SP and he had completed at least one quest, even though it's optional. 'Max' means hundred, which is the limit of a person's affection and loyalty. He summoned the two [Desideratum]s from his inventory into his hands. Immediately two orbs appeared in each of his hands. One orb had a vibrant scarlet coloration to it, this was Mio's [Desideratum]. The either orb was dark purple in color with a touch of gold, this was Kaoru's [Desideratum]. Basara stowed both the orbs away in his inventory for the time being. He then teleported away from his house and appeared in Chika and Shiho's house.

Both of them were childhood friends and both their families had died in a car accident. Since then both of them have been living in this apartment all by themselves with the help of the financial help given by some of their relatives. Basara stowed all of their luggage and belongings into his inventory. He decide drop leave the fate of the house to Chika and Shiho. He teleported back to his house. He first shifted all of their belongings into two rooms and then he went to meet the girls. He entered the living room through the elevator. The girls were all conversing happily and watching TV. They seemed to become aware of Basara's arrival and all of them greeted him.

"Good evening, everyone. Chika and Shiho, I've brought your belongings into two f the rooms on the fifth floor."

"Thank you, Basara." Chika said.

"What would you like to eat for dinner? Tonight, I and Chika want to cook for all of you." Shiho said.

"Why don't you ask Yuki? She knows about all of my preferences. I'll go and freshen up." Basara then left the living room, leaving the girls to themselves for the time being. Though Afureia had erased the memories of almost everyone who knew about the incident, it was in the Human Realm. The Demon Realm and Celestial Realm must've found out about the incident and they should already be investigating it. There's also the fact that the Heroes also probably knew of the incident as their memories weren't probably erased. Afureia had erased the memories of the incident from all the normal people and those that were aware of it's origin. Since the Heroes had no idea about it's origin their memories, they still knew about the incident. Afureia could've erased their memories about the incident as well, but her Divine Power was still restricted. One of the Vows she made before coming to the Human Realm to watch over Basara is that she would only use her Divine Power in case Basara's life was in danger or to protect him. Since both of these conditions were met during the incident, she could use her Divine Power. And since people knowing that the origin of the incident was Basra might also of his life at risk, she was allowed to use her Divine Power to erase the memories. As far as erasing the memories of normal people was concerned, she did that without using her Divine Power. But to erase the memories of supernatural existences like Heroes she would have to use her Divine Power, but since since none of the conditions were met regarding the Heroes she couldn't use her Divine Power.

Basara knew that the village would contact him at any time now. They wouldn't suspect him as the origin of the incident, not after the trust he had created in their hearts for the past fourteen years of this life. They would probably summon him to look into this situation and deal with the situation entirely if necessary.
