Reincarnation – Lord is Extremely Hardcore
Chapter 55.3
The darkness of the night had soon overtaken his surroundings.
Mo Qianren stood inside Jin Biaohu’s old room, his gaze on the window. The curtains were tied to the sides. He was waiting for the ghostly figure to appear. Translated by The Novelst
A breeze blew the corner of the curtain up. Mo Qianren was leaning on the wall beside the open door.
The surroundings were quiet. The beige curtain was blown upwards by a strong wind, swaying in large movements even though it was tied to the wall. The sound of the fierce wind swept by him ominously.
Suddenly, Mo Qianren felt a cold wind on the back of his neck, as though someone was blowing air onto his neck…
Mo Qianren squinted his eyes, turning around and grabbing blindly with all his strength. He was so fast that the person behind him couldn’t react in time before being grabbed.
“Eh, eh, eh! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch…” One of Lu Zimeng’s arms was twisted tightly against his back with such strength that he was grimacing in pain. All he did was tease him a little, did he need to be so merciless?
Just as Mo Qianren furrowed his brows in response, he heard Jin Biaohu scream in the distance, “Someone! Help! Ahhhhhh!”
Mo Qianren released his friend, rushing with large strides to Jin Biaohu’s room to kick the door in.
All he could see in the room was Jin Biaohu capsized next to his bed, his face full of fear and cowering.
The curtain floated in the air, looking very ominous.
When Jin Biaohu saw Mo Qianren, his tears almost burst through. He looked upon his savior, “Help! There are ghosts here! Help! Help me…”
However, Mo Qianren didn’t bother with Jin Biaohu. He walked to the flapping curtain and pulled it to the side.
Looking out the window, he couldn’t see anything. It was empty whether he looked up, down, or around.
Lu Zimeng was holding his crutches against the wall. He looked in fear at Mo Qianren. Damn, this feeling was way too scary…
Mo Qianren frowned, walking quickly before Jin Biaohu, lifting his collar to say, “What did you see?”
In just a few days, Jin Biaohu had lost weight and had dark rings under his eyes, his face extremely pale.
He looked at Mo Qianren, his lips trembling, “Ghosts… Ghosts…”
“Tell me!” Mo Qianren raised his voice in impatience.
Before Jin Biaohu could respond, Lu Zimeng had fastened his eyes on the window, an expression of fear overtaking his face. He wanted to scream but he couldn’t, his throat nonfunctional in the wake of his extreme shock.
“Qian… Qianren…” Lu Zimeng’s voice was very low.
Mo Qianren heard him, turning to look at him before whipping to the window.
Before the curtain there was a dark shadow of a woman floating in the air, like a long-haired woman was standing without ground and staring from the window. As the curtain blew further open, the corner of her white skirt and the half-transparent nature of her skin could be seen…
“Ahhhh!” Jin Biaohu screamed in terror. His leg was broken, so he couldn’t move. He held tight to Mo Qianren’s hand. “Help help! The ghost is here to take our lives! Help!”
Mo Qianren pulled his hand away in disgust. He stood up to take a closer look, taking slow steps toward the window.
Lu Zimeng’s heart thudded in his chest. He held onto his phone, wondering if he should call the police to capture the ghost, or find a master to exorcise it away…
The ghost was standing just outside the window, floating on air. Her legs appeared eye-level to the three men.
Mo Qianren didn’t stop walking. He grabbed the curtain, tearing it down in a show of strength, revealing the top half ot the ghost. The scary face, covered in blood, was immediately visible.
“Aghhh! Help! Help! Ahhhhhhhh!” Jin Biaohu wet himself.
Lu Zimeng was also surprised, his heart skipping a few beats in his chest. But when he turned around to see the yellow liquid trickling down Jin Biaohu’s legs, he didn’t forget to roast him in his heart. This big guy had such a towering frame, but he was so afraid?!
Mo Qianren looked the ghost in the eye, but after a few seconds, he released the curtain. He turned around to walk out of the room and Lu Zimeng hobbled fearfully after him, leaving Jin Biaohu to scream alone in fear.
Mo Qianren power-walked to the elevator in just a few steps. Luckily, Lu Zimeng had practice with his crutches and could keep up.
“Damn, Mo Qianren, how can you leave without bringing me along?” Lu Zimeng thought Mo Qianren was trying to run away, but looking at how he didn’t even spare him a second glance, he suddenly felt irritated.
It wasn’t like he didn’t know that he was super afraid of this sort of thing!
Mo Qianren didn’t bother with him, his gaze fixed before him. The elevator reached the first floor. Ding! The doors opened, and Mo Qianren took large steps to leave. Translated by The Novelst
He walked to the back of the garden, and from time to time he would glance upwards toward Jin Biaohu’s room to check its position.
