Annoyed at the notification that appeared and disrupted him from falling asleep, Basara decided to see what notification had appeared in the system. At Amy given moment, 'The Aether'could give him a very significant Quest. He didn't want to wait till morning to view the notification when it could be something highly significant. Basara simply viewed the notification that the system had given to him.

'I completed the quest regarding Emiko as well. Rose, how much SP do I currently have?'

'Good. I think I should check the three [Desideratum]s,. that're currently inside my inventory. Now is the perfect time.' Thinking so, Basara pulled out Mio's [Desideratum] as a bright red colored orb appeared in his left hand. He focused his intent onto the orb and crushed it in his hand as the world around him came to a stop. His surroundings began changed to a dark place. Basara found this place very similar to a place he knew of. This place was very similar to outer space, no matter where he looked there was only endless darkness. The surrounding around him again changed as he appeared inside a house, a normal japanese house.

He saw a male and a female, who were most likely a couple, feeding a young child as they all sat together in the dining table. Basara immediately recognized the couple as demons and as for the child...it was a young girl of probably three to four years old with long dark red hair that reached her waist and pink colored eyes. Her hair was tied in twin tails and she was a very cute girl, anyone could tell just by a look that she would grow up to be great beauty. Basara recognized this girl before him as Mio. The two people around her must be her foster parents, the ones who protected her as her guardian by Wilbert's guardian. These two were the same people who raised Mio like their own daughter and the same people who were killed by Zolgear.

Basara watched as the scenario continued changing and all of them were focused on Mio and her foster parents. She was always happy and cheerful around them. Maria was also present in some of the scenarios with Mio's and the couple. All of them looked very happy together, always smiling in each other's presence. All the scenarios had a warm yellow and sunny orange colors to them. But suddenly the color shifted to dreadful violet and painful grey and a few strands of furious red. The scenario changed and this time it showed Mio looking with a horrified look in her eyes as Zolgear killed her foster mother right in front of her eyes. Her blood splattered around the room and down of it also covered half of Mio's face. Her father tried to protect her but Zolgear also beheaded him. She felt dread and pain in her heart seeing the two most precious people in her life wing butchered in front of her eyes as her eyes remained wide as if her soul had been s.u.c.k.e.d four of her body. There was also a bit of anger in her heart against the man who had taken both of her parents away from her. Thia anger began growing until he entire scenario took on a furious red color and Mio's power activated unconsciously as she attacked Zolgear. Zolgear started screaming in pain as he was planted to the ground due to the immense gravity and his comes threatened to break. Then or of the blue Maria appeared and escaped with Mio.

She explained everything to Mio and both of them dared looking around the town since then. After that, all the scenarios had a dull grey color to it. But suddenly the color changed as well as the scenario as it showed Mio and Maria sitting in a restaurant meeting talking with Jin. The scenario's colors were now a bit brighter than before as she converted with Jin. Then a young man entered with brown hair and light green eyes entered the restaurant. The moment Mio's eyes fell on him, the color changed again as it became a bit more bright and a few strands of pink appeared.

From then onwards all the scenarios were focused on her and Basara. For the first time her aura had taken a bright yellow color when Basara had accepted them despite them trying to trick him and despite knowing about the fact that they were demons. After this, all he scenarios had warm yellow and orange colors. Sometimes the colors were pink as well. The scenario also showed Mio's interactions with Chika, Shiho and Yuki which had a bug impact on her. Then in the scenario, Mio and Basara were seen making the Master-Servant Contract and Vow. This time the color was mostly pink. When Basara made the Vow with her and accepted her feelings and promised to protect her, the color changes to passionate red and the color kept in getting even deeper as Basara took her first time and had s.e.x with her.

After that the dark world around him had shattered like glass as Mio appeared in front of him, smiling at him. Basra was a bit fl.u.s.tered when Mio appeared out of nowhere. But then he thought that this must be an avatar of the real Mio and a representation of her feelings and emotions. Mio approached him and used her hands to wipe the liquid that poured down his cheeks. Basara was a bit confused when he use this own hands to touch his cheeks and noticed that e was crying. He understood that he must have began crying when he saw all of Mio's memories, but since he completely focused don the scenarios, which were Mio's memories, he didn't realize that he was crying. But for some reason e felt that these were tears if happiness. Basara relaxed that these tears appeared after he saw in these scenarios how much he meant to Mio. Thinking about it, tears again started pouring down his cheeks as he tightly hugged Mio.

Mio stroked his hair and back in an attempt to console him as his teras finally came to a stop a bright smile blossomed on his face. A charming smirk appeared on Mio's face as she said "Thank you, Basara. You saved me from my past, you accepted me even after I and Maria tried to use you, you even promised to protect me no matter what and most important of them all you replaced all my suffering with your love. I'm happy that I had the fortune of meeting you. I'm happy to see that my love towards you means a lot to you. I'm happy to see the huge amount of live that you've for me. By I promise Basara, I'll also protect you, I'll always stand by our side and no matter what, I'll always keep loving you."

Saying that, Mio gave Basara a kiss and the space around him including Mio faded away s Basara returned to awareness. He immediately looked at the clock on the wall and noticed that only a second had passed. He would see Emiko sleeping in his embrace with a female smirk on her face. Basara wiped away the tears pouring down his cheeks and said in a very low voice "I love you too, Mio. I swear I'll always keep you alongside me and I'll forget protect you." As he said so, a *Ping* sounded in his mind and Basara looked at the notification of the system.
